She’s an orphan that knows nothing about the world she’s being thrown into. He’s a powerful King and in charge of training her for the upcoming war.

Arabella is counting down the days until she turns eighteen and can escape the horrible home she grew up in. Her goal is simple- don’t cause any problems; stay under the radar until she turns eighteen and can be free of that horrible place. That plan goes out the window on the day of her eighteenth birthday.

The day she turns eighteen, King Ryder shows up and tells her she’s a telepath and part of an ancient prophecy. Oh, and she bears his true marks. He wants her to come live at the castle so he can train her for the upcoming war. She doesn’t believe him. That is until she notices strange markings on her body and hears voices in her head.

Arabella reluctantly agrees and leaves behind everything she’s known to move to the castle to train. Soon, she’s is in it so thick, she can’t see to make her way anymore. The only thing that keeps her grounded is the steady presence of Ryder at her side. But when he disappears, Arabella risks losing herself altogether.

Arabella has spent her entire life going at it alone, but now for the first time, Arabella has people who care about her. It’s time for Arabella to unite with Gwin, Zalia, and Raven and the powerful first-borns. First, they need to get Ryder back; then they need to prepare to fight. There’s a war coming, and her power is the only thing that can turn the tide. It’s time to finish this.

Don’t miss this epic conclusion to the True Marks series!

SO DISAPPOINTING

For those of you who have been following my reviews, I did not bother to do one for the 3rd book because, quite frankly, it just followed book number 2; a myriad of errors caused by poor proofing and poor editing.

Unfortunately, once again in this 4th book, the storyline continued to be wonderful; however, the errors in this book were actually far greater. Wrong names, wrong pronouns, extra words that made no sense, words that were left out and many many uses of the right pronouns, even errors in time frames on the same page or paragraph. It was extremely distracting and made reading the story very difficult.

Again, especially if you have made it through the previous three books, I highly recommend a storyline that is creative, full of drama, even humor that will bring a smile or a chuckle. So sad, that such a talented author has such poor proofreading and editing.

Although some of the books in this series merited a three star rating, this last one was a pain to read. In many ways the story is a canned repeat of the previous books in the series. Although AJ Manney sketches each guy character in a different way so that you anticipate encountering each character throughout the series, I felt that Reid's character was not as well developed as it could have been. The story seems to be more plot driven than character driven. I think some of the author's plot choices get in the way of the characters. For example, Arabella's attitude toward Reid quickly changes from defiance to a desire for relationship with him. When Reid returns Arabella acts sad that they don't have the same relationship they used to have. . . But they hadn't really developed a relationship yet. So the book largely skips over any relationship building.

Not sure yet how I feel. It didn’t have a big climax it felt a lot like the first few books. Dungeons/captured, death, and loosing.

Also the seer wasn’t seeing anything? Why. Felt like Arabella was willy nilly making a rushed plan.

The end was sweet and this one had less errors.

No cursing and only kissing (not very descriptive). Mentions of marriage bed at the end.

Ryder and Adair’s felt the same to me

Quotes

I would risk the entire realm collapsing if I knew it would keep you safe.”

I love you more than I ever thought possible. You stormed into my life and wreaked havoc. You turned everything upside down, and I haven’t been the same since. You make my life better just by being in it.

“If you two are done, we have a war to fight; but no pressure or anything. Take your time,” Adaire said wryly.

I have read all of these books !! They were good some more then others, but mostly good enough that I wanted to keep reading!

But this one !! I loved 😍
We saw a little of a different side of Ryder and this book and I LOVED that Arabella did give him a inch!! And kept him on his toes !! One thing I really like about this series is Yes they are True Marks and ment to be together but it's never instant Love! Yes there is that instant like Protectiveness that's there , but I really think that in this book it really explains it well what a true mark is, and how even though he knew it was her!! He still got to try and know her and how he explained that even if it wasn't for the marks he still knew that she was the one for him !! its was the better out of the series for me!!.

Great end to the series! I got a little teary eyed when the action got intense towards the end because it truly takes everyone united to defeat the darkness (there's a beautiful spiritual truth to that).
The romance between Ryder & Arabella was sweet (I especially loved the way it started out).
I love the romance best in these stories, and think that with all the bad messages in books these days, these books are hitting the mark (pun intended).
The mmc in each book has a true mark. She's the ONLY one for him. He's not looking around at other women, or bragging about women he's been with (because he waits his life for her). THIS is also a spiritual truth, and a godly model for marriage that I believe is good for young girls to read🩷. *no language *closed-door *not a paid review

THANK YOU!

This story definitely was redemptive to the previous installment. The prior book I reviewed as almost unnecessary. There was no real action and tons of words. But this book main character had a full life and experience prior to meeting up with her faded mate. The story and action continued, and the characters introduced all were woven throughout the entire story instead of just one portion as the previous installment. I loved this book and I’m so glad I went ahead and read it despite book number three disappointment to me.

True Marks series

I loved this whole series! I read each book a day and as soon as I finished one I started the next. I have several of your series and loved them, too. I love the way each couple has grown together and I have so much respect and admiration for your creative and well-crafted work.

this was a good series. unit was YA and sometimes it was a bit much but the story was good. also the writing kinda bugged me and there were some typos . but there was lots of action. the bonding thing with the body mark’s was sometimes a bit much and Ryders feelings toward Arabella were overboard while she couldn’t understand any of it for a long time.

I have read this series and can't put the books down. I was sucked into each character and loved getting more involved with all the details. I want to go back and reread the series and enjoy the books all over again.

Good vs Evil Book4

Really enjoyed this series. Glad to know that there will be more stories in this series. This story had a few twists and most characters might have survived. We did lose a few characters. Anyway get the books and leave your reviews.

Best Ending book

Wow so much happened and I loved every single word. The four connected and did what needed to be done. I loved the action and other parts. What I did want was more for the wedding and the ending.

Another Rollercoaster of unexpected turns

Wow, what can I say about this tale? Love has such a strange way of building. Ryder's & Arabella's love story sure is an adventure. The fear, longing, frustration, tenderness, and heartbreak keep you turning the pages.

Good series

The whole series was good but needed some editing in the first books. The last book was pretty awesome with a good conclusion. Very light on the romantic parts.
Worth a read.
