A Marquess' Miraculous Transformation
After the death of her father, an esteemed doctor, Lavender Philips is left without money or social respect. When her friend, Melora, informs her of a work opportunity at the estate of a nobleman, Lavender sees this as a chance to finally move forward. She might be hired as a simple servant, but her father's legacy of medical knowledge is still within her. Therefore, when the Marquess needs her, she is willing to offer her help and ends up nursing his broken heart too... Another amazing story
This is another amazing story, with a plot that keeps you enthralled from start to finish. The plot has just the right amount of mystery, and emotional twists and turns. The characters are wonderfully crafted, with the strength to overcome their villain and obstacles. The extended epilogue is used for great effect to bring their story's to completion. This is a great book that would be suitable for all those who love clean historical romances that have a bit of suspense. I read an ARC copy.

Lord Ronan Beckman, Marquess Of Bolster was going to visit his friend Harold James, Baron of Wright. When his coach suddenly stopped and he discovered he been stopped by Highwayman. His coachman started to fight them and he got out of the carriage to assist him and things went from bad to worse, as the Highwayman were leaving they toppled the carriage over on to Ronan breaking both of his legs. He was a bear to get along with because of his legs and his mother started looking for someone to dedicate themselves to looking after him. And they hired Lavender Philips as his dedicated nurse until he no longer needed her. Abigail Agar has written a delightful book with the happily ever after ending. The book is well-written and extremely readable and has a few missteps in it that get straightened out and we get a beautiful ending...

Ms. Agar is one of those authors I watch out for I love her writing and I enjoy reading her work. In this tale Lavender Philips's father has passed but left no money and because he was a doctor no real social standing and she is in a bad place. When a job offer comes her way to goes to work for Marquess Ronan Beckman little did she know that she just may have found her soulmate. This is a charming tale about a wonderful character who is such a giving person and a man who needs to open his eyes to the truth before him. It is a really good story and I enjoyed the time I spent reading it. I highly recommend this one.

Lavender took A job as a maid that knew about medicine Lord Robin Beckman injured in a robbery needed constant help and he thought less of stations beneath him Lavender was so kind he fell for her but fought his feelings.There are twists and turns but the pair are together in the end .The characters are very charming and emotional.The extended epilogue is very good and a happy ending occurs for all involved except the culprit A good read

She ends up desperate when her dad dies but is saved when a friend finds her a maid job. Thing is she has a lot of her dad's knowledge as he was a doctor. The man she is employed for has both emotional and physical problems. She helps him heal them both as their feelings for each other grow. But in comes another person to cause a lot of problems. It is intriguing, exciting, suspenseful, emotional and much more. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I chose to read and review this book. I am a fan of the author and love her work a lot. This one was well written as usual with an amazing plot and characters. It has a great storyline. I liked how the characters meet and interact together as well as with the other characters.It is a suspenseful action emotional book with so much more that got me hooked from the start. I recommend it big time you will it

This isn't my usual genre to read, but I took a chance on it, and I really enjoyed it. The plot was done with good vibes, without seeming to be fake. Sometimes these plots are not done very well and you just knew how it was going to play out. This storyline had a twist that was surprising. Very well written.

Tedious.Needs another edit. Many scenes are repeated sometimes the characters repeated words verbatim. A disappointing read.

Nice read
To have a job where you can use your skills that your father taught her. To find a very bitter man that needed healing to help him to become a better man. To have a lady who was jealous of the maid try to ruin her life by setting her up so she would have her out of the way. But to have it all come crashing down around her. To have a happy ending.

Good read
I think that the characters were very well developed. True to life where the affluent think they are more privileged than the working class. I enjoyed how all of the plot and the plans came together for that happier ever after. I recommend this book and this author for those who are looking for a great read.

Characters were weak
The male character was wish washy, easily persuaded against the lead female and not a well developed character. The female was weak in character and was written to have no self worth. Story line was boring and too much ruminating from the characters that was annoying.

I really enjoyed reading this book! The guy broke both legs to begin the book and then the girl was hired to take care of him! Down the line of course they start caring for each other. I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance!

Love can overcome many obstacles
What a great story! Lavender was a strong and kind with integrity. Her honesty and integrity were questioned several times. She overcame all of the hardships in her life and love won out.

Ronan and Lavender. Not very likely, but a good yarn! It would be nice to believe it could happen like that for people from such different clssses, but unlikely!

Loved the story. How physical imperfections can remove some of society's stringent rules, allowing for flexible thinking. With loyal supporters anything is possible.
