I absolutely adored this book and the entire series. Penelope Sky could write a 50 book series and I would still read it!

My words will not do this book or this review justice. I am in complete awe of the depth of characters, angst, emotion and love that Penelope Sky was able to add to her characters in this the final installment of the series. With each new male lead I found myself falling head over heels in love with the character. Each one adding just that little something extra to push them past the ones that came before. However, Heath will ALWAYS be my overall favorite. Such a tough and strong man that is literally brought to his knees by the love he feels for Cat. The back and forth hatred that Damien showed not only to Heath but to his sister's actions had me crying into my book. The ending was a masterpiece. If you have not read this series, you need to stop what you are doing right now and grab each and every book. I can guarantee you will read and re-read all of them over and over. Now excuse me while I go back and read this one again.

Jeden Monat habe ich mich auf den nächsten Band gefreut, aber es kommt kein neuer mehr ...
Jedes Pärchen hatte eine unglaublich fesselnde Geschichte, so natürlich auch Heath und Catalina.
Die beiden zusammen waren einfach mega.
Wie Heath sich von der Skull King Reihe bis jetzt entwickelt hat, ist einfach der Wahnsinn!
Selten habe ich so eine tolle und echte Charakterentwicklung gesehen!
Jeder Band der Reihe hat die 5🌟 sowas von verdient!
Sie waren alle spannend, absolut fesselnd, einzigartig und für mich etwas ganz besonderes! ❤️

How do I explain how great I thought this book was.... I really can’t begin to do it justice but what I can say is that it is the best book I’ve read in years! It’s unforgettable in every possible way! Their story begins with a boom, Catalina is the strongest heroine Penelope has ever written and Heath is taken with her from the very begging, he knows she’s something special and unforgettable! Their chemistry is combustible and remains strong all the way through. You’ll laugh, cry and everything in between and you’ll never be ready to leave this family and the love they all share.
I truly can’t say enough great things about it and if you don’t pick it up you’ll be missing out on one of the greatest books written.

Truth by Penelope Sky was something else. I couldn't stop reading it until I finished it. I loved the emotion and detail put into this story. I highly recommend this book.

This was the last book in the Betrothed Series. I really enjoyed the last book and the epilogue was a few years into the future. I would recommend this series. I gave this book 4 stars.

I will honestly say that this was one of the best books that I’ve read recently! It gave me so much suspense that I couldn’t put it down. I loved everything about it, which says a lot since all of my other reviews felt like the books were repeats of previous stories. It not this one, This book gave me everything that I needed and more. Simply perfect! Sibling relationships played a key factor in this book and it was beautiful to see. The Dad 😳 OMG I had no idea and would have never guessed! This book was 5 stars plus more! Heath and Cat are officially number 1 to me. A must read.

God I enjoyed this series so so much. So happy i picked it up. So happy it was 10 books. This series is brilliant. It will consume you. I highly recommend it.

I love how Ms Sky's books are never boring despite similarities in theme.
When I read Bone's and Vanessa's story, I thought that that would be my favorite. But Cat's and Heath's story was even better.
As I mentioned before, I am not much of a fan of dark romances. But every book of Ms Penelope's was something I truly enjoyed. Never a dull moment. The time frame until the next book in each series doesn't take too long, so the story remains fresh in your mind.
All male leads start off as these big, bad, illegal "businessmen" who delve into trafficking, drugs etc. That alone should have been a turn off for me, but, as I have said in other reviews I've made, I always pay particular attention to the character's development.
When these bad guys fall in love, the transformation is amazingly sweet. Their emotions really shine through when you're reading. I love how, at the end of the day, they can sacrifice anything for love.
The female leads have also been strong in previous books, and Cat is no exception. She's not a simpering female and instead is very driven and strong. Really one of the best female character leads I've read.
I am looking forward to the author's next release and pray that it comes out real soon

AMO a esta autora!!🥰, me encanta que todos sus personajes son tan diferentes!!
los primeros 4 libros son la historia de Hades y Sofia.
La historia de Hades me atrapó y me gustaba mucho, me encantaba Hades hasta que cayó de mi gracia por cobarde y me decepcionó mucho su personaje, sobre todo en su último libro.
Libros 5,6 y 7 de Damien (socio y mejor amigo de Hades) y Anabella.
El me cayó mal desde el principio de la historia de Hades por estupido y después lo terminé odiando más en el libro 9 y 10 así que definitivamente ni Hades ni Damien fueron los mejores de la serie para mi.
Finalmente en los libros 8 ,9 y 10 llega la historia de Heath y Catalina hermana de Damien).

My favourite book of all 10!!!! What a Rollercoaster ride. The emotions ran wild. There was laughter, tears, frustration and anger, hate, but mostly love. Heath is by faaaaaaaaar my favourite of all the men. This book was hard to put down, I just didn't want it to end.

This series is where vaginas go to shrivel. Nothing worse than watching so called anti-heroes turn into a love-sapped whipped puss*es. Its not necessarily bad but reading it in almost all Penelope Sky (PS) books is really disappointing and ridiculous. I'll stay clear of PS books from now on.

Well, that summary was lack luster, but at least we knew that the story ahead would be a good one given the up and down roller coaster. There are so many forces trying to push this couple apart, that even Cat is letting it happen since she’s not willing to give up her family.
We watched this couple fall in love, and we watched them try their best to make things right with Damian in order to be together. When he reveal more to Catalina about Heath than she knew, more background on the situation, she realizes that she’s never going to get his approval and she walks away from him. Damian thinks he’s won, knowing that Heath won’t kill him, that he uses this to his advantage and captures Heath. Which we see play out just in the same way that Cat’s initial capture played out. Heath is put in a cage, yet this time Damian beats him to within inches of his life.
He’s somehow saved – I guess the power of love truly is stronger, and we see how this creates an interesting predicament as the story continues. Catalina has made her decision on what she wants, even if it means the demise of her family. She tries and tries to make things right, and that doesn’t work. Balto steps in and picks up the slack with the Skull Kings while Heath can’t even move and that puts a new set of challenges at the forefront since his wife is pregnant. We watch that one play out and it makes us anxious.
In all of Ms Penelope Sky’s books, we see dark men who really don’t deserve to be saved. Yet they want to be saved by the right woman once she walks into their lives. We’ve watched it time and time again, and this isn’t any different. Heath is willing to give EVERYTHING up for her if that would help and while it works for some, it does’t for others. It’s only when Heath meets her father and they have a chat that we see that there’s more to the family history than anyone knew – and I have to admit, I actually toyed with the revelation in my head before it came.
Secrets that were never meant to come out are shared and they have both a healing and a destroying power. We watch Vox take his vengeance out at any length, forcing folks to go on the run, be prepared for a shootout and know that some characters that we’ve come to know well aren’t going to come out of this story alive. I feel like this is well set up for the culmination of this series, yet i’m sad to see that it’s over. We get an ending that’s right for this story – but there’s so much more that we could actually get into if our author decides to write it

such a perfect ending to a ten-book series i genuinely don’t know how to start,, this series took pieces of my heart and glued them back together, how do i recover from this
after reading all three stories, i realized there’s quite a pattern:
1. all fmcs were kidnapped/held hostage respectively at some point in their own story
2. their ‘relationships’ all started as ‘just sex and sex only’ until it grew to smth more obvi bc of their ‘undeniable chemistry and attraction’ 🙄
3. the love interest demanding to be ‘exclusive’ all bc they don’t wanna wear a damn condom LMFAO
4. all mmcs were beaten to within an inch of their life and obviously all morally grey bc the way morally grey characters love is just >>>>>
5. the baby endearment JSLSAJSKAL
anyway, despite the ‘repetitive’ scenes, they all still managed to be interesting and unique in their own way, reading these books were never boring bc smth was constantly happening ehem not just sx but you know, there was a gooooood portion of it throughout the series
now let’s actually talk about heath and catalina, honestly they were two characters that i wasn’t immediately fond of in damien and annabella’s story (heath bc he was an antagonist there and idk for some reason i found catalina annoying at first) but now my love for them just grows each chapter,, like the previous couples, they were literal soulmates, they went thru horrible shits and still survived bc duh they needed their happy ending which i honestly questioned in the middle of reading, i was actually sobbing my eyes out towards the end of book nine bc i was scared they wouldn’t end up together but fortunately they did and that fucking ending made my heart SO WHOLE i will always have a place in my heart for this series and these amazing characters pls read these but check tws/cws first bc there are very triggering scenes here and there

I am not sure how Penelope Sky does it but she always rips our hearts out, makes sure we know that these two people were meant to be together forever, gives us a dangerous situation that keeps us turning pages to make sure everything turns out (sometimes unexpectedly), and no matter what happens - keeps us coming back for more.
This conclusion gives us everything. Revealed secrets. Relationship highs and lows. Surprises galore. Sacrifice. A special guest mention of my favorite character EVER (Lingerie series 5-15)! And an amazing conclusion with a worthy epilogue including sunflowers!
As always, we are given both Heath and Cat's view point. I love being in the mind and knowing what each characters thoughts are on a certain situation. You feel the pain and joy of each character. Seeing Cat pulled in two different directions (her man vs her fam), just shows how strong she is. I love when she finally lays into Damien - epic! The Vox solution was certainly a surprise but worth every heart pounding minute. And finally Heath, he started out as a total a$$hat (even to Cassini) but his character evolution due to the influence of Cassini and mostly Cat brings out another antihero worthy of the woman that conquers/creeps into his heart.
I want to thank the author for allowing me a review copy of this amazing conclusion. I wrote this review so that this author's work may be brought to the attention of others. The Lingerie series is my absolute favorite but that is just because Griffin (Bones Jr.) is in it! Don't wait, grab any of this author's works and be prepared to get sucked in.

Catalina and Heath, are an amazing spiritual couple. Their commitment to one another is like any other. Especially with the bomb Richard,( Catalinas' father) dropped! What a surprise that was. It's solidified their uncanny connection. Damien was a total douche, throughout the book, until he found out that Heath is really a good guy. My heart broke for Heath when he cried😥. Such unnecessary pain and suffering, they had to go through because of Damien's stubbornness. Catalina was such force during the break-in. She reminds me a lot of Button aka Pearl Barsetti. Such a kickass they are. The ending was good. But the wedding was like the wedding that never was. What happened to the ceremony? She arrived and Heath hugged her. Next thing everyone was leaving to go home?!!! What happened to the Priest and the I dos?! I guess it was implied... Anyway I still love Heath and Catalina's story. It was like a rollercoaster.

Heath and Catalina are magnifisent characters.The love and devotion they have for each otheris amazing .When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Penelope Sky is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this books.Can't wait for the next book

I loved the whole series! I want more! But just disappointed that Anna didn’t play a bigger role in Heath and Catalina’s story. I felt like Cat was all on her own there. Kinda mad at Anna too, but oh well. Shit happens. As usual, I loved this series! Editing needs a little work, but overall, fantastic job, Penelope!

I fucken love Heath and Catalina!!!! I loved how the story end and I’m just so in love with them!! They’re honestly the top 5 of my favorite couples, Bones and Vanessa are my first lol. But I hope Penelope sky continues with her Italian men series, maybe Ash can have his own story ? Or maybe have London and Crewes kids interact with one of the Barsettis kids ?

Swept by a tornado!
Love the book. I wanted Damien and Anna to get married and here their story. I felt the book could of been longer. There were some tear jerker moments. I hope Penelope introduce the Betrothed characters in another book. A wonderful series!

I have read all the 10 betrothed novels by Penelope Sky just as I have read all the 16 Lingeries novels. the style of writing is the same. But i admire the men in her books when they found love the love forever. they protect their women to the fullest.
