I've spent my whole life in search of unicorns. When I was a kid, I got lost in the snow. I would have frozen to death if not for something strange, a unicorn that brought me home. Despite years of therapy and doubt from all sides, I know that he's still out there. That's why I've spent my whole life trying to find evidence of unicorns. I was just about to lose all hope when I saw him again. He came back and swept me away into his realm known as the Aether, and it turns out that he shifts into a sexy man who claims that I'm a Goddess, a rare human with three mythical fated mates. As I'm brought into this world that's darker than it first seems, I find myself falling for several supernatural beings. Flynn, the unicorn shifter who first rescued me, Cassius, an angel with a dark past, and Rowan, a mysterious man with eyes the color of midnight. Now that I'm here, though, this magical realm is thrown off-balance. Alongside my men, I must discover what darkness plagues the Aether. If I don't, this whole new world will disappear. And so will we. Join Amara and her mates in Alexis Pierce's stunning new series in an all new world.
I loved the imagination of the author to come up with this story of a magical world. Also, appreciate the creation a female lead character who is a "goddess" on the spectrum and who is also not portrayed as looking like a Victoria Secret model. I'm also very grateful that I came across a recommendation of this series on Kindle Unlimited at the right time, to go right into book 2, but will read it slower, before part 3 comes out later this year. I'd recommend this series to anyone who is looking for quicker reads, in between long book reads for a break.
Overall I enjoyed the concept of the story. Unfortunately I found the female main character to be annoying, although it was good to have her deal with anxiety and panic attacks. I found the ending was rather abrupt.
This book was so good . I just hope there’s more background in the next book. I can’t believe Cassius was being all bipolar on her especially with everything she’s been through. Rowan was way too forward way too quick 🤦🏽♀️ . I love Flynn he’s so sweet I absolutely love his character he’s my favorite 😉. Amara is one strong chick having to deal with what she did , but that ending 🤯 I can’t wait for book 2

I liked the story and the setting of the magical world as well as a fmc that’s on the spectrum, I’ve never read a book like that so far but I hope to see more like it. The only problem I’ve had is the book needs to be reformatted for the kindle, I read on the paper white and for some reason the text is a grey instead of black and it really strains the eyes. I had to finish reading this book on my iPhone to keep from getting a headache.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I can't wait to see what will happen next for them and what is going on with the Aether.
This was an interesting read,. It has the usual girl meets boy story line but the girl is unusual in normal, non paranormal, way! She is large than average and has hung-ups about that, is on the spectrum and has hang-ups about this also but I loved the way the guys loved her regardless of her hang-ups.
It was very creative and the three mates were all very interesting characters, however there wasn't much character development of the female lead. I assume this is mostly because the book doesn't span a long length of time. Overall it was interesting and made you curious and desire to continue reading.
slayed. love women’s empowerment. also love men begging for forgiveness when they’re wrong 🤷🏼♂️. magic system is interesting, and while it reads a little mass-produced YA (this is not an insult, despite how it’s worded. i am Far too tired for high fantasy world building these days.) its still good. definitely “chosen one” but i dont mind it myself 🤷🏼♂️
TikTok hoodwinked me. The negative thoughts the female main character has about herself was abundant in this book. Hit about 60% read, and with skimming, is very childish storytelling. Maybe a good idea of a story, but doesn’t hold my attention at all.

I liked the idea of this book and I think the characters and world have potential. But it fell flat, the ending was very anticlimactic, and I just feel like it should have been longer. I didn't really feel like I got to KNOW any of the men.
