Vivan Parasher has built everything in his life up to this day. When he will finally get his revenge for his beloved Sonia's death. Even to destroy Divyant professionally and financially is not enough. Then he meets the beautiful sister of his nemesis, a spitfire of a yoga teacher, Pari Chand. And Vivan knows what he must do. You'd think it would be a cakewalk. After all, Vivan holds all the cards. But Pari knows how to push back too. She's more than a match for Vivan, though she's going to have to pick her battles - if she has to help save her brother. For Vivan, there's no scope for remorse or guilt, because he's convinced that Pari is no different from her brother. It's only when he slips the ring on Pari's finger that Vivan starts to realise he may have been wrong. Will the fire of hate burn out the sparks of desire that light up every time Pari and Vivan are together? The power keeps shifting and soon it all goes topsy-turvy. For when has the path of love or hate ever been straight? But one thing it sure is and that is - it is fire hot at every bend and twist in the tale. The plot of the book is quite interesting, almost filmy with revenge, love and power coming into play. The concept of love as a powerplay is something that is always interesting, and add to it Milan’s penchant for storytelling and you have got yourself a winner. The plot is well crafted with the storyline following a pattern and the characters behaving the way they should be. Based primarily in Delhi, with some parts in Mumbai, the painful pasts of Divyant, Pari and Vivan are quite distinctive, yet similar to one another. With this past, Milan has also shown that despite someone’s pasts, a person can turn out differently, only if they make one different choice. Pari and Vivan’s relationship is steamy, yet the physical intimacy is a very small part of their tale, and the emotional connect they develop is something I adored about this book. Told simply, the story should be read both with the message that is said directly, as well as the underlying message that the book tries to convey. The climax was well drafted, and the cyclic nature of the plot got me floored.

Coming to the characters, Pari as a character did stun me with the powerful as well as the gentle side of her coming to the fore at multiple points in the book. The yoga teacher who is calm and composed on the outside, with a storm inside her was a pleasure to read. As her story unveils itself, she comes out as a character that derives her power from her emotions and the strong emotional connect she has with the people she cares about. Vivan was another piece of the story that presents conflicting images and it took some time for his arc to take a certain path, and I believe that is what set this book apart from the other books in this genre. There are grey shades to his character that add the spice, but at the same time, there is a gentlemanly demeanor that makes him an enigmatic person to read about. I would have loved to see a bit more about Divyant and probably a bit more of his life choices.

Vivan Parasher, one of the top ten billionaires in the US returns to his hometown Delhi, to extend his empire, but more importantly to avenge the death of his beloved Sonia — the only person he could call family in this world. His target is Divyant, the brat who snatched Sonia’s life, and Vivan had been planning meticulously for the past many years to bring down Divyant — financially and emotionally.

As Vivan goes about implementing his plan, he encounters the estranged sister of Divyant, the feisty yoga teacher — Pari Chand. As Vivan tries to use Pari to avenge loss of Sonia, to give Divyant a dose of his own medicine, will he be able to reach his goal without getting mesmerized by the charm of Pari?

This is a revised version of the book ‘The Love Asana’, published as a paperback a few years back. This is the second book from the author Milan after ‘Our Song’ which I read last year and loved it. ‘Head Over Heels’ lived up to my expectations and more — the story gathers pace with Vivan meeting Pari as a new student in her yoga studio and sparks fly from their first meeting. Their conversations are filled with wit and reflect the innate character of each of them. There are not many characters and the narration is racy and keeps the reader entertained till the end.

The chemistry between the protagonists is smoking hot making it the highlight of the story. The romance and passion between Vivan and Pari is well balanced by their emotional sides as they battle their past demons. The varied emotions of loss, pain, revenge and love are woven well by the author making these characters real and endearing. Also, the author succeeds in slowly building up the emotional connect between them and narrating how real love happens between two contrasting individuals. I loved how Pari stands her ground in front of the mighty and vivacious Vivan, how her profession as a yoga instructor is showcased as part of her being and not just a prop for the story.

This is one cozy love story with layered characters, romance that is intense and an overall entertaining read. Highly recommended!

Though previously written as The Love Asana- the first Mills and Boon to be penned by an Indian author, this book is a total refurbished one. The story not only revolves around a planned revenge, but also talks about many other things, like sibling love, loss, consent within marriage and loyalty.
The characters are realistic as are their emotions. I loved Pari’s strength and her love for her brother and also Vivan’s love for his sister.
The plot has been developed well and the story moves at a fast pace. The language is simple and the descriptions are detailed.

The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart.” — Helen Keller

Lovely Cover, Apt Title & Beautiful narration is the strength of this novel.
The plot revolves around Vivian, Pari & Divyant. Vivan who returns from US to his hometown Delhi to avenge the death of his sister Sonia — his only family. His only motive is to bring down Divyant, who was Sonia’s lover & responsible for Sonia’s death. But he wanted Diyvant emotionally also to make him feel what he had gone through. To implement his plan he drags Pari, Divyant’s younger sister in his revenge game. Little did he know in process of hurting Divyant & Pari, he will equally suffer.
On the other hand Pari accepted Vivan with all His flaws. Mistakes And imperfections but could not accept the fact that he married her just to take revenge. Vivan had thought that he would remain unscathed when Pari goes away from his life closing all the doors for a second chance forever, he becomes a broken soul. She had bewitched his body and soul.

“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”

Vivan frantically searched for Pari but she was not ready to give him a chance. Read to find out will Vivan be able to forgive Divyant for Pari’s love.
Both the protagonists were madly in love with each other but not ready to confess. Vivan such a strong character melted down to vulnerable lover & Pari was besotted with him with all his imperfections.

While story is predictable since beginning but Milan has beautifully narrated the story with a new kind of appeal. You will irrevocably fall in love with this story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For Milan.

Good read

This is my first read from the author and I liked it. The writing is really good and attractive. The plot is nicely written. The story has all the emotions in it, passionate romance, hurt, anger, love, betrayal and lots more. The chemistry between pari and vivan is wonderful. Both have their own miserable past yet they discovered their bond of love with so many ups and downs. Overall a good read.9
Do read it guys. Recommended.
