Conrad Erikson thought that doing the police chief a favor would be an easy assignment, one that could ultimately benefit the Savage Kings MC in the future. All he has to do is pick up the chief’s daughter from college and bring her home. What could possibly go wrong? When it comes to the chief’s daughter Hannah, the answer is anything and everything. And if Conrad isn’t careful, she’ll wreck his life and bring down the entire MC.

STORY: This was very entertaining. The road trip from hell paved with pure pleasure. That’s how I would sum up this book. Hannah, she definitely made this book interesting. At times, her age truly showed as she could be immature. Apart of her is rebelling but this main female character is all over the place and is messy messy messy until she breaks through Conrad’s wall of defense. Although this is an MC book, there wasn’t that much MC activity as the main focus was Conrad getting Hannah back home. That was a little disappointing. Apart from that, the story flows well and will be good if you are able to put up with Hannah’s character.
ENJOYMENT / CHEMISTRY: The authors tease us mercilessly with the sexual tension and build up between Conrad and Hannah. I like that they didn’t give us too much too fast, but just enough to keep us hooked on what will happen between them. It had BDSM theme, but not well knowledgeable in it, but it was not hard core BDSM.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS I am looking forward to reading Cannon’s story. This is Conrad’s brother who is also apart of the MC.
Overall, likable read, annoying at times female character, a sexy MC and a sexually charged road tip.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

Holy smokes this book was hot, sexy and sweet all rolled up in one! Conrad and Hannah's story was an incredible read that dealt with some tough issues but had me hanging on every word! The antics between these two had me smiling, laughing and begging for more. I love the relationship that grew between these two and the jaw-dropping moments had me gasping for breath. If you haven't started this series I highly recommend it because each book gets better and better!
Hannah and Conrad are unexpected, steamy and a great addition to the Savage Kings MC. Conrad is an MC that gets blackmailed into doing a favor for the local police chief. Find his daughter at college and bring her home. What he isn't expecting is the curve ball of Hannah. Hannah has been on her own since 16, living life as she sees fit. She is drinking partying and will not be told what she should do by her father of this biker man. Get ready for a wild ride with Conrad and Hannah. She is not going to go home quietly or without a fight. ~~Michele McMullen~~
Conrad and Hannah’s story is definitely unexpected. They have a story that takes you on a journey. Hannah is definitely a character that is hard to take in at first. Her actions make you cringe a bit. Conrad is someone we have met in previous books but haven’t really got to know him. So now we get the unscripted version of Conrad and he’s not like we expected either. Their story isn’t simple it’s complicated and unfiltered. And it’s definitely not perfect. But it definitely addictive to read. We do kind of get left on a bit of a cliffhanger! So I’m not so patient waiting for Cannon’s story next.

Conrad has a secret he does not want out, but the police chief is holding it over his head. He wants Conrad to bring his daughter home. Will the MC let him? Will he be able to keep his hands off her? Hannah does not want to come home, but what is she doing to her life? Why is she doing it? Can Conrad help her or will his secret come out?

: CONRAD is the fourth instalment in the contemporary, adult SAVAGE KINGS MC: South Carolina erotic, MC, romance series co-authored by Lane Hart and DB West. This is twenty-four year old, motorcycle mechanic and MC member Conrad Erikson, and twenty year old , college drop out Hannah Bailey’s story line. CONRAD can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: CONRAD contains scenes of bondage, and reference to BDSM, that may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Conrad and Hannah) CONRAD focuses on the blackmail of our story line hero. Conrad Erickson likes his women kinky, and is a member of the BDSM club. When police Chief Bailey comes demanding a favor, Conrad knows that to refuse could mean the destruction of the people he loves. Enter police chief Bailey’s wayward daughter Hannah Bailey. Hannah Bailey, to her father, is a lost cause; an embarrassment; a threat to his run for Mayor, and thusly must be hidden to ensure her silence but once Conrad meets the blonde haired beauty, our hero is determined to protect his charge with his own life. What ensues is the building relationship between Hannah and Conrad, and the potential fall-out as the blow back of their relationship affects the MC he loves.
Hannah Bailey is determined to numb her life with $ex and booze but never expected to find herself ‘tied’ to a man whose sole purpose is to return her to a man she despises and hates but Hannah is unaware of the threats made to our story line hero, threats, that if revealed, could destroy his life. A cross country journey forces Hannah and Conrad to work together or find themselves fighting the entire time.
The relationship between Hannah and Conrad begins as a business arrangement , one in which Conrad is forced to bring back Hannah Bailey, to a man threatening Conrad’s reputation and livelihood. Conrad finds himself with a woman whose sexual appetites are stronger than his, appetites that Conrad is reluctant to feed until his can no longer withhold. The $ex scenes are erotic, intense and steamy.
The secondary and supporting characters include Conrad’s twin brother Cannon; Winston, Chief Bailey; and Hannah’s former college professor Bob.
CONRAD is a story of family, and dysfunctional relationships; power and control. The premise is entertaining; the romance is provocative; the characters are captivating, colorful and dynamic. CONRAD ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
Conrad is blackmailed in to doing a favour for the chief of police. To bring his daughter Hannah home from college in California. Hannah has been off the rails since she was 16 years old. She’s spent the last four years in and out of drunken hazes, never knowing where she was going to wake up. She’s used her body as a weapon to get what she wants from weaker willed men. When Conrad eventually lands in California, he wastes no time in tracking down Hannah. He’s on a tight schedule, and always likes to keep to his plans. Simple enough? Not when Hannah’s concerned. She does not want to go back to Myrtle Beach. She hasn’t seen or spoken to her father in four years and has no intention on starting now. Drunk Hannah and sober Hannah are both 100% behind that. So she does everything she can to make things difficult for Conrad. She uses her body, her womanly wiles, fights against him and is consistently determined in her efforts. Conrad quickly realises that his neat, laid out tight schedule has gone out the window. Instead of flying back to Myrtle Beach, road it is.....
•Oh no! No, no, no! It can’t end that way..... Wow! What a ride! After the first three, interconnected books that kicked off this new Chapter of the Savage Kings MC, there was a how do you follow that moment. This does it perfectly. It’s much lighter but still covers series issues like alcohol dependence. We get to know more about one of the identical ‘blond Viking gods’. Conrad is the calmer of the two, the organised twin, the planner, the one that stays at home at night with no revolving bedroom door, unlike his loud, larger than life brother Cannon...such an apt name ;-) But even he can have secrets. The attraction and chemistry between Conrad and Hannah is electric and he really is saint for staying the course. He ‘sees’ Hannah and for the first time she gets that and understands that although he’s being blackmailed into this by her father, Conrad genuinely does have Hannah’s best interests at heart. Another well written and thoroughly enjoyable ride. Superb!
Blackmailed into retrieving Hannah for her police chief father, Conrad is in for more than he expected. He thinks this will be an easy job and keep his dark secrets from seeing the light of day. Hannah, however, is a wild child - constantly throwing herself at him and doing her best to escape him. She'll do anything to avoid going home to her family. Forced to make a cross-country drive with Hannah in tow, Conrad slowly peels back Hannah's tough outer shell and begins to see the kind-hearted woman beneath. Hannah didn't start out as a very sympathetic character. She seems like an out of control woman who uses everyone around her. As you find out the details of her life and the trauma she has experienced, the pieces fall into place and her behavior is much better understood.
Conrad, although he has convinced himself that there's something wrong with him due to his bedroom proclivities, is actually a very sweet and loving character. Despite his bad boy vibe, he will do anything to protect Hannah - from her bad habits, from her family and even from himself. As he comes to see his own worth, he begins to see himself with Hannah in the long term, but knows that he will have to do the right thing for both of them. It tears him apart to have to leave her, but he knows that she needs to heal from everything that has happened to her. He can't help but hope that she will come back to him.
While this story ends as a 'happily enough for now,' it clearly leads the reader to the upcoming book in the series featuring Conrad's twin brother.
I love this series and continue to read each installment as soon as I can get my hands on them. Each book rates as either a 4 or 5 star read for me and I can't wait for the next one.
Four stars for this story of redemption and healing.
This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.
And here we go again. Hell yeah. One of my favorite duo has a new book coming out and I couldn't be happier. Hell yeah. These two know what they're doing and I'm so happy sitting in the front row. Did you say MC? Yep, I'm the first to want to read it. Lane Hart and DB West have been a constant in my reading life and I can't get enough of them. Their writing is raw and wild, intense and emotional with a touch of hotness. Conrad is their latest release and it's the fourth book from the Savage Kings MC, South Carolina charter. This new book explores the lives of Conrad and Hannah. Conrad is one of the brothers from the Savage Kings, and he'll do anything to protect his club and his brothers. When he's given the task of picking up the chief of police daughter but... Hannah's life was always protected. Being the chief of police daughter she needs to live by a few standards, despite her rebellion face. When a hunk of a biker comes to the college to pick her up... OMG, what a book... What a story... I loved it so freaking much. Superb plot, very well written, super engaging, and intense. It was great to have news from this MC. I missed them. The main characters worked perfectly with each other and you could witness their struggles, their pain. They were an explosion ready to happen. The hot stuff is very present as well as betrayal, loss, love, and determination. Once I started to read this, I couldn't stop. No matter what, I couldn't stop. Great book Lane and DB. Perfect and I can't wait for the next one. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
So here we have Conrads story and this one was pretty interesting. So remember the chief to police from the previous books. The chief did not want to help the mc when they asked for it. However, we also learn that the chief is not on the up and up. He approaches Conrad to ask the mc for a favor. Conrad goes to tell him that it is not going to happen til the chief shows him something. Well what is going to happen now. Well Conrad does not want anyone to find out about his secret because he is afraid of judgement. So lets meet Hannah who happens to be the favor the chief is asking for. He wants his daughter back in Maryland to "watch" Hannah is on the other side of the country so Conrad goes on a mission. What will happen with these two? There is a massive push and pull between these two. The emotions that Hannah throws out are crazy. I mean you can see that she is obviously dealing with some deep rooted issues. The things that she does to numb herself and to be able to sleep are insane. You can see that she choose to become addicted to some things and not care about anything. She is free to do what she wants and not have to listen to what her father tells her. Do we find out what her issues are? Will everyone find out about Conrad secrets. So how will this end? I can say that yes we do get a bit of a happy ending but also with a pretty good cliffy as well.

Never a dull moment Conrad couldn’t believe it when the chief of police who the MC doesn’t like and he didn’t like them, came in basically to blackmailed him into going to pick up his daughter from college. Like he couldn’t understand why his daughter didn’t wanna spend time with him who would wanna spend time with a man like him who is only thinking of himself??. The MC doesn’t go for it but Conrad knows that if the information got out about his secret they would look at him differently as would his twin Cannon. So he plans to go it alone how hard can it be???? He thought it would be easy but he had no idea what type of woman Hannah was. Hannah was out of control with her drinking anyone else would be scared to wake up not knowing what happened the night before but for Hannah this was becoming a common occurrence. When she finds out that her father who is so embarrassed about his daughters behaviour sent a man down to collect her and take her back, there is no way on this earth that she plan to make it easy for him. But what happens when they spend time together??????? There is so much that we don’t know as this book isn’t complete there is a second part that comes with Conrad’s brother Cannon. And we just haven’t got a clue what will happen then because Cannon is named really well because he is a loose cannon he enjoys life And lots and lots of women.

♠️♠️ONE ENTRANCING JOURNEY♠️♠️ Holy hell homer! This extremely talented uniquely gifted and immensely insightful sensational duo unleashes one helluva bombshell with this heart-rending tilt-her-world, divvying out some cruel facts, brutal lessons and ruthless decisions, launching this bad boy to new heights. Escapades and serendipity descend in a tempest of calculating maneuvers and brilliant strategy, sketchy lines and frayed perimeters solidify as limitations are exposed and tested, bringing the heat and bashing walls, reaching deep for every ounce of strength in a fierce surge of determination, propelling this bad boy to life brilliantly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such intensity and ardor, exploding with boundless emotions and infinite affections, binding them together beautifully. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance fluidly, exhibiting amazing depth and diversity with enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you're part of the story instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Fabulous job guys, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.
This is the 4th installment to The Savage Kings MC, and it is exactly as riveting as we've come to expect from this power couple; Lane Hart and D.B. West. Conrad Erikson, might be an identical twin to Cannon, both 24 years old, however, he is as unique as they come.
The Savage Kings MC, manages several businesses and Conrad is one half of the whole that manages the local Harley Davidson dealership with his Brother, Cannon. Hannah Bailey, is a 20 year old college dropout, as well as the Chief of Police's Daughter. It seems that Hannah can not stand her Father and wants no part of his life. Unfortunately, the Chief is blackmailing Conrad into locating her, and returning her home, just in time for his political aspirations to take off.
From blackmail and deep wounds to a beautiful happily ever after, I suggest that you devour every word of this publication. Discover how a 2-day trip turns into a 5-day road trip with rehabilitation at end. I was beyond addicted to every single word of these pages and loved every minute of it.
Cannon is next Savage Kings MC installment.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Conrad in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion. I highly recommend reading this release as well as anything published by Lane Hart and D.B. West.
Conrad is blackmailed by the chief of police to go to California to get his out of control daughter Hannah for rehab because he is planning on running for Mayor. Hannah is a wild girl who has been partying and drinking since she was a teen...she dropped out of college and uses alcohol and men to cope with trauma that she went through at 16. Conrad is into pain during sex and even his twin Cannon does not know about this dark part of him. He does not want the MC to find out especially after what Tessa went through with the kidnapping just months earlier. So he goes to Cali and picks Hannah up planning a quick plane ride back to Myrtle Beach but quickly realizes that is not an option and they will have to drive. The sparks soon fly and Conrad tries his best to keep his hands off of Hannah but eventually gives in...they soon develop feelings but Conrad realizes that rehab is exactly where she needs to be. Fast forward 3 months when Hannah gets out of rehab she shows up with some news for Conrad and she eventually tells his her story as to why she was the way she was. What happens next when the Chief finds out that Conrad and Hannah are now together? Gonna have to read Cannon's book to find out. I love this series and the books just seem to keep getting better and better.

Oh My what a breathtaking in your mouth start of the connection between Conrad Erikson & the Police Chief Bailey's eldest daughter Hannah 😮😖😬
It's Chief Bailey's blackmail against Conrad from evidence from the BDSM club & Conrad didn't want his brother Cannon or fellow MC Brothers, so he had to go get her from College so she wouldn't be able to embarrass him whist he's ready to campaign to become Mayor. But Conrad wasn't expecting to find her living with her ex professor whom seems to degrade her. But things will about to become so difficult in getting her on a plane back to Myrtle Beach, ESPECIALLY giving her destination. And its when he sees his Binds that he brought with him just so that Cannon wouldn't see them, but they've come in VERY handy during the 5 days drive down back home from SF. But its NOT until their final night prior to the drop off to the rehab center that Conrad can't hold back any longer & that is what connects them deep. It's when Hannah's departure where we can smile & laugh after she goes to The Savage Kings Harley Garage & Conrad has gone to the Rehab Centre to Collect Hannah & that's how the mixup happens by her 😂 But we have to wait until Cannon's book to find out more where the ending of where we've been left here with Conrad & Hannah....
'Conrad' is the fourth book in Lane Hart and D. B. West's "Savage Kings MC: South Carolina" series. Just to be clear, there is absolutely nothing not to love about these books!! Conrad is quiet, tortured, and a bit kinkier than most of the guys. He's into BDSM and after what happened with Tessa, he's afraid everyone will think badly of him because he likes the pain so he hides a part of himself which absolutely broke my heart. When he's asked to bring home the police chief's college drop-out daughter he thought that would be an easy favor he could pocket for the MC until needed. NOT!! Hannah is just as tortured in her own way because she has absolutely no respect for herself and uses alcohol and sex to get what she wants. I wasn't particularly fond of her until I found out her reasoning and then she too broke my heart. This storyline is full of insecurities, growth, compassion, chemistry, drama, betrayal, loyalty. Lane Hart and D. B. West have infused their story with emotion and it translated to me as I traveled their journey. There's a happy for now kind of ending where the fate of the Savage Kings of South Carolina is hanging in the balance of what Cannon, Conrad's twin brother, does. I can't wait.
This was a very good read. Conrad is blackmailed by police chief Bailey to go to California to retrieve his out of control daughter. He warns him to keep his hands off his daughter. Bailey has a video of Conrad and a woman that he threatens to show to his parents, his MC brother and his twin brother Connor. Conrad doesn’t want to lose his family or the ones he loves but fears they will not look kindly to his kink side. Hannah is a wild child, an alcoholic and has no intention of going back home to Myrtle Beach or to ever see her father or speak to him again. For 4 years she’s stayed away. Conrad has his hands full with Hannah and has to improvise to keep her from running away from him,. A good storyline that deals with a broken young woman with an alcohol problem, low self esteem, trust issues and self destructive tendencies. Conrad is a good guy, but thinks there’s something wrong with him because of his own sexual desires. Fast paced with plenty of angst, drama, frustration, desires, secrets, temptation and passion. Looking forward to Connor’s story next.

Conrad by Lane Hart & DB West a challenging five-star read. This is number four in the Savage Kings MC South Carolina series and lines us up perfectly for Cannon’s story, so you feel like this story is half of the whole much like the twins they portray within the pages, I am dying to read Cannons story, not only as I am a huge fan of the series, but also as this one leaves us needing to know what happens next, what will the Chief of Police do next. I liked this story even though we take a step away from the MC in this chapter, it was nice to see Conrad coming to terms with himself, I feel like in helping Hannah, he also saw some things in himself as well. Hannah isn’t always an easy character to like, but as you watch her grow and realise why she behaves like she does, it becomes easier to like her character and understand why she describes herself the way she does. If you have been enjoying the series so far, this is a must grab, especially as I am sure Cannon will come barrelling in soon and pick up the story.
I really, really like this series! I cannot get enough of the Savage Kings MC. This is the story of Conrad and Hannah. Conrad is one of the quieter guys from the club and probably also one of the more kinkier guys. Conrad is into BDSM and after what happened with Tessa, he is afraid that everyone will think badly of him because he likes the pain. Hannah is the oldest daughter of the police chief and is very, very messed up. She uses alcohol and sex to egt what she wants and has no respect for herself.
This book really had me all in my emotions. I felt so bad for Hannah – I just wanted to hug her and tell her she is worth so much more than what she is giving herself credit for and definitely loved because she is enough. This story has it all – passion, compassion, drama, betrayal, loyalty and most of all – it has understanding. Great story and even better characters. I cannot wait to see what is in store for Conrad’s twin brother Connor.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy through Booksprout ARC’s for an honest review.
I loved Conrad! He was sweet, kind, and a bit tortured. My heart broke for him every time he intimated that there was something wrong with him. I felt horrible that he felt he had to hide a part of himself from all the important people in his life.
Hannah was a difficult character for me. Not bad by any means, but I just couldn’t understand her in the beginning. I was trying to understand she why was doing what she was doing and behaving the way she was. Then all the little pieces started falling into place, and my heart broke all over again. But when it was revealed what truly happened, I was horrified and livid!!!
This book doesn’t have a regular ending. It’s more of a “the end for now,” until Cannon’s book continues the story and I absolutely cannot wait! The fate of the Savage Kings of Myrtle Beach is hanging in the balance and I’m on pins and needles waiting to see what Cannon will do!

This is an interesting and amusing. Conrad is asked by the police chief to fly to San Diego and bring his daughter back. Conrad reluctantly agrees to go, thinking a 2 day trip isn't too bad. Only when he gets to where Hannah is supposed to be, she isn't there. He tracks her down and learns that not only is she a 20 yo alcoholic who tries to seduce him, she will fight him tooth and nail to avoid going home. He had a few things in his backpack that he ended up having to use on her, and her had to drive back. 5 days alone with a woman who tempts him like no other woman ever has. As she slowly wears him down, he realizes that she has more than a drinking problem. But the sparks between them can't be ignored, especially when Hannah teases Conrad constantly. When they get home he drops her at the detox center the chief arranged for, then tortures himself about if it's really a good idea to pursue her. Conrad and Hannah are hot together, a problem that they both have issues about. It's a great story with a surprise twist at the end that, unfortunately, leaves you hanging.
Conrad is blackmailed by the local sheriff & he has to bring his daughter, Hanna back home. Seems like an easy favor to do until he finds out Hanna is a handful, in more ways than one! He's been ordered to keep his hands off her but this favor seems to be more of a challenge as Hanna has very low self-esteem of herself by believing she's best at being a drunken slut. Conrad works on building her confidence back, she is worthy, beautiful inside & out, has the brains to become something better than being a gutter wench. By the time he brings her back home, he continues to protect her from danger. Unfortunately, this looks like a cliff-hanger & continues into the story of his twin brother, Cannon.
Excellent story-line, love the characters & how Conrad tries to keep his hands off her but she keeps on flaunting & teasing him even after they get back to town. This is an awesome novel to read, as well as all of the other Savage Kings M/C novels.

(Conrad & Hannah): FREAKING CLIFFHANGER!!! TRIGGERS: BDSM, underage drinking, inappropriate professor-student relationship, alcohol abuse, dirty cops. Twin #1. Finally we get to the twins. Conrad is the more responsible twin. He's blackmailed by the chief of police to bring his daughter home. Hannah is a HOT MESS. She dropped out of college and drinks like a fish. What should've been a quick trip by plane, turns into a long drawn out road trip. Conrad is the ultimate alpha male when it comes to handling Hannah. Hannah was quite annoying for most of the book. I feel like maybe she's been molested at some point. She uses sex to get her way at every turn. She hates her dad and stays away from her whole family for that reason. Though her reason for hating him isn't really clear until the very end. Conrad and Hannah have a strong chemistry and their passion is hot. The story itself is good but I really couldn't stand Hannah until the end. But then… cliffhanger. Now we have to wait to see what'll happen with her dad.
When the Police Chief comes calling and demands a favor from the Savage Kings, Conrad has no idea exactly what he is getting into. It should be so simple – go and bring the Chief’s daughter home. None of the Kings want any part of helping him so he is on his own. On the surface, this should be an easy job to perform. Get Hannah, put her on a plane, and return back to South Carolina. Little does he know he is going to pick up a very strong willed, hard-headed woman, who wants nothing to do with seeing her family. This story is a slow burn with Conrad doing everything he can to resist Hannah’s charms until it become inevitable that he is the perfect person to help Hannah exorcise her demons. These two were meant to be and find that love can conquer all. I can’t wait for Cannon’s book to see what repercussions Conrad and Hannah’s relationship brings the Kings. I highly recommend this series!! This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more!!
This was a great story. However I personally didn’t like the beginning of the book. I wasn’t fond of Hannah in the very beginning. But that quickly changed. This was definitely not your typical boy meets girl romance book. Conrad is being bribed to bring Hannah home to her father. Hannah doesn’t want to go back home. I love how the two started to fall for each other even when they both had other things going on. This book is mostly just Hannah and Conrad. It was written so well I felt like I was in the car on the road with them. Once I got into this story I didn’t want to put it down. I loved the ending which I’m giving no hints too. My only reason for 4 stars is just because I didn’t like the very beginning, but that’s just my opinion (I don’t give 5 stars to every book I read). I also wish we got more from the MC crew. I can’t wait to read more from these two in Cannons book. I highly recommend this book.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Conrad and Hannah have such a roller coaster ride. He is the twin that is in control, quiet and guarded. He hates that he ended up blackmailed by the police chief. He had to go and bring the long lost daughter home to Myrtle Beach. Hannah is a complete mess. She does not think highly of herself, abuses alcohol and her body. The last thing she wants is to be dragged back to a father that has not been a father in years. These two butt heads repeatedly and end up on a road trip that will change them both forever. The chemistry between them is something they have not experienced. They have the chance for a happy future together but there are some roadblocks in their way. The book was a great addition to the Savage Kings MC South Carolina series

I love this series but this is probably my least favorite book so far. As with most of the books in the series, although the guys are all part of an MC, the MC dynamic is missing - especially from this one. Conrad ends up going across country to pick up the sheriffs daughter after the sheriff blackmails him. Hannah is spinning off the rails and throughout the book is very immature using sex to manipulate the situations she finds herself in. Conrad is particularly hard on himself and his proclivities - although he claims to have been in the lifestyle he demeans himself for it and is ashamed. There ends up being some light bondage in the story with some steamy bits, the plot is a bit slow since its just about the two of them driving across country and it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to Cannon's story based on the teasers left in this book though.

So with Conrad being all about control and his twin Cannon being the complete opposite how could Conrad have any problems? Well that’s easy, when the chief of police finds out Conrad’s secret he blackmails him into going to get daughter from San Francisco. The chief doesn’t care how as long as her drunken self gets delivered to rehab before he runs for mayor. Hannah wants nothing to do with going back home and being under her father’s rules. She only wants to be away from him not matter what. After what he did to her at 16 she could care less if she ever sees him again. Will her father destroy Conrad and bring his secrets out in the open? Will Hannah get away from Conrad before he gets her home and checked into rehab?

Conrad is the fourth book in the Savage Kings MC - South Carolina series and is an action filled, in more ways than one, story about Conrad and Hannah. He is part of the Savage Kings MC and she is the local Sheriff's college drop-out daughter. They may not have a lot in common but yet they fit together really well. Their story is filled with emotion, funny moments, sizzling chemistry, intrigue, and a lot more. As with the rest of the books in this series there is no final bow at the end tying up the entire story....so if you are not okay with that then don't pick this book up. But if you can handle a HFN and characters that you will find popping up in future books then pick this series up and give it a read.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Conrad... Conrad...Conrad! I think you and I need to meet! You intrigued me and made my heart speed up. Yep, you were tortured and a bit broody but what attracted me to you was the fact that your heart was so good! Sorry Hannah! I respect you and I know deep down that you are the right one for him! I just have to say that you have an incredible man and I wish you both nothing but happiness to come. But honey if you EVER need a stand in I am AVAILABE! Although I know he will never have me... I'm Just saying! Another great addition to this series! These two amazing authors have it and by it you all know what I mean! Incredible read from cover to end and I am so looking forward to more from these two amazing and wonderful writers!
