Interwoven characters and a fascinating setting connect the stories, drawing the reader into this remarkable corner of north-west England in the twentieth century.

Great read
This is the next book in the series by Ruth Sutton. Set in Cumbria, you can see, hear and smell the sea and countryside. The pace is good and the storyline is believable. Worth every cent! Thanks Ruth for a lockdown special.
