Forever Bound

I Give this Book a 3.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 3.

I’m Currently Reading & Now Finished the 6 Book Boxset, and will be reviewing each book individually as well.

HEA(?): I actually wished their HEA Epilogue was expanded a bit more it felt like it was needed.
Relationship Type: RH> Reverse Harem: MMMFM
M/M(?): Very Lite, still as you read the scenes they feel less important, not passionately focused on and comes off more as a blip.
F/F(?): No. If you’ve read my past reviews, Lucy is (to me) technically a Major Character and not a ‘Kinky’ Gimmick, but in the end she is a Gimmick in my opinion and that was a little bit disheartening and I actually didn’t expect it.
I was actually hoping for some meaningful scenes and not just added heat. But there isn’t any.
*One thing that feels like a major disconnect is in the first 2 books I believe, Skip is described as a Major homophobe, but it ends up being ‘remedied’ in a way (if you’ve read the books, you’d understand the meaning with my vagueness), but to me it is something that seemed like a major disconnect and should’ve been actually focused on a bit better and healthier between the Harem or just between Lucas & Skip to create more depth and understanding, but it’s something that to me is dramatically glossed over.
*Lucy feels more like an unhealthy fixer upper bandaid, which I wish didn’t come across that way. I really liked Lucy from what little you actually see or what is talked of her.

Heat: 3/5, the heat scenes are fast and yet seem blurred in haste.
Romance: 3.5-4-4.5/5. It’s hard for me to explain this but because of the fact that in the earlier books the ‘I Love You’s’ came off as more Insta-feeling, so even throughout the series to me I still feel an odd disconnection on if they are really actually deeply meaningful in their devotion to her and each other.
Cause it still feels like they didn’t have enough time to develop as much because the storyline is overall fast paced, if you also ignore how quickly the bonding happened.
Pacing: Mid Fast.
Drama: Everything does come to a head in this one, which you were expecting, and it’s quite immediate. And Resolved a bit faster than I was expecting as well. 4/5
Suspense: 3.5/5

This series Overall is a decent read, it’s a good palate cleanser series.
This is my first series that I’ve read from this author.
While it’s like I said, its a decent read, I did enjoy the authors writing despite a few things, cause it DID click with me, I’m interested in more of her work.

I didn't really rate this book I feel like it was so much build up for not a lot of action the resolution with Jospeh was so quick and the fact it happened with 100 pages of the book left so it was just experiencing the things she missed out on growing up not in the super world.

I loved Ollie's and Marcus's story more than anybodies in this and the fact Walter got a full resolution, the only magic that was focused on was her banshee magic but I thought her being a halfling would have more of a role.

DNF

I'm really not sure how I got so far through this series, because it started irritating me at book 2. This is probably a me thing, but these books are so concerned with day to day minutiae that I'm bored witless. The series could easily be a trilogy with some decent editing, instead of spending chapters wittering on about who ate what, what it looked like, what it tasted like, how long it took to cook or eat.. And the endless repetitions of the 'hilarious' family member's 'jokes'... And so much other pointless stuff, that utterly smothers what could be an actual plot.
So yeah, no idea why I kept reading it tbh. But if you're someone who likes the cosy feel of day to day detail, and not a lot of action, you might like these.

I really enjoyed this book, especially compared to the rest of the series. Things come to a head against Joseph, but he doesn't make it easy with all of the power he's managed to wrangle up. It was drawn out just right - didn't end too quickly, and didn't drag along, either.

Towards the end (after the Joseph stuff) really showed the author's creativity. Allison and her men go to a circus, and they see all sorts of rare and unique shifters who perform dances, stunts, and tricks, showing off their abilities. The author goes into great detail of all that they do, showing just how imaginative she can be!

My only criticism about the book is the ending overall. There was a lot of extra content that was added but not needed. It was just the group going to things they had talked about previously in the book, such as the circus (though it was still neat to read about), a city strip club, and so on. The epilogue was nice, though.

It was a good series all in all.

Ally and Mates

Ollie has a golden light experience that will eventually turn him into a dragon and he must find the scarlet dagger. But only Ally can kill Joseph with it. Joseph seals off the town, so people can't get out or in. Lucas' Dad is returning with help from the council, and Lucas and Ollie return with the dagger. With magical artifacts from the dragons lair, they break the ward on the town. Everyone helps take down the shadow creatures and zombies to get Ally to Joseph. With Joseph's death the creatures he controlled die or go back to themselves. Ally and her mates decide to move to the country, finish uni and start their life.
Awesome series, characters who never give up, and have super powers they use to defeat evil !!!

Book 6 and the last book in this series. Things come to a head when bad guy Joseph takes over the town. Turning folks into Zombies controlled by him in his pursuit to take Allison's (FMC) Banshee magic away from her. I loved that even with most of them locked down in the town that it brought some of the more estranged families together. Healing wounds. Love, Death and Family all combined in this last book. As well as a few tears before we got the perfect ending. One that id hoped they'd get. I loved Allison, Lucas, Skip, Ollie and Marcus from the very first book and although im sad its the end of their books it was a brilliant way to go. I just loved it

I can’t believe this series has come to an end. I’ve laughed I’ve cried and I’ve completely fallen in love with this crazy group of shifters over the last 6 books. If you asked me what I loved most about this book, I’d probably have to say that it’s the fact that the story didn’t just end when the problem was dealt with. I loved that we got to stick around with the characters as they tried to move on with life and get back to a their normal. And then when the epilogue did come, man oh man was it great. Loved every bit of this world and I hope that we get to see these characters pop up again in the future.

I am an ARC Reader, What a conclusion. I have been reading this series, and anticipated this book. The whole series is so well written, with an explosively terrific conclusion to events the previous books have been building up to. One of the things I loved the most, as this is the last book, the ending didn't just stop at the conclusion of the main storyline. It tied up loose ends from the other books, and followed through to their lives after all the trials and troubles they have been through. Loved it Loved it Loved it. I try not to put details of the books in reviews, as I do not like spoilers. This is a Reverse Harem, supernatural book if you like these.

What do you do when a psychotic, undead warlock wants you so he can rule the world? You take a deep breath, pull your big girl britches up and take care of business.

Allison and her mates know that time is ticking. Joseph is steeping up his game and finding the Scarlet Dagger is crucial. When Joseph starts hitting close to home, it's time to take the gloves off and let loose.

J.E. Cluney weaves a stunning ending to her Corviticus University series. It's been a wild ride the entire journey, but what Cluney has done as she brings the series to a close is amazing. Be prepared to laugh, cry, scream, stare in disbelief, and get a little hot and bothered.

This is the last book in the series and boy what a book it was. Everything comes to an end and we get all those plot holes solved and we get to see the characters come together after all the trials and struggles they've had throughout the story. I will miss these characters and this amazing world. It's a satisfying read, giving us so many feels as everything wraps up. I really enjoyed this last book, loved the epilogue and will definitely binge the books from the start of series. Definitely well written and the design of the story will keep you on your toes.

This book really brought out the water works along with the heart stopping action. Thankfully for all of us it all worked out in the end but the journey was full of emotion and I enjoyed every second of it.

I fell in love with Allison in book 1 and herguys throughout her journey. Her growth has been immense through the series and in the end....well I was smiling so hard my face hurt. Thank you to J.E. Cluney for such a marvelous story!

Corviticus University: Forever Bound is the last book in the series in which author JE Cluney has kept us spellbound!

It is always bittersweet when you realize you will not be spending time with characters you have grown to love (unless, of course, you will be rereading those stories:)

This finale began with the agony of evil, but ended with the joy this family deserved. Creatively tying up story lines, we were privy to the love these characters have for each other.

What an end

I'm so sad to see this end, but I have absolutely loved this series. Forever Bound, gave me all the feels. There was action, Zombies, I mean who doesn't love Zombies. I cried, and once you read the book you'll understand why..I was happy and then ending gave me all the joys. J.E. Cluney did a wonderful and fantastic job with this series and it will always be a favorite of mine.

What a way to end the Corviticus University series! Ally and her mates have been through a lot and Forever Bound put them through the hardest trials yet, but together they are able to face it all. I am sad to see these characters go, but J.E. Cluney gave readers the perfect ending and I absolutely adore this book. I can't wait to re-read this series, and I look forward to this author's next project!

Oh I didn’t want this series to end. But what a great ending. Seriously this series was just amazing. This book had everything that I needed. Plus many of my questions were answered. Must be read from the beginning of series. You will absolutely fall in love with these characters since I know I did. Looking forward to seeing what JE Cluney has up her sleeve next. Definitely recommend this one. Loved it!!!

You know it’s sad when a series your reading comes to an end. I mean you’ve laughed with them, you’ve cried with them. Read their tragedies, their happy moments, lived every moment with them sand then it’s done. The end has come. So now it’s sad. I really enjoyed this series. All the characters were really well done, well developed. Had incredible growth throughout. Even the villain was done quite well. Such a good read and really good wrap up. Really neatly done all around. Loved it.

Well that was amazing end to an amazing series. I'm glad everything worked out really well because that was one doozy of a battle. I was not expecting those things to happen. But in the end I'm glad Marcus came out the way he did. He deserved it. It was lovingly wrapped up and everyone got their happy ever after. I am sad to see this series end but I am sure we will see another great series from this author.

“I can’t believe this is the end of the series. I’m gonna miss the guys and Ally but their journey ended and I loved everything about it. Book six gave ma all the feels. Don’t get me wrong there was action, they were tested but together nothing is imposible for them. I laugh sometimes and cry some others but definitely love every page. I fall in love with all the characters and it was amazing they way it ended. A must read that I highly recommend.”

Beautiful ending!

This book picks up immediately where book 5 ended. It was nice being able to to get straight into reading fresh material without having to be read recaps. It meant that we were immediately thrown into the drama and chaos that everyone had been dealing with. The ending (last 25%) was so magical and sweet and perfectly fitting. I loved it. Another amazing write and I really hope the circus gets its own series.

A good way to finish the series

I will be reading the epilogue shortly but this was a good finish. It was a bit of an epilogue in the latter half of the book too since the main action was mostly done at the 50% mark. It was a bit of a slog to get through the whole series, I’m not Allison’s biggest fan and I won’t be rereading these but they’ve been on my TBR list for a while so I’m glad I got through.

Imagine if the zombies in Walking Dead played a part in Janet's void from The Good Place.

Skimmed to the end. Sorry, JE Cluney, not a fan. Books 1-3 were decent. Books 4 and 5 were filler. Book 6 is 99% filler, mundane details like what they ate, how long it took to cook, who was where while it was cooking, what were they wearing, who told what jokes, who made what inappropriate comment, etc. What was the last 1%? Plot.

This book was everything. It closed up all the loose ends. I’m so sad to see Ally and the guys story end, but man what an ending. This has all the feels. Anger, happy, fear and sadness. The waterworks happen at a certain point; but so worth it. I’m not giving anything away with this one. You just have to read it. Definitely read in order.

WOW, OMG. This book, This was amazing and there was no putting it down. It moves along at a really nice speed making for a comfortable read. You will love the characters and no matter what happens you want to be there for them. The story will grab you and not let you go until you reach the end. This is a must read, and it needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.

I'm so sad to see these characters go! I have enjoyed this series from book one and the action, relationships, and overall storyline have gripped me from beginning to end! Forever Bound tied up the story with emotional moments and a multitude of questions answered. It was perfectly steamy, and well worth the roller-coaster of emotions!

Very good

Ah well, Allison and her men are definitely what Maple Groves need. Their adventure really takes off in this book. It is exciting and emotional. (I cried, I won’t lie) The ending is amazing and I love how it is setup to finish this part of the series yet leave it open for other series to develop. Great read!

Wow..... this is the final book in this series and what a book it was. It was full of emotion and the story that flowed through as brilliant. You often feel unsatisfied with a series conclusion but you have none of this with this finale. Everything was finished off leaving nothing left to wonder about. A true pleasure to read.

I am definitely going to miss Ally and her men! That being said, I was very happy with the way things ended! I would absolutely recommend this book and this series!

First this is book 6 in a series so start at book 1. I'm nearly sad to see the end since I love the characters in this series so much but Josie gives us exactly what we needed. It delivers the action, the feels and everything in between. I'd say best in the series but I recently started a reread and so I fall in love again with the guys. This is a must read series!

Great ending to the series

This was probably my favorite of all the books in the series. It was filled with excitement and fun and love and tragedy and family and sexy times. It had everything you’re looking for at the end of a great series. It has a wonderful ending and there’s even a bonus epilogue available.

Good series

Good storyline, fun and hideous characters. Brings you up and down with emotions. Between love stories finding their true mates and her grandma finding love again, and hate from an old warlock who is plotting to take over the world, it's a good story.a little long 6 books but it was worth it.
