Really enjoyed this book. Contains useful advices from top sales professionals on the matters of career , work environment, technical stuff, attitude & mindset and many others. Also it was pleasant reading about the career paths of the people included. I will certainly periodically reread this book.

A world class compilation of sales knowledge

100 of the world's best and most important sales voices, all contributing a chapter to a compendium of sales knowledge that is essential reading.

The chapters are short and succinct but each one PACKED with useful information, techniques or perspectives that are IMMEDIATELY applicable.

This is the kind of book that you can devour through in a few sittings (it's long - 600+ pages!) or dip in and out of as you require. Keep it in your desk drawer and if you hit a roadblock, need advice or find yourself or your team not being where you need to be, scan the contents or the index for what you're looking for. It'll be there.

Read this book. it really is that good.

This book inspired me. You might think that all “sales” books are the same - but this one is in its own league. It’s easy to read, and actually contains information you’re going to want to write down. If you want to improve your sales and your service or like me are just looking to get inspired - read this book. It lends it self well to team reading too because the expert tips are broken down into mini chapters. But even if you’re just looking for personal development - you must read it. Don’t add it to your list - put it in your cart or better yet download the copy now (the kindle version has social media link to all the sales experts - so even after your done you can keep learning and being inspired by the people you read about). If you do nothing else today - just start reading - it’s an investment in your professional growth.

Let's start by getting the 'not so great' out of the way. First, there are no Sales Secrets and second, at over 600 pages, the author really should have spent a little time thinking about the concept of 'less is more'. On the first point, what the book reveals and underscores from its litany of contributors are basic principles of sales. Those principles are not less impactful because so many people embrace them, they are, to the contrary, hugely important. And hearing them from the myriad (far too many) contributors/subject experts in their different ways underscores their importance. On the second point, If the reader is willing to stick it out, themes will repeat themselves throughout the book and provide clarity in the extreme. That, ironically enough, is the book's strength and its weakness. Packed with good stuff, but requires a lot from the reader.

Excerpts from various sales books- kind of like the 'best of' various authors. Very long, though. Good sampling of different selling methodologies.

Just a sales people circle jerk. Nothin substantial, nothing in depth. Just shallow self-explanatory thoughts every salesperson (or anyone with a decent EQ) would know. Don’t waste your time.
