A fun and empowering read for parents who do not speak Mandarin who are trying to expose their kids to Mandarin at any early age. The audio book supplement is a must, but together they can really get kids on their way. It makes teaching our toddlers a little less intimidating! And, yes, our kids love the illustrations and that they can finally guess the Mandarin words on WordParty. #ReadYourWorld

🌸First Mandarin Sounds is a totally amazing beginners guide to pronunciation in Mandarin Chinese.
🌸It ticks all of my boxes for a great resource for my homeschooling, non- native speaking, learn as you go, Mandarin classes! Amanda Hsiung- Blodgett, in her own unique way brings words and learning to life.
🌸I think people of all ages would be helped with their Mandarin Lessons from this book, and love it!
🌸The illustrations are engaging and fun! If you are adding one new resource for your beginning Mandarin journey, for any age, this is the one I would suggest!
