I’m the only person who can save Quinn from the Shadow Magic that’s consuming him, and I’m working as hard as I can to master my new powers, but I can’t do it alone. Unfortunately, Cassius’ jealousy is clouding his ability to help me.
As if that wasn’t enough to deal with, Mystreuce seems to have gone completely haywire. If the three of us can’t work together, then this magical land will spiral into darkness.
With Quinn on his deathbed and Cassius lashing out over a kiss that I should never have given, my only hope is to put my trust in Bree. But she is more than just the Fae she claims to be, and her meddling in the affairs on Mystreuce hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Now, it’s much too late to stop the monster that is coming for her.
Sara Thorn writes dark paranormal romances filled with all her favorite supernaturals. Her series, Marked by Night, is planned for over 30 books. Sara loves all things "geeky fantasy" and spends her free time playing RPG's and browsing the shelves of used bookstores.
Hunted (Marked by Night Book 3) ~~ Hunted took the danger and passion from the first two books and turned it all the way up. Our heroine isn’t just fighting for survival now — she’s fighting for identity, love, and truth. The vampires, hunters, and secrets closing in on her make this book feel like a constant adrenaline rush.
The relationship between her and her love interest deepens but also gets messier — full of jealousy, mistrust, and those fiery moments that make your heart ache. I love that Sara Thorn doesn’t make things easy for her characters; every win comes with a cost.
By the end, I was completely wrecked and had goosebumps. The cliffhanger had me hitting “Next Book” faster than ever.
I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.
These books are really no more than the size of a novella. Which is fine if you understand that from the beginning. The storyline has no great spoilers they are actually pretty expected. The main issue i have had overall is the fact that it lacks a good proofreading. There are many grammatical errors in each book that really are irritating. With a good proofing and repair to the grammatical issues in addition to the author spending some solid time improving the romance and boring lack of sex scenes this series might have really been able to get somewhere.
