A kingdom attacked. A princess on the run. A battle for survival.

In Deepwater, Princess Tempest believes her impending marriage to be the worst of her troubles; but when an attack is made on the king, starting a battle for control between the nations of Nyazere, she must flee the only home she has ever known and form new alliances if she is to survive. I write speculative fiction of all kinds. My debut novel Artificial is the first in a futuristic science fiction thriller series that plunges you into a world of artificial intelligence, corruption and rebellion. If you like your adventures a bit more fantastical, then check out my novel Downfall, which features an engaging sword and sorcery fantasy world, filled with battles, backstabbing and morally ambiguous characters aplenty.

Good start to what I hope to be a great series.

The story is told well with exelent character profiles and development. There were a few parts that left me with a desire to know more, and many that kept me reading to find out more.
I hope to see Tempest grow in the next book. I will be greatly disappointed if the story simply has her beating a guy when she is such an amateur. Plus, it is easier for me to fall in love with a character if I can follow them through their journey.
Either way, I look forward to reading it.
