A marriage of convenience isn't quite the storybook romance Joy hoped for, but can it still lead to happily ever after?

Making sacrifices for others is nothing new to Joy Carter. She works in a job she's overqualified for in order to provide a home for her sister near the hospital at which she receives treatment. Her social life has taken a backseat to making sure her sister is provided for, and her meager budget is feeling the squeeze from the constantly growing doctor's bills. But when her boss, and former high school crush, offers her a marriage of convenience, she can't help wondering if this is one sacrifice too many.

Craig Fitzgibbon is heir to a successful business, that is if he can get married by thirty. With his grandfather threatening to disinherit him if he doesn't find a wife soon, Craig turns to the one person he is sure won't let him down. Marrying Joy will take care of his grandfather's demands, and he knows he can help ease her financial burden. The question is if she will open her heart to him when she discovers a secret he's been keeping since high school.

A sweet romance filled with holiday cheer and the spirit of Christmas, Joy is sure to warm hearts.

For as long as she can remember, Jessica L. Elliott has been telling stories. As soon as she could grasp a pencil she began writing those stories down. Reading fueled her imagination, as did spending time with her five younger brothers and sisters. Everything was an adventure, something to be treasured and stories were her first love. Jessica began seriously writing in high school and continued into college while attending Emporia State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She wrote and released her first novel, Charming Academy, in August of 2011. Jessica currently lives in southwest Kansas with her husband and family.

This is a wonderful sweet Christmas romance! The MCs completely stole my heart! I did not expect to fall in love with this story, since "a marriage of convenience" in the modern world seems a stretch, but this story was so full of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, and family, immersing myself in it was every bit as satisfying as sipping on hot chocolate while sitting next to a beautiful Christmas tree, listening to my favorite Christmas songs. I will be reading this every Christmas as a new holiday tradition!

This book is a wonderful Christmas romance. I really enjoyed the slow build of romance between the main characters. Definitely a great read.
