I've loved every book in the River's WIlde series and I was so excited that they've all been put in one collection. The fact that there is a brand new holiday novella with all of our favorite characters, The Gathering was just icing on the cake!
The Gathering
I loved being back in River's Wilde and getting to see some of my favorite characters celebrate the holidays. I loved getting more of all of them, but I especially loved Remi and Kal's part. I also really enjoyed one of the unexpected chapters we got... this is a must read for anyone who's read the series. And if you haven't, what are you waiting for?
The Legacy
The Legacy is Confidence and Hayes's story and the start of this series.
The romance between Hayes and Confidence was my favorite part of the book, but there was so much more to this story. I loved the drama, the angst, and the twists and the turns. Hayes’ family was much like a soap opera and I couldn’t get enough. I loved the surprises throughout the story and can’t wait to see where some of these revelations take us. The Legacy is a completely captivating, passionate, romantic, steamy, and gripping read. This is one book you don’t want to miss out on.
The Legend
The second book in the series just might be my favorite... it's so hard to choose! I loved Remington and Kalilah so much! Remington Wilde is a sweet soul, has a filthy mouth, and is one of the most romantic heroes ever. That combination was lethal. He was my favorite thing about this book. Kal was a heroine with a lot of strength, determination, and pride. Sometimes her pride got the best of her. Knowing her childhood and past, I understood why she was the way she was. These two were the best kind of pairing. Their chemistry was insane. Steam was rolling off the pages whenever they were together and the sexy times were quality, not quantity, which I always appreciate.
The Jezebel
Stone Rivers might just be my favorite hero of the year and was so extraordinary. This man had so much patience, was sweet, kind, alpha, and just everything all at once. He loved Regan so thoroughly and deeply. It was an all consuming love and you could truly feel how much he loved her and cared. Stone was so devoted and truly magnificent. Regan is a heroine who has been through so much, but my goodness does that woman have a strength like no other deep inside of her. She has so much growth through this book and I adored her. She’s one of those women you want to be best friends with and that make you proud to be a woman. This couple complimented each other so well and made me feel like soulmates really do exist. I felt such a deep connection between them and it was well above and beyond just sexual chemistry. It was a soul deep attachment that couldn’t be denied. What I love most about Dylan Allen’s books is that they’re filled with passion. Who doesn’t want a passionate romance that will completely captivate you? I crave those books that give me all the feels and make me feel like I’m falling in love all over again. The Jezebel is an incredible friends to lovers romance that I fell head over heels with.

Dylan Allen... you're a marvel! If you've read from this author, then you agree. And if you haven't yet, I'm not sure what you're waiting for. She writes beautiful words about incredible characters who have a ring of authenticity you just can't find everywhere. Read her books y'all!

Reuniting with my favorite couples from Rivers Wilde reminded me just how much I loved these couples and their journey! Get your binge on!!!!

Choosing His Legacy
This story was everything I had hoped it would be and more! The author knows how to create an entire world of characters that you want to learn more about and catch up with again. You will get invested in this story and won't want it to end because waiting for the next one is the best kind of torture.
Hayes was a sexy alpha that I couldn't get enough of. First impression was that of a totally, stuck up, entitled jackass! And then you get to see his other side. He's been burned, so he's wary. But when he opens up, he's just EVERYTHING!
Confidence is a sassy lawyer. When she meets Hayes, she's down on her luck. She is out of work, left with a bad reputation because of an ex who did her dirty. But Confidence is resilient, brave and strong. She fights for the rights of the people and always stands up for what she believes! She comes from meager beginnings, but only monetarily. Her spirit and her moral compass are strong. I absolutely adored her.
Confidence is everything that Hayes could ever need. However, his past is weighing on his future. He has no idea how to navigate a relationship or to trust. The obstacles are many, but it's always better together. This story will throw you for a loop and keep you reading late into the night.
Confidence and Hayes are intense. Their chemistry and attraction is HOT!!! I adored their journey and their unrelenting love. I look forward to more of Rivers Wilde. So much more story to be told!

Remington Wilde was bred to lead his family. To run the family business and be legendary in their town. However, Remi had plans of his own!
Kal had her own dreams but getting there was going to be a struggle. She came from meager beginnings and a struggling single mother whose solution was to find a wealthy man.
Two kids who made a lasting impact on one another. They would be in and out of each other’s lives for the next twenty years. This story definitely tore me apart and broke my heart...more than once! But it also made Kal & Remi’s love and their union that much sweeter!
This love story spanned decades and began to develop when they were in middle school. It started as two people who bonded because of their lackluster home life. Our hero Hayes is the kind of leading man I want and need. He's bold, fearless, and not ashamed to take charge. His introduction to our heroine, Confidence, is cray-zay!!! Their chemistry jumps off the pages right away, but the way their relationship progresses is not at all "insta-love". The journey we were taken through with this couple was such a breath of fresh air. Their sexy times had me biting my lip and sneaking pages at work wanting more more more. That dirty mouth on Hayes... Lord have mercy!!
She’s the catch of the century, and she’s mine.
And Confidence, she was a spit-fire from page 1. So strong and demanding, yet she had a delicate side about her that only life-experiences could create. As tenacious as Hayes was, she threw down toe-to-toe with him. She was equally fearless, yet compassionate where it counted.
And the book world that was created in Rivers Wilde was perfection. I want to live there. I wish it were a real place where at least I could go on a vacation to. I can't wait to read more from this community of people and places that were created.

This was one of the most breathtakingly raw stories of love I've ever read! This book delivers such a powerful punch, I know it will stick with me for a long time. It weaves a tale of deep rooted friendship and first love, and tells the tale of how the love of a lifetime, deserves a million chances.
Remi and Kal first meet in their blossoming youth and form a friendship so unique. As a reader, I found myself pinned to the pages, unable to tear myself away from reading about their friends-to-lovers tale. I had butterflies right along with Kal, and felt the desire that built between these two. Their angsty and lust filled summer together truly made me believe in soulmates.
What happens on the pages afterward had my heart in my throat. I tore through the pages, needing to know what happened next. To experience such redemptive love was magical.
And to be honest, it was hot AF. I found myself biting my lip and clenching my thighs at points.
Remi in his youth was cunning and confident. But as a man? He was legendary. A take-charge type of man, both inside and outside of the bedroom. Kal is the type of female lead that I love. She's never had anything handed to her, and handles delicate situations with such grace. Her heart of gold spills from the pages and helps mold Remi into the man he needs to be.
The Legend is a love story that stands the test of time.

Whew! Talk about soul-searching, lust and suspense! I loved this book so much. This is an age-gap where the woman is older than the man. They meet as children, and the foundation of their relationship is built upon their childhood alliance when they were 18 and 10. Their friendship ends as quickly as it began, just as a young Stone Rivers is about to profess his childhood love to Regan Wilde.
When they meet later in life, sparks fly in the best way. Stone is just shy of 30, successful, and still infatuated with Regan. I love how his lust for her screamed out with every page I read. I love the internal thoughts he had of her, his playful way that he challenged her, and the uninhibited way that he loved her. Stone Rivers is my new favorite book boyfriend for 2020!
Regan was living a shell of the life that she was destined to live. After a horrible experience when she was in college, along with a shady family situation, she's fallen into a loveless, exploitive marriage. Her heart, mind, and body are basically screaming for the escape and release that Stone promises her.
I don't think there was ever a doubt that these two were destined to be together. Stone and Regan brought the lust, passion, desire and unequivocal connection of soulmates.
I can't wait to read more about what happens next in this series. The background of the Rivers and Wilde family histories are forming into something exciting and suspenseful. Who's next in line? I'm ready for them!

If you've read The Legacy, The Legend, or The Jezebel, then you'll absolutely love revisiting this Rivers Wilde crew. It's based around a holiday gathering that they're all in desperate need of.
What I loved most about this story was the introduction of Tyson's potential love interest (he's the younger brother/playboy who's fun AF) and Tina's little naughty self getting some good loving. She's the villain through most of the first book, but I grew to love her something fierce.
Hayes and Confidence, Remi and Kal, and Stone and Regan all make spectacular, sexy appearances in the Gathering, and give us a much-needed glimpse into their HEAs.

Wow these are now all in one bumper book!! absolutely fantastic.

My favorite family drama and series all cook up together in one book. The Rivals is a full on collection of the Rivers Wilde series by Dylan Allen.
This books are delicious, intense and so full of passion and desire. Family drama to hook you and make you addicted to this characters. You get The Legacy, The Legend, The Jezebel and The Gathering.
I just literally devoured The Gathering in one sit and it felt soooo good to have all the family together for Christmas. You have all the characters POV while they are getting ready to have a family gathering. You get a bite of their life after their HEA. I love the passion Remi/Kal, Hayes/Condence and Stone/Regan still have. How they can’t be apart because they need each other like air. I love seen this family overcome so much. It felt so good to have more of them and the lives they are leading now with so real dilemas.
Another thing I’m going to say about The Gathering and I can’t believe I’m saying is GOOOOOOOO TINA HOLY SHIT! Omggg guys that was BRILLIANT and Dylan I want her book like NOW. I bet you never see me saying this to you. Also Tyson’s book we must get sooooon.

Fantastic Series
The Legacy is the beginning of a new Series that takes place in Rivers Wilde in Houston, TX.
Dylan doesn't disappoint in this thought provoking, unique story that spans time between the Rivers and Wilde families and their history and secrets.
This story involves Hayes and Confidence who are compelling and relatable characters. I loved how Confidence is strong and true to herself and not ashamed of where she comes from. She is proud of her Southern heritage and her ties to the River near her home town. She is intelligent and self-assured and Hayes is drawn to her not only for her beauty but her feisty nature and her brain! He is leary at first because of his privileged background and that leads to some interesting banter. Their relationship is not only passionate,not to mention H.O.T.! but also one of depth and substance.
Dylan does not disappoint-this is a MUST READ! Kudos to you, Dylan Allen!!

Remi captured my heart, I absolutely loved him! I really liked Kal, too. She was a girl that also made me hope for her and Remi’s destined relationship to progress. I wanted them to be together without the meddling by a certain person that I couldn’t find likable. I have to admit she added intrigue and evoked feelings of frustration from me in this amazing second installment of Rivers Wilde. Another beautiful story told with depth and feeling and realism.

Dylan Allen has managed to weave a tapestry of words that completely enraptured me. I love her writing but this story has become my favorite of hers!
I love Regan and her fortitude and resolve. And I'm absolutely in love with Stone, his commitment and dedication to so many things but in particular his Venus!

The Legacy
Just when I think Dylan Allen's writing can't get any better, she manages to prove me wrong. The Legacy is a fantastic book with an original and engaging plot. As soon as I began reading it, my mind was intrigued and I was anxious to see how the storyline would unfold.
Let me just start off by saying that Hayes and Confidence are one of the sexiest couples I've ever read. Their chemistry was 100% off the charts. I admired Confidence and given the amount of strength she possessed, her name was certainly appropriate. She also had a lot of moxie and was a force to be reckoned with. I fell in love with Hayes immediately as his hot alpha persona and dirty talking was a huge turn on for me. One minute he would say something so dirty and filthy and the next he would make a romantic gesture that completely melts your heart. Trust me, reading both will destroy your panties!! I adored Hayes and Confidence as a couple and their love was genuine, real and passionate. And their sexual relationship was a perfect combination of hot, tantalizing and sensuous moments. Every time they came together (pun intended), I felt like I needed a cold shower and a cigarette!!
And the secondary characters are wonderful and they will definitely have wanting to read more about them, especially Remington. The Legacy exceeded my expectations and coupled with the exceptional plot twist towards the end, it's a definite five star plus book for me.

Dylan Allen is truly an unstoppable and creative genius. The Legend is a flawlessly written masterpiece. The storyline flows effortlessly and everything about this book is still lingering in my mind in such a wonderful way. I was sucked into Remi and Kal’s beautiful love story and I devoured it within hours. Remi invaded my mind, heart and soul. I was intrigued by him in The Legacy and I was beyond thrilled as he turned out to be so much more in this book. Kal’s character was cleverly written, she’s admirable and exudes strength and courage. It was impossible not to feel an immediate connection with these two and their chemistry was off the charts.
The Legend’s plot is emotionally charged, filled with angst and is climatic in more ways than one. I endured a whirlwind of emotions while reading this book. Remi and Kal complimented each other well as their romance was intense, passionate and intoxicating. They made my heart flutter with their flirty behavior and romantic gestures. And the magic they created between the sheets was wild and scorching!!
Another compliment to this book is the shocking plot twists!! It took a few minutes for me to pick my jaw off the ground after reading them. I definitely couldn’t have predicted those secret revelations. This is a definite must read!!

The Jezebel had me addicted from the very beginning and once again, Dylan Allen outdid herself with this beautiful and heartfelt romance. This book can definitely be read as a stand-alone and this series just keeps getting better and BETTER!! It’s unbelievably amazing and just absolute perfection!!
Stone and Regan’s character development is flawlessly portrayed. Although they’re glimpses of them in the The Legacy and The Legend, they peeked my curiosity, I needed to know how their paths crossed and how their relationship came to be. Ms. Allen is a genius when it comes to writing engaging and page turning storylines and this book is no different considering I devoured it within twenty four hours. Regan is a stunning, admirable queen with a heart of gold and incredible strength. Stone is a sexy as sin, smart, tenacious and lovestruck charmer who’s determined to get his queen, no matter what the cost is.
The Jezebel is rich with knowledge, culture, strength, survival and inspiration. It also has just the right amount of angst, drama and jaw dropping revelations. And the level of romance and romantic gestures undid me, had me swooning and made my heart melt. Stone and Regan’s story also ignites so much passion and fire that results in HOT and seductive sexy times. Their chemistry literally leapt off the pages!
I simply can’t get enough of the characters from the Rivers Wilde world and I can’t wait to read more about them.

The Rivals is the complete collection if the Rivers Wilde series and I loved it.
The Legacy is the first book in the series and I was hooked from the start and could not put it down.
This story had heart. It's about two very different people from different walks of life who ended up being everything to each other. The novel was gripping, intense and very well written. The main characters Hayes and Confidence were both flawed and complex, yet Dylan made them so likable that you were rooting for them throughout the story. The chemistry between them was so intense you could feel it jumping off the pages of the novel. The secondary characters provided support and balance to these main characters and the author wrote the book in such a ways that it will leave you wanting to know more about these characters. The story will make you swoon and fall in love. Yet in spite of romance this story had so much woven in it. Intrigue, family secrets, betrayal and more, the novel will shock you with its twists and turns and the HEA ending will make you smile. Dylan Allen was a genius with writing the ending of this novel. A perfectly satisfying conclusion to Hayes and Confidence story, she left a few questions unanswered that will have you anxious for the next book in this series.

This story was gripping and riveting and to say I loved it would be an understatement. It had me hooked from beginning to end and I could not put it down. So much family drama and intrigue, so many secrets and revelations and twists and turns, the plot grabs you and if that's not enough, the characters will have you invested in no time.
I loved Remi and Kal from the start. Inspite of certain circumstances, I love the impact they had on each other's life. I loved the connection and chemistry they had and continued to have throughout the years.
The extended characters all added balance and support to the story and the author wrote this story in such a way you will fell something for all of them whether you want to or not.
This story was told in dual POV and was given in both the past and present day giving us a good understanding of the background and history of the characters.
The Legend is not what you would expect. Its so much more. It's a legendary romance that will tug at your heart-strings. Its a story about mother's love and what she would do for her children, its a story about dealing with love lost. Its a story with so many different aspects to it yet you will love every word, every page, every chapter.

Bonus The Gathering was a perfect way to visit well loved characters and see where they are now. I enjoyed each story from each couple and I am now highly intrigued with Tyson and Dina. Can't wait for their book.

Allen welcomes you to revisit their lives to see how they’ve grown and evolved. And boy does she deliver! My love for all of them has grown exponentially. I’ve unknowingly grown a fondness for some; and have had my curiosity piqued when it comes to others. What a treat! It solidifies the magic that lies in the mind of Dylan Allen. To be able to create characters that leave such an indelible mark on your heart, and leave it to where readers are so excited for a follow up is truly special. I am so grateful for being able to be with them again. I didn’t realize how much I missed them. Reading The Gathering has definitely sparked a need in me to do a re-read of the Rivers Wilde series ASAP!

This author has remarkable way of creating a story that takes the reader on an emotional and spellbinding journey that is full of heartbreak, swoon worthy moments, and hope so I was thrilled when I discovered that the Rivers Wilde series is available as a boxed set with an additional bonus novella! If you are looking for a series that has a superb writing style, engaging storylines complete with twists and turns as well as captivating characters featuring strong female protagonists and delectable heroes, then you definitely want to check out this boxed set!

I really enjoyed this contemporary romance - the characters, the storyline, and the shocking revelations. I couldn’t help but love Confidence because she is just that - confident as well as passionate and fights for what she believes in. Hayes is your rich, good looking hero who is a bit jaded, but he is striving to be a better man. Both characters have great strengths, but they also admit to their flaws which make them seem more real. The chemistry between them is palpable and the two are perfect compliments to each other. The Legacy has a bit of drama, some surprising twists and turns, and a shocking, unexpected revelation - all of which make this book entertaining until the very end.

Rivers Wilde is one of my favorite worlds so it’s awesome that Dylan Allen introduces all 3 books as a collection, along with a brand new holiday novella. The Gathering revisits our favorite couples, Hayes and Confidence, I had serious thing for Hayes but when Remi stepped in with Kal, I remember why I became obsessed with Remi. Remi is my dream boat. I loved The surprise that Kal blessed Remi with, they are so deserving. When I read Tina story, I was surprised but literally I was like ‘get it girl’. Stone and Regan, yessssss to Regan dirty mouth again and still being sex maniacs in love.
The Gathering is the perfect holiday romance novella filled with all warm things, families experiencing beautiful blessings, wonderful surprises, lots of love and more importantly family getting together. The Gathering was absolutely everything I didn't know I needed! (there might have been a couple of happy tears) It felt so good visiting that world again and for the characters to get another HEA. So happy for each and every character and I can't wait for Dina and Tyson already!!!!!! I'm really hoping Jesse gets a book too. Also, can we please get a Rivers Wilde next gen series! I neeeedd them to get their own books, especially Martinez.

The Legacy brings drama, heat, and passion. The chemistry between Confidence and Hayes is powerful. Ms. Allen did a wonderful job of building the world of Rivers Wilde with great detail and fun side characters. These two fiery characters faced some twists and turns to reach their HEA. This is an angsty read that makes me wonder what other adventures await me in Rivers Wilde.

This mystery is a catalyst that starts our hero and heroine on a path of self discovery and eventually back to one another. The relationship between Remi and Kal is one that spans decades. The bond that Remi and Kal first form as teenagers is galvanizing and magnificent. When that bond is fractured it alters the trajectory of their lives in both brilliant and heartbreaking ways. The journey these two endure is awe-inspiring. As Remi says "the love of a lifetime deserves a million chances."

The Jezebel was an enrapturing read. The characters and connection between them was effervescent. I loved every second of this love story. There was friendship, longing, angst, and passion in spades. I was hooked from the first page and relished every word that Ms. Allen artfully crafted into fruition.

Plot saved this from being a 2 star
This is my first book/boxset from this author and let me preface this review by saying that this author knows exactly how to write a 5star book. This boxset has angst, drama, sex, plot twists and great character development. All the things I love in a book.
Now for the real review that makes this boxset a 2 star.
The timeline of these books are all over the place. When reading these books nothing is consistent. In ‘The Legacy’, Hayes is 14 and Remi is 18 when they meet therefore, making them 30 and 34 respectively as adults. Then in ‘The Legend’, Remi is 18 and Kal is 17. However, when they meet again, Kal says she’s 31 but this timeline happens months after Hayes meets Confidence...so is Remi now 32? Kal says her daughter is 7 turning 8 but in the next chapter (only a week of being in Houston) she tells Remi her daughter is 9. In ‘The Jezebel’, Regan & Remi are twins...this book takes place the same time Remi and Kal reconnect and Regan says is 36? Regan also mentions that Tyson her brother is 4 years younger. Remi claims their Dad died when he was 2...so was Tyson conceived through immaculate conception? And Stone is 4 years younger than Hayes but during this book he’s 28 and not 26? This is just a few of the inconsistencies I found.
Plus, on top of the never aligned timeline of these characters, I found grammar errors in every single chapter e.g. “...they book look happy as pigs in mud” “...reached over to snap my before I stand...”
I know as an author it takes a team and personally, I think your team failed you because these grammar mistakes should have been caught in the draft and not have it published with a multitude of mistakes.
I have hope for this author because she is a pretty great story teller.

Revisiting once in a lifetime loves
So I have all the books individually. This review is only gonna be about the bonus book "The Gathering".
I've enjoyed reading about this interconnected family. Each of these couples have been through the ringer. This bonus story allows you to catch up with them, see how their futures look and a sneak peak to what is coming with Tyson and Dina. I did find quite a bit of typos unfortunately, the prenote states it's basically an early version, but there were a fair amount of them. It was interesting getting Tina Wilde's side of things. Nice little bonus.

I loved the Gathering
I have read and re read all the books in Rivers Wilde. I was super happy to see each of the couples for the holidays Stone & Regan, Hayes & Confidence and Remi & Kal. Most of all a sneak peak into Tyson and Dina. Not mention Tina getting her happy ending !!! Thank you Dylan Allen for writing and sharing our favorite couples in Rivers Wilde. I enjoyed every word. I realised early on I had read the first book but reread as I knew the follow on books were in this collection. It's not a great story but I did enjoy it overall as the level of belief (they are all pretty loaded) is somewhat tempered by the characters inner workings.
The biggest impact tho was the amount of sex in it! Some a tad too far fetched for me (on a bus FFS!) but a good fun read overall

The Rivals
I read all the books in this series so far. I loved reading The Gathering. It was nice to be able to read about all the brothers and sister again and get caught up in there lives again. Looking forward to reading more of the family. Great job Dylan.

This book is what you look for your whole life as a reader, and when you find it, it's like you can finally take a deep breath!!!
I devoured this collection, and I am not mad about it. I don't think I can ever truly understand what Dylan Allen's writing is made of aside from pure genius!
The characters are complexed, like a Russian doll, and no one does it better.

I love to see real representation of my hometown in different ways and Dylan does this successfully with each Rivers Wilde release. I truly enjoyed this novella on my favs.

This is a fantastic series by Dylan Allen. She creates a world with the legacy of 2 families that have shaped the lives of each of the main characters. The stories are woven together in many unexpected ways. Each story addresses a social issue and demonstrates an issue that is a current issue. Each one is steamy and every HEA is exquiste.
