Nathan I thought The Royal Court was everything I needed, but now it’s shattered and I’m lost.
My mother is dead, my brother is missing, and my father is on the run. I don’t recognize the monster my ex has become and my friends all blame me for what I did. The only thing I still have is Nikita.
Our circumstances finally stood aside so I could tell her how I feel. But I betrayed her when I did the one thing she can’t forgive. Our souls drag us together no matter how hard she tries to force us apart. I’ve had to shed my arrogant ways and practice humility to try and earn her forgiveness.
Will I be able to drag my friends and family back from the gates of hell, or am I going to lose everything, including the one person I love the most?

Another fantastic book from Rebel this one sucks you in and kept me reading until the very end. I loved reading about the characters watching their growth throughout the story. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book
I will have to admit I wasn't sure what to think when I started the book and seen it was Nathan and Nikita's POV, I was still stuck on Cherri and Deon. Once I started reading I realized it was much more and this definitely needed to be this way! This was a much deeper and healing book for The Royal Court then I expected. I'm eagerly awaiting the 3rd book. 😍
Once this ARC hit my kindle I devoured this book! Nathan and Nikita. My heart broke and healed a couple times. I love Duel POVs being able to get inside both of their minds. What a fabulous second book in this series!
I have never read a series with such awful characters. The first book has the “heroine” screwing both her boyfriend (the “hero” from this book) and the guy she is supposed to love. They are all vapid, shallow, and boring and do not deserve to have a HEA. Her inner monologue while screwing this “hero” was always about how bad in bed he was and how she wasn’t attracted to him. It didn’t really set up his story much did it. There isn’t even really good drama or angst. Just rich shallow characters all having boring smex. What is the point?
My review is an ARC rewiew. Rebel Hart captivates once again. The highly anticipated follow on from Evil King, i think it was brilliant taking a different perception in this book and having Nathan & Nikita's POV. I felt we had a real insight into Nathan's life and how he truly felt for Deon! He might be the ultimate douche in Evil King BUT for good friggin reason.
The story continues and its a rocky road for all of the royal court. My heart snapped for Cherri but i am all over her badassary vibe!! I can so relate to her BAD ASS VIBES! But when the guy you've been with for years does the unthinkable to you IT changes who you are. When she finally realises WOW is all I've got to say... it was beyond powerful and pulls on your heart strings.
The royal court are best friends and stand by eachother regardless of the circumstances. For me this is so powerful when you think your friends are turning there back but stand by you.. the complete definition of BEST FRIENDS.
The question is .... do you feel betrayal ABSOFRIGGINLOUTLEY TO AN EXTREME.... want to know why, DIVE IN and find out!
Bring on book 3 and the finale, bring Deon back in my life from his POV with Cherri!❤❤
This book starts off where book 1 finished. I loved Nathan in the first book as you could see he had a lot on his mind and was acting out... I love it's from both nikita and Nathan's PoV, especially after that ending in the first book.
The characters as always - perfectly written The story - flows effortlessly.
I am a massive fan of Rebel and I don't think that will ever change. She never disappoints Excited for book 3🥰🥰
So four stars. I can't really give this five stars because the high points of the plot weren't adrenaline pumping enough. It really just lost the edge because the hints were so clear as day. I still love that the male is more the main character than the female and that there's so much self discovery. I'm glad book three will be going back to Deon and Cherri. Looking forward to reading it.
WTAH Rebel how could you leave that cliffhanger 😩😩 I have to say this second book in the series is fab and god how Cherrie has changed just shows what grief can do to a person. I didn’t think I could ever like Nathan for what he did or Nikita for standing by him. However you can see how a victim like Nathan under his father’s powerful influence could snap, I hope we find out in the 3rd book what the hell was going on with the teacher and why Nathan was even bothering with her. I’m so looking forward to the last book to find out what the hell Connor is up to and the set up he has in place for his business with Nathan & Deon and why Cherrie & Nikita seem to be in the crosshairs and I hope the boys get their vengeance. I don’t understand where your brain is to come up with these stories but you have one amazing brain for your storytelling and you have me hooked I would honestly give more than 5 stars for both Evil King & Evil Queen if I could have, my only complaint is I need the third book now 🙏
Rebel never disappoints with every book she writes. Evil Queen was a great read I couldn't put it down. I love this series and rebels books. This was Nathan's and Nikita's story. Please read evil King before you read evil Queen. Can't wait to read what rebel writes next. Highly recommend this series.
This one is Nathan and Nikita pov... now I understand why Nathan was a total douche in evil king... so he has been redeemed somewhat... I liked the 2 of them together..I won’t go into detail because this is one of those series you have to read for yourself to enjoy..
I was disappointed to see this book was in Nikita and Nathan’s POV, especially after the ending of book 1. Cherri really aggravated me in the snippets she was in of book 2, and that’s all I will say about her without giving a spoilers. I’m hoping book 3 is so much better and more satisfying.
I love this series and could not put this book down. Reading nate and Nikita's pov was amazing and I fell even more in love with the series than before!!! This series is soo worth the read
I have to admit I did not find this installment as intriguing or interesting as the first one. I read it was a dark story but it’s not as dark as I would like.
Evil Queen by Rebel heart is book #2 of the royal court . I received a Arc copy of this awesome book . After reading book #1 in the series Evil king , and absolutely loving it by the way, to the point of staying up until 3am to finish , I was not sure how book 2 was going to beat it , But it was a close second . I loved everything about this series . The royal court is a group of friends who are as close as family and would do anything for each other .Nathan is the center of this book , in book one I definitely was not liking him to much but always got the feeling the was more to him that meets the eye . But everyone deserves the chance to redeem themselves , this is Nathan’s story . I would absolutely recommend 💜📚💜📚💜🥡
I was sure I was going to hate Nathan for all time, but oh my, I forgive him! He’s heart is in the right place and he does everything to redeem himself in the Royal Courts eyes.
Nikki was phenomenal- love her! And these two compliment each other perfectly ❤️
I loved how the Royal Court dynamics changed and the bonds they all built. And Cherri - blew my mind!
I was so excited that this book focused on Nathan and Nikita! Don’t get me wrong I love Cherri and Deon but it was awesome to see Nathan find redemption with his friends and himself! So excited for the twist and turns to come in the next book!!
I love this series and could not put this book down. Reading nate and Nikita's pov was amazing and I fell even more in love with the series than before!!! This series is soo worth the read
This is a story that keeps you wondering what will happen next. While this isn't my normal type of story I enjoyed it and look forward to the next book.
This is a fantastic second book in the Royal Court Series! This one is told in Nathan and Nikita’s POV. At first I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t Cherri and Deon’s POV, but I quickly got over that! I loved everything about this book! Amazing characters, awesome storyline, just..... YES! I highly recommend this book and series, definitely a Must Read in my opinion!
While I was initially not happy that this was not from Deon and Cherri’s POV, it ended up being just as good! This is a great storyline that will keep you hooked! I can’t wait to see what happens next on this hunt!
Evil Queen • The Royal Court Book 2 *ARC Review* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I thoroughly enjoyed following The Royal Court's story from Nathan & Nikita's POV. Nathan was 'the villian' in Evil King (Book 1), but redeemed himself in this book. He became a loveable character. I loved seeing the characters' relationships grow & develop. As a mental health advocate, I loved that the concepts of visiting a therapist, taking medication, and facing your problems were normalized. It also painted a great picture of forgiveness and not letting your mistakes of the past define you or your relationships. Rebel's writing was fantastic, as usual. Not that I expected anything less! 😉 Looking forward to the 3rd & final book, Evil Villian.
