I'd told myself I'd never hookup with a man I barely knew again. But here I am, sitting at an airport lounge and looking into the dark eyes of a gorgeous stranger, trying to remember the vow I made.
Nishan is tall, dark, and charming - a perfect recipe for disaster when it comes to my heart.
I just hope he doesn't make me regret giving it to him.
Swati MH is a Texas raised contemporary romance author living in the Bay Area with her very own book husband and two beautiful daughters. When she's not writing stories full of humor, heart, and heartbreak, she's likely thinking about doing so . . . preferably while holding a glass of wine.
I enjoyed this short and quick novella. Emphasize on short because I almost hate that it ended so quickly… Despite it being short the author manages to create characters that have incredible chemistry. Their flirting is cute and not forced. The smut is not too graphic but still hot. I’m guilty that I'm partial to characters who're working on tech. However, the hero is sweet and swoony. I also like how the author squeezes in a believable internal conflict. Unfortunately, this is not a prequel. Once you read this, you'll want more of them for sure. I’m excited to read more from this author!
All I needed in a short story. 😍 This was my first read from this author and I know it will not be the last. I blew through this in one quick read...and was panting for more. This was a satisfying read, though short. I don't usually read stories this short..because I want to really get to know the characters in a book, but I was invested in these two characters in a short time and loved how this played out.
Heated Connection by Swati M.H. is a contemporary romance novella that follows Amelia who is a character originally introduced in Kismet In The Sky.
Swati does an amazing job pulling you into a story. This was a quick read but it still gave you all the feels. I was so happy to get Amelia and Nishan story.
Super cute short story that gave me all the feels! Swati has a knack for making the reader feel like they’re right there. I totally loved it and I’m waiting for more such reads that brighten up my day!
m/f - short story - 4 stars. It's super short about an airport attraction. Steamy, and too short for much else, but I liked it. A couple of really nice lines so I'm looking towards reading the author's debut novel.
