This is the second book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. This story takes place, two years after the original one, Cat being Dante’s prisoner all that time. Angel has started a war to get her back, will he win? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and twists and turns. Great characters with intense chemistry and loads of steam. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!
I was disappointed in this book. If 1/2 of the running around and chasing their tails was eliminated, this could been one book story. Also you wrote a strong female character in the 1st book, then you weakened her so bad in this book that she almost got family killed. It was a weak media story.
Vicious Angel is the second book in the Criminal Sins series and continues the story of Catalina and Angel. But there is two years and his crazy brother Dante in the mix, along with a secret that will crack every thing wide open and shake these two men to their core when they find out. I liked this second book in the story. The story-line is interesting and at times quite fascinating with its twists and turns. The characters are well written and there is enough angst, danger, drama and sizzle to keep you occupied.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The second book in the series & should be read in order. Angel & Cat are good characters. It was a fast-paced, drama filled read with some twists. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
This book continues the series started by Sasha Leone in Envy. I loved the storyline of this book. The characters that I liked in the first book became even better in this book. There is plenty of drama in this book that shows how well the mafia aspect is carried out. The storyline seems realistic to the culture, which can be rare in this type of books as many usually forego realism for ease. Overall a great book to end the series.

Our dark, gritty, twisted, suspenseful page turner continues, this time we get some answers and a HEA. This book is exceptionally well written with surprising twists and turns, lots of action and revelations and kept me captivated and I was unable to put the book down.
Angel had to leave Catalina with his vicious and demented brother Dante in order to save both their lives, now 2 years later he has gathered his evidence and allies and ready to take back what is his. Catalina a prisoner, has a secret that leaves Angel reeling and gives Dante another avenue for revenge. I loved that Angel thought outside the box to get allies to get Catalina back and the author does an great job keeping the reader on the edge of their seat with baited breath with an epic battle, while rooting for Angel and Catalina to win the war so they can get their well deserved HEA. Highly recommended read.

When the fight becomes more than brother against brother! by sewsummore
This book follows "Envy," part one of Criminal Sins. A lot has happened in Catalina and Angel's lives since the ending of book one. Friendships have been forged, and alliances are made. Angel knew his brother could not plan the revolt against him without help, and finally, the perpetrator is revealed. Catalina had a secret of her own that was to shock Angel to his core. Catalina had become a stronger and more determined woman while separated from Angel. When they are finally reunited, Angel has renewed determination to destroy Dante and free the people of their dictator. Angel has to learn that the fight will not be won by him alone, and he enlists the country's downtrodden poor to his cause because only a revolution will end their tyranny. I enjoyed this book more than the first book in the series. Both Catalina and Angel are no long the people they were, their lives have been changed by adversity, and both their characters learn about respect, honor, and justice. It was a hard-won fight, but what happens after the battle is won? I sincerely hope that another book will follow this book to conclude Angel and Catalina's story.

This certainly had it all and was full of suspense, action, blood and tears! If I’m completely honest it was a little drawn out but a great read nonetheless, would’ve liked a later epilogue to finish but it still had a good ending, definitely a duet to read! 😁

At the end of book 1, Angel is forced to leave Cat behind while his crazy wicked brother holds her captive. Now 2 yrs later, he is ready to come back and reclaim his kingdom and Cat. Both have changed in this 2 yr span, Angel finally gets information as to who is behind his brother and pulling strings. Cat lives in fear not knowing when Dante will completely crack. He torments her with his verbal abuse and keeps her pretty much up. But Cat has a secret, not even Dante knows. How will Angel react when he finds out hr has a son? Can he save his country from the evil and chaos his brother has created? A very fast paced, action packed, pulse pounding, heart throbbing, on the edge of your seat read. Sometimes it was so intense, I had to put down my reader and walk away to regroup! Great storyline, a MUST read.

Vicious Angel is the second book in the Criminal Sins duet by Sasha Leone. This picks up right where Envy left off, and there is a lot of action here as Catalina and Angel tries to find their way back to each other. While Dante has overthrown Angel and is now the masochistic cartel leader of the town, Catalina is left with him. Angel is plotting to come back to take his rightful place, inciting a revolution that will bring change to Dante's depraved rule.
This book was fast paced and delivered some answers that the first book left you with. We find out about Juan, Oscar (aww), and we get to meet the people who are loyal to Angel and Catalina. I was kind of hoping to have Catalina's background be more prominent here, as she was also the daughter of a big cartel leader, but the focus is mostly on the developing relationship with Angel and taking back their town. In the end, the face off between brothers is a tale as old as time, and the rightful heir will win the princess. Overall a satisfying ending to the war for family and peace.
Angel and Cats story. This story flowed not at an oppressive pace but not at at extremely fast pace either. It was at a tempo that you would think is just right. Sasha has written a winner with this series! This is the 2nd book within this series and it was nice. I was hoping by the title that it would be a bit darker but I was not surprised that it has just the right amount of heat and angst. Miss Leone did a good job at conveying what she set out to do with these characters! I am hoping that the next book will be just as good!

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. This is the second book Catalina was captured by Dante his brother and her still scares her. Angel has come back to claim what is his but alot has changed in the couple years he has been away. It was hot and steamy like a rollercoaster, and with twists and turns just to keep you guessing.

Book 2 in the Criminal Sins series. Catalina is forced to send her baby Oscar away to protect him from Dante, now she only gets a few moments at a time with him. Angel has been plotting his revenge and to get his Catalina back for nearly 2 years and now he is back in Columbia. Believing the ones closes to him betrayed him before finding his old friend Juan has been looking after Catalina the best he can whilst under Dante rule, he has hope to get her back. But their reunion is short lived as Oscar's life would be In jeopardy, Catalina once again is forced to tell him to leave her. There is also the matter of Enzo Barrella the man who puppeteered his brother Dante in his take over, are the still working together? Is there a higher purpose? With Dante now wanting to use Catalina for his own public image boost via marriage will Angel be able to save her and his son in time before it's to late? Are there more than just his family that need to be saved from the clutches of his brother. This explosive read is well written and nicely paced through out. With a great story line that keeps you hooked all the way! With action, suspense, drama, desire, revenge, trust, love and more!

I enjoyed this second book of Angel and Cat's story. A lot of unanswered questions were answered by the author. Since there was no epilogue, maybe this isn't the end of the series. There were a lot emotions in Cat and Angel's story, but the story was very easy to follow. This book was well written with a plot lines that was very well developed. An enjoyable, sexy and action packed read.

This is the story of Cat and Angel two years after the first. Cat is being held in a tower by Dante, oh and Cat had Angel's baby. So Angel wants to start a war to take Cat back. There are people that do not like the way that Dante is running things. Angel is evolving into a different type of man. This is such a great story with fabulous characters. I hope there is a third and maybe a fourth. This book was just outstanding.

This is the concluding part of Angel's and Catalina's story. As with book one i had a high anticipation for the story, but it failed to blow me away! Don't get me wrong it still had everything you could want, it was full of action, suspense, romance and lots more! It was very well written and I'm glad this one was a little more fast paced than book one. I just found that it failed to hold my attention for long and had to keep coming back to it.

I read both books in two days, couldn’t put it down! The story was gripping and kept me guessing what was going to happen the whole way through. I will be reading more from this author.

This novel had a lot of good moments, a lot of sweet moments; BUT it also had lot of just okay moments and just a sliver of the romance that the title implied. However, even though there were times when it would lull, I never pondered choosing another novel for immediately something would grab my attention again. There was always something slightly spicy or mysterious which would reel me back in to stick by the side of this author. In the end, though, I'm glad I finished reading this novel.
