Curves for the Single Dad

This is the 4th story in the Curvy Girl Dating Agency series where we finally get Tara’s journey to finding a good loving man, Chris who has a precious little 8 year old daughter, Lila. Tara is still getting over her last ex leaving town and her and Chris has an ex that only cared about what he could finically provide her and not much since he was not a successful author back then. Chris has become a very successful author and does not want a woman who is a fan girl or only wants to know him for his money and to genuinely care about Lila. The girls at the dating agency get Tara to join with a birthday gift and Chris joins for “research” for his new book. When these two send time together it’s easy and extremely enjoyable so it scares Chris and Tara is upset over his reaction and Tara let’s Chris know it’s better to be friends as she is no into causal. Once these two get on the same page do we get to see a beautiful love story and one special girl who gets exactly what she wants! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Not looking for love but it found me!!

A father and a famous author , looking for a new type of story to write decided to write about the matchmakers and a psycho killer. Chris a divorced man with a daughter who is a sweet, loving eight year old tries his luck with the matchmakers only for research purposes. Tara is the town Deputy she is just recently gotten over a bad relationship, her sister gives her a gift from the matchmakers club to find her a true love. Well these two wind up together and it is a great story with lots of fun banter between them, sexy steamy romance and a little girl who wants to have a step mom like Tara! Recommend with a 5 Stars review

I really enjoy the couples that author Piper Sullivan pairs up in her Curvy Girls Dating Agency books. In the fourth book of the series, "Curves for the Single Dad," we meet Tara, who is a police officer, trying to be a detective and Chris, who has become a successful mystery writer. Chris has an eight-year-old daughter, who actually admires Tara, but Chris isn't into relationships - he focuses on raising Lila. Chris joins the Curvy Girl Dating Agency, but claims it is for research only. Of course, it is. Naturally there are some hiccups, bumps and bruises along the way. but if you're like me, you'll really just enjoy the journey. You can expect some drama, angst, humorous situations, miscommunication, misunderstandings, laugh out loud moments, steamy situations and romance. A thoroughly enjoyable read. I received this book as an ARC from the author, and I volunteered this review.

Tara is a policewoman in a small town, she wants to become a detective, but since her ex left her, she has put off doing the detective's exam, and she has kind of given up on men. Tara's friends and family haven't given up on her finding someone, so she had better watch out. Chris is known mystery author, with a cute daughter (Lila), he doesn't want a serious relationship. Although maybe Tara will be too tempting. I loved Tara's sassy attitude, strong nature and her banter with Chris. I liked Chris, he tries to be the best father he can to his daughter, and is generally a nice guy, although he can be frustrating with his sometimes jerky behaviour. I loved the humour, fun and romance of this book.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.

I loved this small town romance set in Pilgrim, Texas with relatable characters you feel like they're your friends and a great story that immediately captivated me and kept me totally immersed in all that was happening from start to finish. I enjoyed the attraction, undeniable chemistry and repartee between policewoman Tara Beechum and single dad Chris Jacobs with the secondary characters enhancing my reading enjoyment. If you want an afternoon of reading pleasure, don't miss "Curves for the Single Dad" by gifted author Piper Sullivan. I am now looking forward to book five in the must-read Curvy Girl Dating Agency series. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Tara and Chris, both are resistant to giving love a chance since they have both been burned before by their ex’s. What follows next is the chaos of dating and one determined little girl. These characters are well developed with their hiccups between them and miscommunication adds to the drama. Enjoyed this book especially when this couple finally figures everything out, as always with Ms. Sullivan you will get witty banter, a bit of drama and some steamy scenes that give this book that extra kick to just keep reading the whole book in a sitting.

I just love this series and the matchmakers in this town. From the moment I picked up this book I was hooked. Chris and Tara are perfect for each other. Both are gun shy and are not looking for a relationship. Those matchmakers are at it again. They do such a great job with these two. This book made me laugh and I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading it. It has great characters and a beautiful story line. I cannot wait to see what's next. Best of the series so far. Pilgrim is fast becoming another favourite place after Tulip. Chris is an author who joins the Time For Love dating agency for research for his new novel. Tara is a local cop who is gifted a date from the agency. When that date fails, Chris is there to step in and the chemistry between them ignites. Throw in Chris' adorable daughter Lila and this is a fun and steamy read. If only Chris and Tara can get past their unsuccessful former relationships to give this one a chance. Lila will certainly influence them. Read an ARC for an honest review.

This is the 4th book in the series and just as good as the others. Tara is an officer with the local police department and having a hard time still getting over her last boyfriend. The way he left jus kind of left her in a spiral. Chris is a single father of a cute 8 year old and doesn’t believe in love anymore after what his ex did. When Tara gets signed up with Time of Love thanks to her sister and friends and Chris signs up to write a book will things become clear that they are made for each other? This is a well written book and enjoyable.

If you want a break from Suspense Romance books, this a good read. Both Tara and Chris went through bad breakups therefore they were very cautious getting into a new relationship. Chris wanted to protect his daughter Lilia because of what her mother was doing to her. Tara was the type who fell in love quickly. She knew what she wanted from a relationship and was not accepting a friend with benefits which was what Chris wanted. Once Chris realized life was nothing but chance and Tara loved his daughter unconditional, he had nothing to lose.

Chris and Tara are a perfect match according to the girls from Time For Love Dating Agency, but they have both been hurt and are not looking for love. Chris has an adorable daughter who also has to be taken into consideration if he were to get involved and he doesn't want her hurt again. As much as they try to deny their chemistry these two are meant to be together and if Lila has any say about it she will have Tara as a stepmother. A beautiful romance with lots of emotions.

Both Tara and Chris have been hurt in the past. They both want to protect their hearts from further damage plus Chris needs to protect Lila, his eight year old daughter everyone loves. The characters are so lovable and realistic. The writing sucks you in and makes you a part of the story. I loved this sweet but hot story! I like me a role reversal and this one delivers.

Tara is a tomboy cop who doesn’t have time for frills.
Chris is a single dad, a writer with a new idea for his next book series.
She’s the brawn with a gun and he’s the brain with a laptop.

There’s match making gone awry and then right?
When they end up hanging out of said matched dates take off...

Steam and good pacing kept me engaged.
Recommend.

I love how saucy Tara is. Her wit and sarcasm is hard to resist. Chris is charming and uses that knowledge to get what he wants. His daughter Lila is adorable and precocious. This is a great story. The matchmakers are determined that Tara and Chris are perfect for each other and will resort to any means to see them together. It is delightful to see the hi jinx they get up to as they work their magic.

This is the story about Tara and Chris. I absolutely loved the dual, first person point of view, which is a deal breaker for me. Great characters, good storyline, this author delivered once again. 5 stars.

Tara and Chris have an "accidental date" when their real dates end in both leaving. The dating agency then matches them. Will this cop and writer find a way to a HEA? This is a very enjoyable read. Truthfully, it's my favorite in the series so far. I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing.

Ongoing saga

I am enjoying this series. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me angry and it gave me hope. Anxious to see what happens with Dander and Mara. Only a few other things...some missing words in sentences, not a lot. At the end, with Olives crisis, a man named Rafe was mentioned. Did you mean Liam?

Writers Block

Hmmmm 🤔 what happened to the epilogue? Stroh, independent sexy woman? ✔️. Hot, smart, caring man? ✔️ Hot intimacy scene? ✔️ Wonderful story with well rounded characters and storyline? Yep...✔️✔️ But the ending...... not what I'm used to. You WILL enjoy the overall story. 🤓

An amazing well written small town romance. This engaging storyline had both with undeniable chemistry fighting the attraction because they both disappointed before. It includes angst, misunderstanding, drama, miscommunication, humor, steam and laugh out loud moments. The characters are interesting, relatable, and have incredible chemistry . I voluntarily read and reviewed this fantastic ARC.

Great book!!!

Enjoyed reading about the courtship of Chris and Tara. Chris's daughter added the right amount of cuteness. This couple both had to overcome ex's who were unbelievable. It was great to see them work out all of their problems. Overall it was a great book, thanks. Written by Cindy :)

Cute story. I really enjoy this small town of friends. I did feel this story was a little rush. There was not much drama, more of working on emotions. I was disappointed in this story because I noticed some discrepancies from the storyline. It always bothers me when I have read a series and the author starts changing names of ex and characters but in the end was a good book.
