When the village you call home exists alongside the most dangerous dungeon in the land, the word "weak" is completely relative in this manga adaptation of the popular light novel series!Lloyd takes on a job at a swanky hotel in return for room and board. His superhuman strength and skills go a long way to keeping the inside of the hotel nice and sparkly and getting the kitchen prep work done in a flash! With his humble attitude and diligence, Lloyd inspires and awes the hotel staff on the regular. But just around the corner from the hotel, a strange case of people falling asleep and never waking up again is underfoot...!!
Hilarious as usual. Misunderstandings abound, the entire gang shows up, and a mystery is afoot! I suspect Selen’s dad is the sapling host.
It was fun to meet another resident of Kunlun, who is eccentric in his own way. He is passionate about passion, and was on the list of suspects because he suddenly changed rooms…for some reason he didn’t want to stay in the suite named after the famous hero Alka 😂 he very accurately guessed the chief would show up on Lloyd’s tail and made his exit.
Speaking of her, they really need to stop describing her as someone who dotes on Lloyd like a son. That makes the censored massage she taught him even more disturbing…

Interesting plot buried under mountains of useless fan-service, read like a filler episode of an anime. It's only book five and it's already this off the rails, author only needs to add a useless pet creature to nail the bingo card of boring stereotypes.
3.75/5 I love these characters but I feel that the hotel arc provides them with less opportunities to be their ridiculous selves. I'm hoping that future arcs will provide more of the hilarity and heart that makes this story so special.
I laughed so hard at Selen. Knock out darts do not work on Lloyd. I know. I tried. We are way past stalker at that point. Then the chief in the bathhouse catches view of Lloyd nude and passes out.
