My mom's doctor told her to look into the DASH diet. So I got this book for the recipes to align with that diet. I liked that the book opens by looking at what the diet comprises and its important foods and vitamins/minerals. I found the recipes interesting. There are quite a few that use coconut, almonds and medjool dates, whixh are all things I enjoy. So, I look forward to trying a bunch of these recipes.

The dash diet is new to me. I did like how detailed the book was in explaining the sirt and what foods should be limited or avoided. It also advocated setting an exercise routine, which can be hard to do. I liked the recipes but wish there were more.
