The end of Hajime's journey is finally in sight. So long as he and his comrades can overcome this final trial, his long-awaited dream of returning home can be realized. But one last obstacle stands in their way: Yue, Shea, Tio, and Kaori must still overcome their copies. With all of the baggage they're carrying with them, will they be able to accept themselves for who they are?
Kuuuhh-----! That was one hell of a cliff hanger! OMG!! I can't wait for vol.11 to be released. That's one an awful welcome party they got at the end after clearing the labyrinth. lmao...
Also, God damn man... Kouki, the "Hero" is a serious piece of shit. No joke. He's just a waste of space, trash, delusional, asshole. I want him to die so bad. Such a god damn waste to have the label or, title of "Hero" attached to such garbage. Sadly, I doubt he'll die but he really needs to have way less page space. lol.. I wasted precious minutes with that amoeba.
Anyways, great addition, cannot wait till the next! Anxiously awaiting it!
Nice to see the second half of the story from volume 9 -- to see how Shea and Yue handle their challenges as well as Kaori and Tio and so on. Kouki as usual is an asshat. However, the book loses one full star for the F-words: more in the first 100 pages than in several previous volumes (they didn't end there)…. And when you have Shea using them it just felt so wrong. There was interesting stuff and some interesting revelations, but just far too many things disappointed me in this novel. I’ve mentioned the F-bombs, the harem-ness of this one blows the rest of the series away (and that’s saying something). For having such a major thing found from clearing the labyrinth to it being shunted aside by all the other shenanigans was anticlimactic to say the least.
The book ends on a cliffhanger which is good. After a lot of little disappointments in the novel I was glad for something to look forward to. The Extra Chapter was worth a read and for once the Bonus Chapters did not annoy the hell outta me.
While previous volume was Shizuku centered, in this one we also got great development of other characters. Especially it's great we get to know more about main characters like Yue, Shea or Tio since latest volume were more focused around newer characters.
The only think i didn't like is at the end of volume when Hajime memories just popped out coincidentally out of nowhere just for plot reasons. It could be executed better.
Arifureta book 10 by Ryo Shirakome i really liked this one it was comedic at points but still had some of the serious notes from the earlier books it was interesting to see kouki being forced to face reality that i liked quite a bit also found Yue's little fight with Shea in the beginning interesting because of the thought that she may fall and die at some point like the rest of her family definitely enjoyed reading this one and look forward to reading book 11.
Continuing on the dungeon that forces introspection, we don't really get anything surprising from this second part but it was still not the worst this series has to offer. The harem bickering doesn't get better now that it includes Shizuku, but I was glad to see Suzu and Ryuutaro getting more time to shine, and even Kouki got somewhat more sympathetic.
The characters are rich, distinctly unique, and charismatic. Making them all endearing to me. I enjoyed the detailed and well choreographed act, and all out powerhouse battles most. But the story was ever fresh; never predictable.
I enjoyed this book. Hopefully it will not be that long before the next one come out. Wonder how they are going to handle everyone, also what the hero going to do.
Magic systems can be extremely complex. World smashing abilities need to be properly handled. This one was done rather well, you can't do everything but you can do enough.
Well they finally make it to the end of the of the last Labyrinth. We get dive a little bit deeper into some of the characters. A lot of growth and cannot wait to read the next one.
You find out more about what drives them, you can see through all the battles the true feelings and finally you get a sincere of what will happen in the upcoming stories. Theirs also one he'll of a twist, that I'd you were paying attention to the story you see coming of not well it'll be even more of a surprise.
We're getting close now. Things are starting to come together so the end is in sight. More exposition on the characters in this book. So, it was worth the wait. But, now I've got to wait for Volume 11! Arggg!
