This story is like taking two steps forward and three back but at the end of the day totally worth it.
It definitely was interesting to learn a bit about a disorder (sexomnia) I did not know about, but also get insight into why the character probably developed it and the journey through it from another characters point of view. I'm not sure how accurate it was, but it fascinating all the same in how the brain works. I loved the vivid colours in the art and though there were hiccups along the way, this manhwa is another that highlights just how important communication is!

A spin-off with the side characters of the main story (Window Beyond Window)

This webtoon talks about a imaginary (well, I would say it coz idk if it's possible) Psychological condition of a person(Uke) that leads him to behave differently during night. This confuses the Seme that leads to confusion and bit misunderstanding that was soughted out too( God knows how exactly, but typically imaginary as well). Then, they realize they love each other and that's it... a fairy tale like happy ending.😌😌😌

Yup, the plot is pale & typical as I said but artwork was very beautiful. Both of the look too adorable 😍💕☺

A one-sided unrequited love that turns to become a actual loving relationship in a campus-life, a cute one-time read to feel happy about the couple 👬💑🧑‍🤝‍🧑❤

Ahora veo que no es una historia que merezca cinco estrellas, aunque en su momento me gustó mucho, creo que ahora no sería algo que podría agradarme.

Dans ce manhwa on suit les personnages secondaires du yaoi "Window to Window" et pour ne pas changer eh bien il n’y a pratiquement pas de plot mais uniquement du smut a presque tous les chapitres 😅

Room to Room is a spinoff story of Window beyond Window which focuses on the romance between Dowan and Chamin. Dowan has been one of my favorite characters on that series that’s why I was so excited to find out that he got a story of his own, yay!

Dowan has feelings for his friend Chamin since their first year orientation. Imagine having feelings for your straight friend and seeing how happy he is with his girlfriend everyday. The angst, right?! One-sided love is not one of my favorites, but there’s just something about this story that I find so…addicting.

I instantly like how the story started, I think it was mainly because it was all taken from Dowan’s pov. So every emotion he feels in each scene will really hit you that you can’t help but get emotional and sing Aimer’s song, Kataomoi. The addition of sexsomnia also made this series extra hot and interesting.

But it also almost lost my attention when an annoying ex suddenly appeared. Dang, that guy really got on my nerves. I thought everything would be cliche after that, so I am really glad that both the main leads didn’t go the cliche route and ruined everything.

So let me tell you about the main characters:

Dowan is a pretty romantic and nice guy, so it’s really hard not to like him. He’s also very sexy, like, arghhh, how possible is it for a guy to get even more sexy every single chapter I read?! He wasn’t like that on Window beyond Window lol, hahahaha. He’s a pushover when it comes to Chamin since he doesn’t want to pressure him because he just broke up with his girlfriend. But dang! It’s just so hard not to get affected everytime he gets hurt, huhuhu.
Chamin on the other hand is very cute. Why is every uke much cuter than a real girl lol, hahaha. He also looks so happy all the time so you wouldn’t think that he suffered some awful bullying before.
I just love both the main leads here. It’s just so refreshing to read a story where both of the main characters didn’t act annoying especially during their conflict.

Dowan really suffered a lot emotionally so I was so happy on the part where Chamin finally said he loves him too. Sorry for that spoiler, but I just can’t end this review without mentioning that one. I was just so happy for Dowan that I was also teary-eyed at that scene. It was just so precious.

Aside from the annoying ex, I don’t really have any major complaints about this story. It was just pretty good with an amazing visual so I am sure you will also love it.

Looking for a sweet and hot yaoi read with a romantic and hot seme? Then Room to Room is definitely a great choice. Have fun reading!

From the creator of "Window to Window" comes another great story "Room to Room" featuring the side couple of the main story - Dowan and Chamin. Although the stories are connected and "Room to Room" is a sequel to "Window to Window", it can be read individually without reading "Window to Window".

Dowan has a one-sided crush on his friend Chamin who is totally oblivious of this fact. They have been living as roommates for a year peacefully until Chamin gets dumped by his girlfriend. He gets drunk and has issues sleeping and hence to comfort him lets Chamin sleep with him. And then the problems start. Chamin, in his sleep, demands to have sex with Dowan and the innocent Dowan agrees to it thinking Chamin is accepting his love. However, Chamin seems to act like nothing happened the next morning. Things go on like this for a while until one-day Dowan discovers this sleeping disorder called "Sexsomnia" where the affected person seems to be sleepwalking but instead they engage in sexual activities and forget everything the next day.

I think I have spoiled the series enough so I wouldn't say anything more. Go read it. It is an extremely beautiful series.

Dude i had such a good time, the seme really tried not to make the wholeass thing all about sex even though it is all about sex and he is p soft. When i read that the author’s other readers call him a monk top, i loled cause it, it aint a lie. Haha

I wish the art was more straightforward but it delivered, i like dowan better with his hair down though i cant relate with anyone using hair gel or wax. Honestly just vvvv cute

Vale, yo pensé que este spin off me iba a gustar más pero no fue así, honestamente no sé cómo es que lo terminé de leer. El problema del insomnio lo sentí como si solo estuviera ahí para poder hacer escenas sexuales, además, ni si quiera nos mostraron como se quitó, simplemente desapareció así como si nada.

Los personajes me agradaban, pero la historia no me gustó en general.

👉 ¡Otra historia de yaoi donde todo gira en torno al sexo, pero al menos intentaron construir una trama a su alrededor para hacerla un poco más interesante! 😏

👉 Estoy feliz y triste al mismo tiempo de que solo tuviera 50 capítulos, porque sé que, si hubiera sido más largo, sería literalmente otra escena de sexo tras otra. 🙄

👉 Siento que tenía el potencial para explorar algunos temas como por qué su ex terminó con el seme y profundizar en la enfermedad del uke. Literalmente se curó de la nada 🤷.

¡En resumen, una historia corta y linda como debe ser, aunque podría haber dado mucho más! 😉📖💔

This story was more smut than plot, which made it drag after a little while. The central premise is interesting and dramatic enough that I kept reading, but it was frustrating because it started becoming very unbelievable. Surely the characters can't go that long without the secret coming out? There are so many reasons why one or other of them would figure it out, but instead the miscommunication just drags on and on. Without smut, the story would have been over in 10-20 chapters, instead it went for 50.

Overall, it was engaging enough that I kept reading, but the characters just weren't very memorable and the plot was thin aside from the main hook.

Okey, tengo muchas opiniones sobre esta primera temporada, tiene una primicia muy interesante y tenía la intuición de que no me iba a gustar, principalmente por todo del consentimiento entre las relaciones entre estos dos…

⚠ QUE HAY QUE ACLARAR ⚠ : Esto no esta bien, Chamin no esta en sus sentidos para consentir tener relaciones con Dowan y esto seria peor si Dowan supiera lo que en verdad le pasa a Chamin, le da igual esto y tuviera relaciones con él de todos (Lo cual es abuso) pero aquí, Dowan no sabe que Chamin no recuerda lo que pasa en las noches, lo cual lo hace cometer un abuso inconscientemente pero… igual está raro, si es una trama muy controversial, esta mal y solo quería (y necesita) aclarar esto <3.

Aunque esto no evito que la disfrutara, verdad? JAJAJA, pero sí, me gusto, se me hizo muy adictiva, presenta temas muy fuertes; como abuso sexual, la dependencia emocional hacia tu pareja y las consecuencias que te pueden causar luego del rompimiento de estas, y aunque estos no son los temas centrales de la trama ni se profundiza en estos, a mí me dolieron mucho, principalmente porque, encuentro yo, no hay nada mas doloroso ver a un solecito como Chamin, que no le hizo nada malo a nadie, apagarse ☹.

Y me encanto que Dowan este ahí para él, mas haya de que sea la persona que le gusta sino también como amigo, que lo apoyara con su novia, cuando quiso ejercitarse, etc, simplemente me gusto mucho.

Y LOS ULTIMOS CAPITULOS DOLIERON DE UNA MANERA, ósea, luego de un tiempo de verlos haciéndolo y que tu sepas que, en verdad Chamin todavía no se siente interesado en Dowon y que él continúa intensificando sus sentimientos hacia Chamin, simplemente duele y te pone sad, y lo malo es que no le puedes echar la culpa a ninguno... PERO LA COMUNICACIÓN, AMIGOS, LA COMUNICACIÓN.

Y ESE FINAL, ósea el final… voy a leerme la temporada 2 enseguida.

(Pero me gusto que ya terminara, porque sentí que ya iba a pasar lo mismo que “De ventana a ventana” donde ya había mucho sexo y la trama no avanzaba.)

Segunda temporada = 3.5/5 ⭐️

Uuuf, la verdad no tengo mucho que decir que esta temporada que ya no he dicho ya.

No me gusto mucho la actitud de Dowan en los primeros capítulos, se me hizo muy injusto y me hizo darme cuenta lo raro que esta la trama por la falta de comunicación, se hace irreal que recién se de cuenta del síntoma de Chamin, ya no conoce el síntoma, pero de que no se da cuenta de qué hay algo raro todo este tiempo? No se, esta muy raro.

Aparte de que llegando a una parte también me aburrió, prácticamente lo deje de leer un día porque ya no estaba tan interesada Y ESO ME DUELE porque la pareja que hacen al final si están muy linda 🥺💗, me encantan como quedan estéticamente, son bien bonitos.

Y eso, creo que si lo recomiendo, igual se hace entretenido, pero es algo meh a mi parecer, lastimosamente.

DNFed could not stand the fact that there was a lack of consent. It was weird overall, and I had a bad feeling about it. The person asleep is not aware of what they're doing. Even though the other may have feelings and may feel used, weren't they aware that the other person was asleep at the time?
