David DeLee is the award winning author of the Grace deHaviland Bounty Hunter series, including the novels Fatal Destiny, Pin Money, With Intent to Deceive, and Take Down. Beginning with a flashback ten years previously and then a court hearing in the present day, an old case is re-examined. Former prosecutors, police and old colleagues are caught up in this latest instalment of the Nick Lafferty crime series. An action-packed thriller, with murder investigations, fragile loyalties, local politics and conflicting agendas all conspiring to culminate in a smart crime adventure. A four-star rating. Laverty is a very good series

A good three book series; good characters, plots and action ( tho a few questionable moments). The most distracting problems for me occurred in the final book when it seemed the editors must g ave fallen asleep. Shame!!
