One night. Seven couples. A Christmas they’ll never forget.
Jingle Bell Rock features seven couples from across the Ella and Brooke universe, all coming together in one story to bring you joy, happiness, and a little Christmas cheer.
Ella Frank is the USA Today Bestselling Author of the Temptation series, including Try, Take, and Trust and is the co-author of the fan-favorite Preslocke series. Her Prime Time series has been praised as “highly entertaining!” and “sexy as hell!”
A life-long fan of the romance genre, Ella writes contemporary and erotic fiction. Some of her favorite authors include Tiffany Reisz, Kresley Cole, Riley Hart, J.R. Ward, Erika Wilde, Gena Showalter, and Carly Philips.Ella is represented by:
Jingle Bell Rock is a must-read for fans of Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank, and all of the sweet, sassy, and deliciously sexy characters they’ve bought to readers across the larger BRELLA universe.
Seriously, with a group this awesome, Jingle Bell Rock definitely is the cross-over story to end all cross-overs, featuring seven of Brella’s most iconic and beloved couples, as they come together for one hell of an epic holiday charity event, that will leave an impact on every single one of them.
If you’ve ever enjoyed a book by these two, whether they write together or solo, chances are this holiday novella will light a spark in your heart and put a smile on your face this Christmas season. This was fandom fun, pure and simple—a love letter to not only the fans of Brooke and Ella’s characters but to the characters themselves.
With that in mind, due to the story’s crossover nature, I highly suspect this will only work well for those already well-versed in Brooke’s AND Ella’s books. I don’t believe a background knowledge is necessary for every single couple/thruple or character—I myself still haven’t had a chance to read Panther and Solo’s trilogy yet—but I’m fairly sure readers will want to be familiar with many of these characters and couples for the story and the multiple relationships (not just romantic relationships) to make sense.
As far as my own enjoyment is concerned, I had an absolute blast reading this story. From Logan’s pouting about plane travel, to Ace Locke breaking Robbie’s brain with his face, to Priest ice-skating, to Halo stunning everyone to their core with his voice, to Trent’s epic save of the night, and, finally, with a very, very special and unexpected (but suspected) public gesture from Viper, this story had so many joyous moments for fans to curl up and melt in.
It’s the stuff happy endings beyond the happy endings are made of and I’m so very glad Brooke and Ella decided to bless their Brella’s with such a positive, romantic and life-affirming story for the holiday season. It’s certainly a nice way to round out quite the crappy year.
What an amazing idea Brooke and Ella came up with this year! Bringing seven of their most beloved couples back in one little Christmas novella! And here's how that works ... Hollywood Star Ace is throwing a huge Christmas charity concert/event in Los Angeles and all our darlings will be there! Lawyers, bartenders, chefs, models, pilots, tattoo artists, rock stars et cetera. We know them all and we love them all. And if you don't know them - or missed some stories - the blurb shows you which series which couples are from! READ THOSE STORIES!!
♥ ADORABLE ♥
This book was just sooo cute. Funny and christmasy and sweet and romantic and sparky and just adorable. I loved it! I just loved the whole idea of bringing all our darlings back for this little Christmas moment. Amazing! The perfect little holiday story! Without snow this time - because ... California! ☺
Perfect story to read on a snowy afternoon with a mug of hot chocolate! (And on any other day too. You can read it by the pool if you want to!☺)
Jingle Bell Rock brings Brooke Blaine's and Ella Frank's characters together for one story to get us in the holiday spirit. Seeing characters that I've already fallen in love with was really fun and I was even introduced to a few that I haven't gotten to know yet which made me want to go and read their story. All the little snippets we got of the characters were really cute and I found myself laughing and smiling most of the time.
I will say that the beginning was a little iffy and I found it hard to follow the constant jumping POV's at times since there were so many characters. But overall I was able to get into the story and I loved all the characters coming together.
ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.
this was even better than I thought it would be :) such a fun little christmas-y bonus that includes some of the couples I adore from this duo of authors :) you don’t have to know all of them, but it will definitely be better if you know most :) it was fun and surprising in the best possible way… the whole little novella feels like the warmest of hugs that will bring the biggest smile on your face :) if you are a fan of the stories these couples come from, this is a must read, especially around this time ;)
Jingle Bell Rock is pure Christmas joy. Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine give us one heck of a special night featuring beloved couples from a few of their series and I had a grand old time hanging with this incredible crew.
I loved that we not only got to 'reminisce' a bit with these sexy beasts but I was thrilled to see that they continue to be the randy group they always were. The humor is sharp, the true appreciation for significant others is both touching and adorable and the love that is apparent throughout the entire story is simply wonderful. These are characters who have gone through plenty of ups and downs in their journeys to happiness and can now truly enjoy the pleasure simply by being near those they adore.
You don't necessarily need to know the 'backstories' of each of these love affairs, but I can bet it'll make many want to go back and reread or discover for the first time just how each fell for their partner(s).
Frank and Blaine write seamlessly together once more and this spectacular holiday bonus is a true gift to their faithful fans who will never tire of reading about these great characters.
I laughed and swooned and fell hard for this crazy good adventure and is the perfect respite from all the madness out in the world today. The use of a charity event as the reason for everyone getting together worked really well and I enjoyed myself just as much as they did.
Jingle Bell Rock is a smile-fest from beginning to end and I happily give it a sweet 5 stars!
What a delightful holiday revisit to some of our fave couples between these two.
A lot of the couples written by these two ladies, together and apart, come together at a charity event Ace is having in LA, and it's an opportunity to see some of our fave couples one more time, at least, and see them happy and settled and as in love as ever.
I somewhat skipped over some of the couples I didn't read/didn't know that well, but even with that skipping, I didn't miss anything really by doing so, so if you also wish to skip parts, you totally can.
My favorite couples to see were of course Tate and Logan, as well as Viper and Halo and Ace & Dylan. Mostly they're all just having a good time, but for one couple we get to see an engagement and it is wonderful and I loved it.
It does get a tad much at times to keep switching from one POV of a character of one couple to another, and then to another character of another couple, there was just a lot of jumping around, so it was a little disorienting for me at times.
But other than that, this is enjoyable and fun and a nice little holiday treat, to come back to some of our fave couples once again. So overall, two thumbs up from me! <3
Have you ever read a Christmas book and it made you feel like you were coming home for the holidays? Jingle Bell Rock by Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine was that book for me!! I have only read two of these series both by Ella Frank and that is the Temptation Series and the Confessions Series, but it felt like being back with your family after a long time away.
I read both the Temptation and Confessions series this year and they were all such incredible stories I felt like I was really pulled into the lives of all these guys and being back with them even briefly was so incredible to me. I've never felt like that before with a short story or novella, so it was really a good feeling.
Featuring in this beautiful story ↓ Logan & Tate (Temptation Series) Ace & Dylan (Preslocke Series) Viper & Halo (Fallen Angel Series) Robbie, Julien, & Priest (Confessions Series) Panther & Solo (Elite Series) Shaw & Trent (South Haven Series) Paige & Dawson w/Ryleigh (LA Liaisons Series)
Now that I have read this novella, I am going to read the other five series that I have not been able to yet and even though I haven't read them I was not confused at all. This would be a great Christmas story regardless if you have read none, one or all the series in my opinion. Obviously, the more you have read the more of a back story you will understand.
I hope this isn't the last I have seen of Logan, Tate, Priest, Julien and Robbie!! Next year I am going to re-read this book after I have read more of the series and see if I can pick up on things I might not have in this book. Such a great Christmas story of friends, lovers and sexy rock stars!!
Ohh!! How I missed my boys! This is the most amazing reunion of all my favorite couples. The best crossover of all the crossovers! And the best christmas present ever! All the stars for my beloved authors! ---------- The wait is over!
---------- My favorite couples are together. And also it's Christmas time!! I can't wait to read it!!
O.M.G. you guys! Jingle Bell Rock was just what the doctor ordered for getting me into the holiday spirit! Seriously, 2020 has been a constantly burning dumpster fire since February and this book really helped slap some fun back into my life.
Catching up with some of my favorite characters was such a blast. I love how the stories and viewpoints of Shaw and Trent, Logan and Tate, Dylan and Ace, Page and Dawson and Ryleigh, Robbie, Julien and Priest, and Panther and Solo were interwoven into the Jingle Bell Rock storyline and remained true and realistic.
I read it all in one sitting and my only wish is that it was longer. I wanted to spend more time with everyone. Thank you for bringing some Merry to Christmas, ladies. ~ Missy, 5 stars
I CANNOT Y'ALL. A NEW STORY WITH TATE AND LOGAN AND ROBBIE AND PRIEST AND JULIEN AND DYLAN AND ACE AND ALL THE SNARK, SASS, INNUENDOS, AND LOVE!
OK. I'm calm. I'm mostly calm. (I'm clearly not calm as I just typed "clam" twice)
Anyway. I never thought we'd get more with two of my all-time favorite couples/throuples and to get them ALL hanging out with each other and giving each other crap and and relentless teasing and all the innuendos! OMG I am in heaven after reading this story.
Ella and Brooke wanted to give their readers some happiness after the dumpster fire that is 2020. And getting to see Tate and Logan all married up, and Robbie, Priest, and Julien also all married and happy just makes me endlessly happy.
I don't know ALL of the couples in this story - the ones written solely by Brooke I don't think I know, but that doesn't hinder my enjoyment of so many book worlds colliding. I absolutely LOVED THIS.
1-Tate and Logan 2-Ace and Dylan 3- Priest, Julian and Robbie 4- Halo and Viper 5- Trent and Shaw 6- Solo and Panther.... .
Also.... Tate and Logan! All in the same place, with lots of kissing and groping. And a Surprise!
Tate and Logan were my very first MM book. it was that book which changed my whole reading experience and shifted my reading from MF romance to exclusive MM romance. That was years ago, so they have a special place in my heart. until now, they are one of my favorite MM couples ever and I reread/listen to them often.
Preslocke was my second... and Ace and Dylan are probably my second face couple of Ella's. I loved revisiting these couples... it felt like coming home.
I have loved all of the series this Christmas story comes from ! LOVED THIS !
Wow ! This short story is fantastic, and a really fun tale that holds our attention ! We see characters we are happy to find again, still in love, and doing well.
I loved these awesome characters, the beautifully written story, and the excitement it leads up to.
The concert is fabulous, and we feel like we are there. This truly rocks!
I read this purely for Robbie, Priest and Julien. Man do I love those three. I didn’t love every book in that series but I loved the trio if that makes sense. So of course I had to see what they were up to at Christmas and they didn’t disappoint. Sassy Robbie, stern Priest and sexy Julien. 😍
I’m not sure how to rate this though because I ended up skimming or skipping most of the parts without them. So I’m leaving it unrated. I hadn’t read any of the other series in whole and many of them not at all. Logan and Tate were entertaining. I’ve only read two books in their series and don’t know that I’ll ever go back and finish them. But they are fun to see in small doses. I’ve only read one book in the series with Halo and Viper. It wasn’t for me so I skimmed theirs too. I did find myself enjoying Ace and Dylan so I may have to check one of those out soon. These authors are hit or miss for me. The rest of the couples I skipped.
This is low steam and no angst. Just a holiday treat. It will be best enjoyed by fans who read all of the different series. But I still found enough to enjoy with my favorite trio. 😉
I always say that I can never get enough of Brooke and Ella's couples - and this Christmas anthology gave me just enough from 7 couples to feed my need.
Jingle Bell Rock was a wonderfully delightful tale that he a smile on my dial the whole time I was reading (well, except for the few tears I may have shed. Bah, who am I kidding, I smiled then too!) I really loved getting more of my Logan - yes Tate, mine. I claimed him while you were dithering around when you first met! You just need to dive in to this book, and immerse yourself into all the goodness.
Aaaand now I need to go read all these books again.
2.75 stars Read it only for Logan and Tate who will always have a special place in my heart. But there was barely a story here... Ella Frank's books' fans would probably love it though.
A lot of moving parts. More of a snapshot life of a rock band. No relationship building...it's more like after the honeymoon phase. Settled down, and grabbing their choices.
This was a fun read reconnecting with some old and new friends at the Christmas Jingle Rock Ball.
While reading this I had a big smile on my face.
A perfect way to spend a few hours.
I also discovered I have missed out on a couple, I did not realise that Trent Knox had his own book before the Fallen Angel series. I will be reading "A Little Bit Like Desire" Trent and Shaw's story early next year.
This is pure Jingly Christmas bliss. Ace Locke is throwing a Christmas Jingle Ball charity event and a lot of Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine's characters are attending.
This was a fun, quick read of holiday fun and revisiting some of my favorite couples for one night! It was so cool how Ella and Brooke tied all the couples together, but each one had their own, unique twist to the story! If you’re looking for a fun, quick holiday read that’ll put a smile on your face, this one is it!
i knew about 4/7 of the couples so it was a bit confusing figuring out which character was from what story but it was pretty fun catching up with those i already knew
tate/logan - as sexy and funny as ever. julien/robbie/priest - could've used a bit more page time but i liked the prank they played on robbie. still don't feel much for julien. ace/dylan - very cute! probably my favorite couple 🤔 halo/viper - lovely surprise at the end! so happy for them ✨
JINGLE BELL ROCK by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine. The crossover event to end all crossovers – truer words have never been spoken. O-M-GAH! What these two favorites of mine came up with here … I’m still tingling all-over, smiling from ear to ear. My cheeks still hurt from that cheesy grin that doesn’t want to leave my face, all while my eyes still sting from (mostly) tears of happiness. Beautiful. Cute. Adorable!
So many favorite characters all huddled together at one place – it felt like catching up with old friends. Robbie, Julien Priest, Panther, Solo, Viper, Halo, Shaw, Trent, Ace, Dylan, Paige, Dawson, and, my absolute favorite couple of all time, Logan & Tate! Getting a glimpse of these two alone made me so happy I could cry. They got six – SIX! – books to tell their story and I still continue to crave more … it’s insane.
This event is happening all thanks to Ace Locke, Hollywood Star extraordinaire, organizing a huge Christmas charity, inviting all the rock stars, tattoo artists, models, lawyers … you get the drift.
If you know these characters, you’ll love catching up with all of them, but even if you don’t, I’m pretty sure you’ll want to get to know them on a deeper level afterwards.
Awe, this was a nice holiday treat visiting some of our regular cast favorites. I think Robbie stole the show when he met Preslocke Ace and Dylan, it was so funny.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I wasnt familiar with a few of the characters in this but I really enjoyed it anyway! I'll take any chance I can get to catch up with Tate and Logan and Robbie, Priest and Julien. Wished their parts were longer. (or the whole book lol)
