Light vs Dark...
Dark Moon Falls: Deacon by Robbie Cox is part of the multi-author Dark Moon Falls series. This story is about Deacon and Purity. Deacon has come back home after years of being away serving in the Army. He is out one night with a friend at a club when he sees a man beating up a woman. She is not taking it lying down but is trying to fight back, which is a losing proposition. But Deacon is the type of man who knows that no man should raise a hand to a woman and steps in, thus he meets Purity. Purity is a young woman trying to make the best of the bad situation that she has ended up in. Her sister had a gambling problem and when she ended up in debt to the wrong man and would not pay he wanted her to work it off instead. Purity could not let that happen so she sent her sister away and is now herself having to work off the debt by dancing at Damien's club. But she is not always compliant with what he wants and thus she found herself being rescued by Deacon when he steps into the situation.
This is a fast-paced and steamy story which is well written. The story-line held my attention and the characters are very likeable. Both Deacon and Purity are dealing with situations and things in their lives that are not of their making but that have come to rest on their shoulders. But in all that is a chemistry between the characters that becomes passionate and romantic. This was a nice story.

What I liked the most about this book was the characters. Deacon, Morgan, Logan, Purity, and Madison are all good characters. Damien is the bad guy as if you would not be able to tell by his name. Purity had a sister who gambled. Damien is the one who she owed money to and he wanted her to work it off. Purity sent her away and after that, Damien held her responsible for the debt her sister incurred. So, now Purity is dancing at his strip club. Enter Deacon and his friend, who happen to see Damien beating on Purity and the story really gets going. Purity is not the kind of girl to take a beating and fights back even though she has no chance. Deacon is the kind of man who you would want to save you. He does more than stop the beating, he whisks Purity off to keep her safe. I thought this was a really good shifter story. I like that Purity is not accepting of the beating Damien was laying on her. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.

I loved Deacon and Purity's story. Deacon's past thinking he failed his sister still haunts him. He intervenes when he sees a stripper at a club he went to getting physically abused. Purity has had to work for an evil man at a strip club to pay off her sister's debt. But she's had all she can take when she refuses to stay late at the club. Her savior is Deacon. Purity immediately feels a special connection to Deacon and Deacon's wolf says she is his mate but their romance will not be easy as Purity is kidnapped by the evil club owner. The story is well written and will have you hoping they make it through together.

The author has given us people we can care about. Deacon returns to his hometown after ten years of trying to outrun his past. Purity is dancing at a strip club when Deacon saves her from the abuse of her boss. He vows to keep her safe. The story keeps you turning the pages with a kidnapping, suspense, danger, action and love.

Very Exciting
Loved the story, lots of action and family drama. Always love the drama and everything it entails. Lots of excitement with every page, and no rushing of the love part. Perfect story. Only issues was how could wolves of this pack talk to a human in mind speak, none of the others could.

Dark Moon Falls: Deacon by Robbie Cox is such an awesome story that I have loved reading. I loved reading this story because it shows me their are still good men or wolves in this word. I highly recommend this awesome to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters and paranormal romance.

The author has done a given us a quick, fun read filled with plenty of romance and action. The characters were endearing and the story line was engaging. This was the perfect read for a long lunch.

An enjoyable read. The story is full of suspense, drama, danger, great characters that fit well together. The story is easy to follow. You will read it in one sitting. The story is quick enough to read on your lunch break.

When Deacon McKay returns to Dark Moon Falls after ten years in the Army, he is still full of the issues he left with. Back together with Logan amd Morgan, its like he had never left. Little had he planned, on his first night out, to rescue a maiden in the form of a local stripper from an abusive club owner. Memories best left hidden are exposed, the need to really rescue is thrust forward, by him and his inner wolf. He had one plan the wolf had another.
Purity Atwood is a stripper at a clin that she doesn't want to be at working for mafia kingpin wannabe. She being a good sister rescued her sister from a violent situation thinking that she could work to pay off her sister's debt. She is finding out the hard way that will never happen.
These two cross paths unexpectedly and their attraction is immediate and so hot it is scorching. Robbie Cox is able to weave the heat into this story where it should be and put all the passion and and animal magnetism amongst the human side to rescue the lady in distress. This, the second book in this series that he has written flows right back in and seeing Logan and his lady Madison were like visiting old friends. Purity and Deacon are good for each other, and I cant wait to see where Morgan's book comes in. I look forward to it.

DEACON by Robbie Cox is the second installment in the Dark Moon Falls series. As usual, this author's story is well written with characters that are strong, caring. This is a fast paced, easy to follow story with a little steam on the side, all while addressing issues of domestic abuse.
Not being able to help his family when needed, Deacon disappeared into the army. Now he is home and dealing with a lot of guilt. He's oreally not ready to get back into pack life, yet.
Purity has been forced into paying her sister's debt by dancing at a strip club. Besides the work, the downside is the measly pay and a demanding, boss with a heavy hand.
