What's the Big Idea?: A Comedian Explains God, the Universe and Other Minor Stuff

Scientists have spent lifetimes describing the astounding creation around us but, because of personal beliefs, lean toward the rather absurd answer that everything happened by sheer chance. Conversely, people of faith confidently say that their God made everything but won't listen to reason when science points out rather rational explanations of how things came to be. Faced with these two differing opinions, I find myself in the uncomfortable position of disagreeing with pretty much everyone. Your instincts are right on; I'm not invited to a lot of parties.   Regardless, I challenge both scientists and theologians alike to imagine they're back in school, ready to turn in their final assignment, when the teacher takes a cursory glance at their work and says, "Since your whole grade counts on this, why don't you look over your paper one more time before you turn it in?"
