Great Story, Relationships, and Writing

The story was fun and well written. The author's style was engaging, and I appreciated the effort of a relatively diverse vocabulary. There were some errors that were obviously editing oversights, such as the author deciding to change a tense, but leaving the old word with the new. There were also several cases of the wrong word being used, such as peak instead of peek or, most egregiously to me, smelt instead of smelled.

I am kind of snobbish about books claiming to be harem lit, but this one delivers with the protagonist being central and vital to the relationship, and not just becoming a third wheel to an already existing relationship. The romance scenes were a little shy of being satisfying, and could have benefited from a little more focus on the actual act, and not just on foreplay and the emotions involved. I definitely look forward to this author's future work.
