This book is for you if… you had any sort of feelings for the other books in the series. (If you didn't: what's wrong with you?) If you haven't read them yet, kindly head over here to start the journey you won't ever want to return home from.

Overall.
It said "published" on Goodreads long before the arc of The Ever Falls was even reachable and this is how you break a Gunther-lover, my friends. I needed this book more than oxygen. To this day I keep thinking of this series when I wonder whether venturing into the arc-reading 'business' was a good idea. There were a lot of fails, but this series isn't one of them. The Fractured Empire was such an unexpected win! I'm incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to read this series because it was an absolute blast!

Let's get the nasty stuff out of the way, shall we? What I didn't like about this book:
1. It's the final one in the series

2. There's too little Gunther*

I really liked how the whole story came together in the end. The Forgotten World left a few things in the open I definitely wanted to have cleared up with this final book and it happened. I love it when al the threads come together in the end! Especially when it was so heartwarming.

I'm still blown away by the writing skills of the author pair! They really make turning the pages as easy as pie and that's literally the best thing that can happen in a book. The world they dreamed up is absolutely magnificent. Aside from Gunther, Levilia's oversized dogs are still my absolute favourite.

(If you're not absolutely ecstatic about the idea of keeping gigantic dogs as pet, I really don't know whether I want to be associated with you. I mean come on.)

In the end, some more Clarke and Addie time would have been appreciated but I definitely can't complain. I'm crushed to see this series come to an end. At least I can return to this world whenever I want to. Thank you so much to Robin and her husband for inviting me to that first book and making sure I stayed till the end. It was a blast.

*It is a universal truth that there can never be enough Gunther. And yes, I was joking. Partially. Maybe.

What’s happening.
‘‘We’ll be right back,’ she told Shensi as if the tiny antagonist could understand her.’

Spoiler Alert; they didn't. This is Addie and the Nobles Brothers' last mission

4 STARS. Would stay up beyond my typical hours to finish it. I found some minor details I didn't like, agree with or lacked in some kind but overall, this was enjoyable and extraordinary.

This book, guys.... this book <3

This was the best ending I could’ve hoped for....

This series has meant so much to me and seeing how Robin weaves in real characters with real issues and limitations coupled with heartache and banter and laughter, even in the worst of times, made this story really come alive.

I was so nervous what this final book would do to the characters who have become like family to me, and while there was some heartache, there was also a lot of love.

I seriously cannot say enough about this book. About ALL of these books!

The Ever Falls was everything. It was the ending that this series deserved, and I truly hope there will be more to come later... (Can we get allllll of the spin offs please?!)

this series has been a wild ride from start to finish ✨

I absolutely adored this found-family of 3 brothers falling for 3 badass girls and 3 grumpy generals/directors who have to babysit them 😂✨

This series is such a lovely read. The world building, with its Steampunk aspects, is fantastic. The characters are some of my favorites. They are not perfect. They falter. They require recovery when they experience trauma. You know, like real people. But the love and sacrifice within the series is what stays the most after the last page is turned. Laughter was had, tears were quite literally shed. And I find myself content with the end. Well done.

All I ever wanted from The Fractured Empire was for my ship to sail, but sometimes one needs to count the cost first…

Which I promptly did not.

And I paid the price in The Ever Falls.

What a breathtaking story for multiple reasons! When I saw other readers mentioning that their heart was broken and then stitched together and then broken again only to be stitched together one last time (which is honestly the reading experience this whole series LOL), they were not lying. I thought I was doing okay for about half the book, but I was wrong once I GOT halfway. So so so wrong!

But let's talk about the writing for a moment. Usually that’s not something I mention in my reviews, but wow! This author wasn’t ever a "bad writer" from when she first started by any means, but I can see how much stronger her writing has gotten. And it’s so very good. Seriously, every line just feels deeper and the way she can convey things is inspiring to me as a writer. I was extremely impressed!

Now the story itself was extremely good. We saw old faces, new faces, and just felt so many emotions. If I could have, I would have read this in one sitting and almost did! But I did end up putting it down (twice) another time because THINGS WERE SO INTENSE! I actually went and cleaned my kitchen because I was so worked up! LOL! I'm glad because it helped me refocus and I needed it because I was a hot mess by the end! LOL! Again, for multiple reasons, but it was such a good story!

I want to also highlight how this book raised some VERY good questions! Like the conversations are deep and hard-hitting and they do not leave any room for argument. Just deep contemplation and what is considered "right" and what is considered "wrong." It was probably one of my favorite parts because I was extremely interested to see how these characters respond and what they will do.

Lastly, The Ever Falls was the ending I hoped for even though there were certain times that genuinely were heartbreaking.

I highly recommend this series if you like steampunk, fantasy, snarky characters, and excellent character growth! Just remember to have your tissues on hand!

Just like the other books in the series, this one was very enjoyable as well. In my opinion, it concludes the series nicely. Of course I'm always said when I have to say goodbye to certain characters, but the continuing story of the others provides hope. There are a lot of POV's in this book, something I normally dislike because it often slows down the story a lot. That was not the case in this book, Clark and Addie are still the main focus of the storytelling, but you still get some great insights in the heads of the other characters by having their own chapters as well. I'm really glad I read this series, it's so full of adventure, great friendships, a few love stories, some magic and cool inventions.

Thank you Robin D. Mahle for giving me an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I really liked the books.

This was literally perfection. Robin D. Mahle finished this series beautifully. I'm not gonna lie; I was all in my feels. It has been awhile since I cried like that in a book. The adventure and suspense that I've come to expect in this series was still present, but the romance was the sweetest. There are plenty of monsters and nightmares to overcome, and the character growth was wonderfully done throughout the series, and culminating in this final book. I can say I'm literally devastated to be done. I can't recommend this series enough!

This book had a perfect ending. There was not a happily ever after for everyone. Real pain, real loss, and real feelings were explored in depth from page one until the end. I laughed and cried right along with Addie. I fretted and worried with Clark. I plotted and critiqued like the General. And I loved every moment spent in this world. Thank you, Robin, for an amazing adventure!

My gosh... I was so excited about this book, and I was so nervous to read it because I knew this was the end. Through the entire book, I thought I knew exactly what was going to happen. Alas, though, I wasn’t ready for what actually happened. This was an excellent conclusion to one of my favorite stories I read in 2020, even if I did cry through the entire last 15% of the book. If you won’t read this book for any other reason, read it for Biscuit and Shensi.

p.s. Clark is bae.

I received a copy of this book from the author, Robin D. Mahle. This is my honest review.

The long awaited sequel is finally here, and boy am I sad to see it end!
All these characters are so amazing in their own way, and relationships they all share with one another just make it such an interesting read.
Addie has come a long way from the spoiled heiress we came to know and love. I love the fact that she didn’t become this amazing warrior who needed no one to fight her battles for her. She still couldn’t fight in a war, with next to no knowledge of how to fight and being there to essentially just distract. I think this was a great change from the characters who go from the weak fighters to the best fighters we’ve ever seen.
The ending shocked me a bit! I wasn’t expecting what happened, and I’m kinda sad it happened! But mostly everyone had a happy ending, and that was the best thing we could have asked for!

I highly recommend this series. I loved it from the moment I started reading, right jump until the end!

I hate endings. It's so hard for me to read finales, but I couldn't stop with this one. It was everything a finale should be, and it destroyed me in all the best ways. I am officially obsessed with this series and already want to start over.

The entire journey was so well executed. The characters own my heart and soul. I laughed, I cried... I cried some more. Seriously, I full-on ugly cried, but it was so worth it.

This series is one I will revisit time and time again. There was never a moment that lulled or dragged, making it difficult to continue. The entire thing was engaging, action packed, and just incredible. I loved seeing the plot unfold and the characters grow. This book--this series--is everything. I cannot recommend it enough.

The Ever Falls is a perfect conclusion to the epic Worlds Apart series. When I finished this book, I sunk into my covers and sighed, a contented smile on my face. We couldn’t have asked for a more fitting, thrilling, and engrossing end to this tale.

For such a divided, sprawling world, it’s amazing that there are no loose ends here. We understand the Court of Yomi, we catch up with Perry, we see Levelia find a path forward, and even the well being of Shensi and Biscuit is considered in these pages. For such a fantastical world, it’s clear Robin has meticulously kept track of each of her moving pieces and treated them with respect and care, while also imposing logical limitations.

This story is perfectly paced, relentlessly pushing forward to the final epic decision Addie, Clark, and Nell need to make. I couldn’t put it down, and before I was ready I realized I was halfway through! I got lost in the story and the adventure.

As a dire-hard Clark and Addie shipper, this book was downright delightful. It’s refreshing to read a story that moves beyond the will-they-won’t-they while still ramping up the tension. Addie and Clark have a difficult time progressing beyond the trauma of Addie’s forced, abusive marriage to the emperor and the assault and violence he inflicted on her. But it’s clear from every turn, these two love each other. They want to spend the rest of their lives together. They just don’t know how long that will be.

It’s also refreshing to see how our motley crew comes together for their final, epic battles, before going their separate ways. I wondered if we would ever truly see Clark, Gunther and Xavier split up and chase their own dreams. I feared we would see the sitcom trope of everybody walking off into the sunset together. But these boys have become men on this journey as they prevented the world from ending. Now, knowing nothing will ever break the bonds of brotherhood, they are free to chase their individual dreams, and to do so without fear of the dark cloud of the General’s bad reputation over them.

I eagerly read every word of this book — heck, I’ll say it, I binged it — and I almost regret that, because the end came so quickly as a result. I’m sad to know I won’t get any more of these wonderful characters. But they couldn’t have met a more satisfying conclusion.

OK, Robin, where's your next book? Because I'll follow your words anywhere!!

" I took a deep steadying breath, raising my hand to the amulet when a piercingly familiar voice froze me in my tracks. "Wait!" "

This was the last chapter I read the other night before I had to return to reality and take care of things like dinner and other mundane stuff! But my mind kept going back to that sentence! I couldn't for the love of HiLa figure out who that familiar voice belonged to. Was it someone who we thought was dead... or just someone who we didn't expect?

I would even go so far and say that I entertained the idea that it was Shensi... Addie's cat! I mean anything was possible in this series! Flying boats! Magical amulets! 3 handsome brothers! Floating islands! I mean this series had it all!

Part of me wish I stopped reading when I got to that part! Then perhaps I would not have felt like a part of my soul died and took 2 days to feel emotionally stable enough to even write this review!

I think I knew who it was all along and I knew what was going to happen... it was written in the legends of old! But I still wasn't prepared!

Confession time: Every single time I finished with one of the books on the series, I nagged and begged Robin to send me the next one and I never bothered to read the "About the Author" part. If I did I would have known that it wasn't just one person writing these incredible books that changed my life! It's in fact a husband and wife who's so talented and so in sync that I never would have guessed it was two very different imaginations that created this world in which I want to live for the rest of my life! (Well minus the "OMG we're all gonna die" part!) These two are #CoupleGoals!

This is the last book in the series and I really struggled to say goodbye to these characters... and I'm still disappointed that no one is wearing corsets and buckles or that ships don't fly and that no one... and I mean absolutely no one!... is wearing those flying goggles! I really want a pair of those! I want to pack my bags and climb inside this book and live there for the rest of my life!

If you haven't read this series yet... what are you waiting for??

I’m so sad this series is over! I absolutely adored this series, and this ending was perfect! Bittersweet endings to me are the best.

The story again starts where the previous one left off, and everyone one is a little jumpy(especially Addie. Gosh my heart goes out to her!). However, they can’t stop to rest, they have to go back to Addie’s old home and find her father, who they believe is not being very honest about stuff. Until they reach her home and it turns out, there’s a different organization that’s taken over the land and have kidnapped Addie’s dad in the meantime, known as Spectrum. So, now they have to deal with this crazy leader who has this plan he thinks is best which basically involves having most of the population perish using the artifact Addie has in order to save the world. Sounds like a great plan. NOT!

I will admit I kept thinking Addie is gonna get kidnapped again, and so I may have suffered through a lot of anxiety through this book, but it was worth it! I just love how strong Addie is and how she keeps going no matter what, and her willingness to help her father despite the choices he’s made and the things he’s done. She’s truly admirable, and I really cannot get upset with this girl because she’s been through hell!

The Clark, who I just admire so much for his patience, especially with Addie. It’s hard to know what to do or say, especially with those who suffer from any form of depression. I love how was willing to do anything for Addie, even help her father. I also loved watching Clark basically grow and learn that, although his own father maybe did terrible things and made not so great choices, that everyone makes mistakes and we have to learn how to forgive, not hold onto our anger(thank you Gunther!). Addie and Clark really were in similar situations, having to come to terms that those closest to them may have done terrible things, but they’re still family and it’s better to forgive than to hold onto that anger and let it fester.

I’m so sad again that this is the end of this series! I loved the story, the world, and most of all, the characters. They will all always have such a special place in my heart, and I look forward to rereading these one day, and being able to read them in one swoop. If you haven’t already, you should read this series!

The premise of the Ever Falls is so interesting. A split in the middle of the world that divides the two.

The story to reunite the two, however, is a bit more complicated. Or so you'd think.

I think that the best part of this book was the decision to attempt to reunite the two halves of the Ever Falls.

The worst decision was who tried (but failed) to do it. Looks pointedly at Addie...

Though, I must say, Nell saving Addie from doing it was something I didn't foresee. I thought the leader of Spectrum, RyLand, would try and stop Addie, but then see it was possible and try and do it himself.

If you think through the character development and plot of the last book, though, it makes sense that Nell followed Addie there as soon as she can and sacrificed herself. Especially after you learn all the plans she set in motion before the big battle, like the peace treaty with Perry and the democracy that's established in her wake. Go you, Nell. Take a decision away from Addie for once.

Addie, Addie, Addie...what are we going to do with you? I still can't bring myself to like her, but I think that is turning out to be a good thing. She is purposefully full of grief and an inflated sense of responsibility that drives all of her actions and decisions. While I may not like her, her decisions make sense. It may not be the growth I wanted to see from her, but she has dealt with enough trauma in her life that I don't think it would fit if she somehow left the story a new person.

Clark is still just fine. There is nothing wrong with Clark. I think letting Addie adjust on her own after Nell's death while he built them a boat was a decision I could see him making. She needed to figure it out, and for him not to hover. I just wish she gave him a little bit more. I think he deserves a little bit more.

Gunther is a sweet lil bean boi. We all knew that. Him finding a love interest in BeLa, another brilliant scientist, is wonderful. I hope they have sweet lil bean brilliant children. All the children. I'll take a spinoff, please!

One last thing, I liked Nell's sacrifice because it is a good way to circle through the story. I believed her when she spoke about feeling bad for sticking Addie with the necklace in the first place. She seemed to really want to make things right, and give Addie a chance at a life she is so bent on destroying. Good for you, Nell.

The only grievance with this story is I wish it was a little more battle-heavy. I found I don't necessarily love the politics of war, which this centers more around.

Lead Characters: 3/5
Supporting Characters: 5/5
Plot: 3/5

With Addies father captured by Spectrum, the enigmatic force behind many companies and evil acts, they team have no time to celebrate their recent victory. This epic conclusion finds Addie, Clark and all their family and friends in a race against time to find a way to stop Spectrum and the end of their world. What are they willing to sacrifice to save the world and save each other?

⚡️ Multiple POV

⚡️ Steampunk and magic

⚡️ Slow burn and intense romance

⚡️ Lovable characters and great plot

⚡️ Feel all the feelings!

Wow, this book was a ride! I was up and down, happy and worried and devastated. I had all the feelings honestly. There were times I was absolutely shocked with how things were turning out and the completely shocked when it didn't turn out that way. I love reading a book that can surprise me with its twist! The characters, like in each book, were every bit as lovable as they have been. I enjoyed getting to know Perry a bit more thanks to the addition of his POV. I also really loved understanding Addy and her father's relationship a bit more. I think one of my favourite scenes is the wedding scene (the 3rd weddingnin the series), and yes, i cried. It was so beautiful and knowing what was going through Addy's mind and ehat was coming next made it feel so important and beautifully devastating.

The ending of this book was so satisfying. I love when a book rounds up the loose ends so I don't have to spend the next week of my life frustrated and wondering what would have happened next.

My thoughts on The World Apart series as a whole:

I thoroughly enjoyed this whole series. It made me feel so many things, I connected to the characters, I was enthralled by the plot and surprised by most of the twists. It's a series I absolutely recommend (but check the triggers first) and I will happily read this one again!

I give the whole series ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Everything that has ever tried to separate us has failed, Addie, and it will keep failing.”

Love, love, love this series. Don’t know what took me so long to finish it but it was worth the re-read to get to the end. All the characters are so wonderful, full of depth and heart. I don’t think I have many series where I can say I have this many faves. Gunther, Addie, Clark, BeLa and even Nell by the end, they’re just the best. Truly the author is able to make you love and appreciate these characters all in unique ways for their own stories and everything they’ve gone through. Normally I’d fuss about the shortened timeline and how quickly things happen but it all works so well.

Nell’s choice? Made so much sense in the end no matter how heart-wrenching it was. Clark and Addie? They’re the epitome of love means making it work, even through their darkest moments, their grief, their emotional issues and baggage they keep choosing one another when it’s hard. I appreciate the author so much for showing a romance with two characters who choose to stick it out, to recognize that things may not have had the perfect circumstances or timing but they can make better from it, together. Just such a perfect ending for them.

This series is such a hidden gem and so worth the read. The romances are sweet and swoon-worthy, the characters wonderfully relatable and the world immersive without getting overly complicated. If you’re looking for the best found family, love that heals and a story that pulls you in to the end then definitely pick up this series, you won’t be disappointed!

I have so many feelings right now. I'm left similar to how I was after the events of book 3. I loved the imagination of this series, but again while I'm happy about some of it, other things have me confused.

Things felt in a bit of a rush to cross the finish line. I'm glad we did finally get some answers, and that Clark finally eased up on the creepy possessive thing (I still can't get over how he insists on called Addie "my wife" constantly though; thin line, boy-o, thin line). Addie and Clark are far more, ahem, heated than at the start of this series where the all came across so stilted and cold. Three months of book-time and so much happened with so many changes that the time-frame felt the hardest part to suspend disbelief for!

Character-wise, the resolution was what was needed. Everyone got their closure, and thank goodness for that! The romances have been utterly exhausting. I'm not 100% sold on the romantic antics as they were quite dominant and heat-driven rather than sweet or emotional, but how things between everyone worked out was the closure it needed. As for family and friendships, like the last book I still felt things happened so fast there wasn't as much of the character time that there used to be. I wished Addie and Nell's friendship had had more time to really shine. Lots of conversations happen, and sometimes I got a bit lost (take that with a massive grain of salt - I have a brain like a sieve for big central casts). I also missed the Gunther-time as he's always been such a cinnamon roll but now he's got a girlfriend he's always busy with her rather than on-screen tinkering.

There are a lot more POVs than in previous books, and sometimes I found it hard to remember who I was reading.

Then there's trying to keep track of the super-secret mythology plot in the background had me keeping notes! I couldn't help but feel the world legends adventure competed with romance for plot dominance... and romance drama kinda won as the series went on.

I'm not going to lie and say this story ending felt perfect, but dang, you don't get ambitious world building like this to back up every romance story. Hats off to being different for the romance too; it's not stuck in smush or smut, it's just some damaged people trying to work out if their hearts do have room for something other than their own personal pains.

It is the ending that this series needed. I think this is totally one to binge on rather than snack, because there are so many plot threads behind the romance that take a lot of following. It's been a wild and original ride that's left me with so many feelings it's hard to unpick.

I'd recommend it for people who like turbulent romance, fast-paced action, and complex plots to keep you guessing.

My mental health is officially in the drain because this book has hurt me SO MUCH. As always, I am so happy that Robin D. Mahle is able to provoke such emotions in me- especially the way life has been going lately. The last like 20% of the book got my jaw hanging from its hinges because I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT TO HAPPEN! Maybe if I paid attention more, I wouldn’t be caught so off guard, but it still wouldn’t lessen the shock.

Regardless of that, I didn’t like the book as much as the rest of the series- which is really devastating because its the final one. I wasn’t immersed into the plot as much this time, that’s why it took me so long to read. It wasn’t until the last quarter of the book that I was actually unable to look off my screen. I won’t bash the book that much because perhaps my expectations were too high, and that’s why I was so disappointed.

HOWEVER, I still did like the book for the characters and the romance. I could feel emotions pouring from the pages, and their feelings are just so evident and I am just so full of life! I know, I desperately sound like a hippy talking about love and life- but if you read it you would understand. I cannot stress it enough how BEAUTIFUL the world structuring it, and how much of an honor it’s been to finish this series.

Thank you to the author and publisher for providing me with an ebook advance reader copy for free- in exchange of me leaving a review both honestly and voluntarily.

I feel like I’ve been waiting on this book for years, anxiously sitting on the edge of my seat needing to know what happens to Addie and Clarke.
Now that it’s here, it didn’t disappoint.
Addie has been through so much trauma but she’s one of the strongest characters there is. She’s able to finally let herself love Clarke and it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the book.
There are so many themes I didn’t see comes from. Family. Love. Friendship. Ethics. My favorite line - and I may not be quoting this right- was “Is it worse to be willing to sacrifice those you love to save the world or sacrifice (I forget the exact wording, but something like the world) for those you love.
Addie is inexplicably human. It’s the best thing about her. She isn’t some hero who can do no wrong like most female MCs. She makes bad decisions, selfish ones, decisions she knows others won’t be okay with. But then she is also willing to sacrifice herself.
Then there’s Nell. We get a ton more development with her here and the friendship with Addie is so special.
That ending though... had me in tears and I’m not sure I’ll ever get over it.

The conclusion of this series certainly has all of the emotions in it.

There is not a single person who hasn’t been touched by the silent explosion and resulting issues, but somehow, it may be able to be made right again.

Nell is Queen of Levelia, even if that isn’t a life she wanted to lead. In this, she has to decide how to rule her country as well as what to do about the issues in the world under hers.

Addie, Clark, Gunter, Xavier, General Noble, Locke, and Nell all travel back to Central Island to battle RyLand. The rebellion against Spectrum is already in place, but will this group be able to work with the rebellion? Or will the people running it pose a problem? Will they be able to get the world into a state where the ecosystem isn’t completely failing? Will they all make it out alive?

Each and every character grows and develops tremendously throughout the series, making for a world you can truly immerse yourself in. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys fantasy and adventure.

Book 4 in the World Apart series - Audiobook Review

Narration brings the characters to life. Great voice distinction for each character, capturing their individual personalities.

The series wraps up nicely, yet very emotionally, in this final book of the series. I shed many tears! It's an action-packed roller coaster ride of emotions during the final life-saving mission for the group. Each character has experienced tremendous personal growth. I love all the world building and intricate details to each setting. I'd previously read the series before listening to the audiobooks, and I felt the same emotions. I love when a book can evoke such strong emotions from me. One theme that solidified itself in this book is...Family is more than blood.

Hiding in plain sight. Willing to die for a cause. Sacrificing the few for the many. Loving larger than life itself. Living in the moment. Healing every wound. Righting every wrong. Sacrificing for the greater good.

"Always."
"Justice is rarely ever served in the way we want it to be."
"Live."

A beautiful finish to a quartet that definitely takes you on an adventure.
I’ve laughed, cried, been devastated & angry but it was all worth it. Every character that needed redemption got it & that felt satisfying to say the least.
The loss of Nell really hit me hard, but I totally agreed with the choice for her to be the one to fix what her ancestors did.
My thought is though, she has a sneaking suspicion as the time went on what would be required of her. Why did she drag Addie along? Because she was still deeply grieving the loss of mother & sister; Nell knew she needed to what she was made of & capable of. And to be connected with Clark was honestly the cherry on top, something Nell wasn’t entirely expecting. I could go on & on, but I’ll finish by saying this series was expertly written & I highly recommend!!

I received a copy of this book from the author.

This was the best finale for this book series.
I haven't ugly cried this much while reading a book in a long time.

I love everything about this book and series as a whole. The writing expertly brought me into this world to experience this group's adventure alongside them.
The pace was perfect for this novel and kept me riveted to my book.

I not only adore Addie and Clark, and their makeshift family but I loved reading about their relationships, romantic and platonic alike.
I was so enthralled with everyone's story that I cried, so many times, of sadness and happiness.

I feel that anyone who enjoys fantasy would appreciate the story of the World Apart series.

Fun Adventure

I have now read all four books in the World Apart series and I enjoyed each adventure along the way. I really liked the relationship between Addie and Clark. Two very different people from two very different worlds coming together. The author(s) does a good job with this fantasy world's creation. I also like how each chapter is a different character's narrative on the story. However, the only downfall I have with this series is that sometimes I get confused on who is talking. There would be a line of quotes in the dialog, but no "he said" or "she said" to distinguish who was just talking. Other than that, it is a great series, super fun to just get lost in. Full of heroism and sassiness.
