He’s my boss. My grumpy, jaded, fresh-out-of-jail boss. Falling for him is not okay. Too bad I’m already up-to-my-eyeballs in love.
I always imagined myself with my very own Prince Charming. The kind of man in those fairytales I grew up reading.
And when Eli Kingston shows up in Crescent Harbor—grumpy, jaded and fresh out of jail—I know he's not the one for me.
So what if I find myself living under his roof as nanny to his adorable daughter?
I can resist his wide shoulders, his muscled forearms, the big d*ck energy pinging off him like electromagnetic waves.
Like I said, he's not the one.
But seeing him turn to goo for his daughter? That's my weak spot, right there.
Watching him banter with his brothers? There goes another point in his favor.
Seeing him fight like hell to rebuild the life he lost when he got tossed into jail? I'm Team Eli all the way.
Soon, I discover that his kisses are magic. And when our bodies meet, it's almost too good to be true.
Now, I've got capital-F 'feelings' for my boss. Our love is unfolding like the storybook romance I've always dreamed of.
But here's the thing—Eli's not the only one with a secret. I've got a big, bad monster hiding out at the bottom of my panty drawer. (Not the battery-operated kind, unfortunately).
When he discovers that I’m not as innocent as I seem, will the pages of our fairytale go up in flames?
Mister Bossy is a steamy, laugh-out-loud, single dad and nanny small town romance featuring a schmexy ex-convict daddy with a big, big heart under a big, big layer of concrete. It is set in small town Illinois and is the conclusion to the Bad Boys in Love series.
I’ve been on a single parents drive lately, and fuck yes! This one was good! He was an asshole, without being toxic. He just spent way too much time in jail go remember how to even talk to a girl he wanted to FUCK HER BRAINS OUT. May I just say: SYRUP ON HER ASS?? YES PLEASE! Will deal with the UTIs later lol that was hot and so fucking cuteeeee! He did it to make her feel confortable and love herself , and I FELT THAT! Great story, even if I haven’t read the previous one’ s I didn’t feel like a needed to.
I loved the premise of this book and the execution was almost perfect. Eli is the last of the Kingston brothers. He gets out of jail early and tries to find a new normal as a single dad ex-con. Jesss has been the nanny for Eli’s daughter since he’s been in prison. She moves in with him to continue the job. Overall the storyline and the characters were really good. However, the book dragged and was bogged down in the middle without moving the story along. The story would have been a five star read for me if about 50-100 pages were cut out of the middle. Despite the dragging of some of the book, it has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, fan your face steamy, laugh out loud scenes, tearful moments, strong family relationships and heart squeezing love - expect to laugh, to swoon, and to cry.
Mister Bossy is the final book in the Bad Boy series and packs quite the punch. Its Eli Kingston’s book and its a roller coaster of a ride. He’s an Ex-con released from jail and is desperate to strike up a relationship with his young daughter. What he doesn’t count on is her nanny, Jessa! Needless to say the friction in this book along with the family issues and sizzling chemistry between Jessa and Eli, is quite something. Did Eli really do what he did or is he innocent? I loved the sense of family, the Kingstons are an amazing family and consider Jessa as one of their own. Little Callie is such a wonderful little girl. Can Eli be the daddy she deserves? Read it for yourself to find out. A fantastic enjoyable ending.
I thought this book was a real delight!! Humor, steam, sweetness, and heart make for a read that you are going to be quite happy to snuggle down with and simply enjoy. This single dad/nanny story had me suffering with a major case of the feels as the storyline unfurled, emotions grew and love entered the picture. This whole series was wonderful and I highly recommend each of the books in it. I'm sad to say goodbye to The Kingston Brothers but Eli's book provided the perfect way n to do it. This is my candid, volitional review.
Loved the final Bad Boys in Love story- focused on Eli and Jessa. Their love story starts out as the good girl vs. bad boy, but over time, they truly find their common ground and fight for each other. This story gave me all the feels, as well as some tears. While I hate to see this particular series end, Eli and Jessa ended it the best way. Highly recommend this story and the whole series!
I liked the other books in this series better than this one. The FMC was immature and nieve. Most of the book is her vacilating between thinking he's an asshole but not so she wants to have sex with him, marry him, and live happily ever after. She doesn't even know him! The author didn't tie in the Disney princess vs. Sex siren and so it came across inauthentic and like she was being fake. That, partnered with her creepy obsession with the MMC before they even met, made her hard to invest it or route for within the story. Also, her creepy background investigation on Eli made her the bad guy, but he was the one groveling and begging for forgiveness. If it were a dominant male character that pulled that same stunt and lied about who they were all while being a nanny to a little kid, there would be restraining orders. Instead she is somehow the victim because he kicks her out of his house and gets her away from his kid. Also, Eli keeps the stolen money....um...no...It was stolen from somewhere or someone. How does he deserve this stolen money even though he didn't steal it!?! Someone else still lost it. They were the victim. Or it came from the loss in revenue to his own company so he really did commit theft when he keeps it. The author had a great chance to address post-incarceration barriers and struggles. The story begins to talk about them, but again, somehow Eli's the bad guy all while everyone else fails to understand his anger or resentment. They all act like his incarceration never happened until there's another possible crime. Then all of a sudden his previous incarceration is now meaningful. Overall Eli comes off as an angry sad sack with a family that bulldozed his life and Jessa is a bit of a whack job who decides she's in love with a man she never met all while deceiving him and acting like a child.

Mister Bossy is the fourth book in the Bad Boys in Love series. It can absolutely stand alone, but it’s richer if you read the series in order. Jessa has been Callie’s nanny for the past two years, but now Eli is out of prison and wants to be the father he couldn’t previously be. But keeping his hands off of Jessa might be harder than he anticipated, especially knowing how much baggage he has. Jessa has secrets of her own, though, so is it possible for her light to bring Eli out of his darkness, or will there be too many obstacles to overcome to find their love?
Oh my gooodddnnneessss! I have been anxiously awaiting this book since this series started and it was amazing to love every single page in this book! Jessa and Eli and sweet Callie stole my heart and I loved that I got sucked into their story and barely put the book down once I started. I was so intrigued that this book didn’t quite go how I was expecting, and I couldn’t help but swoon over the connection they made with each other. Jessa is so bright and while she comes across as bubbly or overly optimistic, I think she was pretty well grounded and realistic. Plus I loved her romantic heart! She really wore her heart on her sleeve, had so much joy to share, and she never gave up on the those around her. Eli was angry and hurt and he had so many reasons to be so. I loved watching him slowly soften, not just towards his daughter, but also to his family and Jessa. I totally laughed that he got her name wrong for the first quarter of the book, but loved how much she meant to him by the end of the book. Their connection was steamy and one that could not be denied, but I also really enjoyed their softer moments, their vulnerabilities, and the ways they could make each other laugh. They made a perfect fit, even if they didn’t seem like it at first glance. I loved this book. I’m sad that this series is over, but really adored all of the siblings, all of their ups and downs, and all of the love that shines through the pages!
Hands down my favorite Cassie-Ann L Miller book to date! Actually this is by far one of my favorite books this year!!!
Cassie-Ann L Miller absolutely killed it with Mister Bossy. Gah, I can't word how fantastic this book is. It's sweet, it's sexy, it's heartwarming, it hits you in the feels, it's so well written you end up devouring it because how in the actual heck could anyone expect you to be able to put it down. Hot, passionate, witty banter, all the things Ms Miller is best at bring this story alive.... and it’s so flirty, sexy, fun, sweet, passionate and emotional, and I loved every single minute of it. Hands down my favorite Cassie-Ann L Miller book to date! Actually this is by far one of my favorite books this year. Wow...just wow! I’m still thinking and rethinking over everything that happened. Bravo Ms Miller!! So if you were reading this series like me, then you had to be waiting for this book. And it definitely lived up and beyond my expectations. Just wish I could give more than the 5 stars as this book totally deserves it. Actually the whole series does. One of my all time favourite series and I will definitely be reading again and again. So what are you waiting for, go grab your copy today. Make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy this one and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and series by this spectacular author. Happy reading everyone!!!
WOW!! I have been waiting for this book. I so wanted to see Eli get justice. I just knew that he was innocent.
Secrets! So many secrets!
Eli just shows up one day and no one knew that he was getting out of prison even though Cannon had his high powered New York lawyer working Eli's case, unbeknownst to most of the family. Jessa, Ms. College Graduate with a degree, can't seem to find a job she most wants as an elementary school teacher, so the Kingston's hire her to care for Callie, Eli's daughter.
When Eli demands to take his daughter from the family and to his house so that he can start reconnecting he is met with resistance since he has been gone for 3 years. The only way his parents would agree is if he took Jessa, the nanny with him.
Oh boy, what an outdamnstanding book this was. I couldn't read fast enough. I needed to get ALL the details and quickly....binged, yes, I did. I needed to see Jessa get her HEA and I needed to see Eli see Jessa as the caring, loyal person she is, and I needed to see Callie warm up to her daddy. AND, most of all, I needed to see Eli's EX go down in flames.
And the extended epilogue..........YES! I do love a HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
This book is a total must read for sure. But, please, please read the other books in this series first. Gah, I cannot wait to see what C-A comes up with next.
Eli the once successful and loveable guy is back and it isn't all sunshine and rainbows his wife's left without looking back, his parents have been raising his daughter and the nanny has a better relationship than he does with his daughter oh and yeah he has no job as there is no way he is going to work for his brother! I get Eli lashing out at times but it also confused me as to why he would be like that with his parents when they were always going to visit him and why wouldn't he tell them he was getting out early? I wanted to shake Eli at times for the way he treated everyone and how he felt he was the only victim in all of this, thankfully he has Jessa and if it wasn't for how she felt about him then she would have walked away I'm sure. You definitely don't know whether Eli and Jenna will make it to the head but you get to enjoy the emotional roller coaster full of laughter, frustrations, loss, anger and family who mean everything while Eli and Jessa work out what they really want!
The final story is in Bad Boys series. The final Kingston brother finally gets his story told. The single father who was mistakenly thrown in prison when he took the wrap for his now ex-wife...who not only abandoned him but thier adorable daughter Callie. Eli is now out of prison and having a hard time not only navigating his new freedom...but keeping his feelings for Jessa (Callies nanny) in check. With everyone in the small town looking down on Eli for being an ex-con, he's having a hard time believing in his self-worth...but it's ok Jessa believes in him enough for the both of them. Love Cassie and all her cuteness. And the Barbie & Ken scene 🤣🤣🤣. I am sad to see this series end but am looking foward to the new series coming out. Oh and make sure to download the extended epilogue at the end of the book. I love that Cassie adds that to each book...we get a bonus look into our favorite couples that is not included in the book.
An awesomely different ending to a wonderful series!
Book four in the Bad Boys in Love series by Cassie-Ann L Miller has a surprising twist— Eli is an ex-con!
And as the intro says, he’s angry AND he’s horny.
Eli’s backstory was revealed in book three, but no one in his family(!) truly believes he’s innocent. Except Jessa, his daughter Callie’s nanny (hired in book two), who is sister to Lexi from book one. And although she has her own little plot twist, she is that beacon of hope he first runs away from, then to. I loved seeing him unfurl from his anger and become the dad to Callie (she was hired to be her nanny way back in book two) he’s missed being for three long years. And how sweet he becomes… until.
I love that each of the Kingston brides choose the same wedding dress, mama Kingston’s. Totally swoony!
Eli is fresh out of prison for fraud. He is having a hard time and is bitter and angry. Having been away from his daughter for the last three years on top of being served with divorce papers as soon as he was sentenced he also had to deal with the fact that his wife abandoned the daughter as soon as he was arrested.
Jessa is the dreamer and the romantic of the group. She is also the nanny to Eli's daughter, Calli. Jessas introduction to Eli did not go smoothly at all. Things are tense especially that Calli clings to Jessa as she hasn't see her dad in three years.
This is the final book of this series and the last of the Kingston men to fell! Eli Kingston is fresh out of jail and mad at the world and his ex-wife in particular for abandoning their daughter Callie. The whole family and mainly his parents took over her upbringing along with her nanny Jenna. Jenna is a sweet kindergarten teacher who is now a nanny and has strong feelings for Eli. What happens when these live on the same roof and sparks flies is the journey they must endure. Can Eli let go of the past and the hurt to build a future like his brothers all have? A fantastic conclusion to this family series that leaves you feeling good. I volunteered to review this story.
I swooned, I cried, I laughed till I peed a little and then I actually cheered out loud with a Whoop Whoop!!! This final book in the series has it all and this story is full of all the feels. The Kingston Family Saga never disappoints and the love story between broody, angry Eli & sweet, loving Jessa brings this book to life. This is a true HEA of the best kind and is still a stand alone read even though it’s the final book of the series. But if you haven’t read Mister Billions, Mister Baller and Mister Baby Daddy yet.... go get them now. These four brothers will rock your world! Well done Cassie-Ann! Can’t wait for the next series.
This story was so much fun, Jessa is funny, quirky, and highly attracted to her new boss Eli. Eli is just out of jail, angry, grumpy and feels everyone is against him especially after he was incarcerated. Jessa is all sunshine and roses and treats Callie like she’s her own and all her bubbliness is driving Eli crazy, but Jessa is who has been helping take care of him while he was gone. The attraction is off the charts and Jessa has a little secret of her own. I loved the banter and the heat and really loved reading their story. I’m sad the series is over, but looking forward to what comes next.
Eli just got out of jail and goes home surprising his family. He is full of rage and resentment. All he wants is his little girl Callie. His parents have had custody while he was away and they will let him take Callie if the nanny goes too. Jesse is Callie’s nanny and she is sweet and fun. Eli agrees and Jesse and Callie go home with him. There is a lot of tension at first but things seem to start coming together. Can Jesse help Eli ? Great characters and storyline Highly Recommended. Awesome book Absolutely love Eli, Callie, and Jessa. Perfect ending
I have been waiting for Eli’s story for a while and it did not disappoint!! Understandably angry after his release from prison, Eli returns to his life feeling at odds with his family. He’s tormented, and frustrated, and has lost valuable time with his daughter. Jessa has stepped up and become a nanny to his daughter while he was away, and has developed a major crush on her new boss. I loved the dynamics and humor of their new situation as they navigate their new normal. It was funny and sweet and definitely steamy!! Great book, well worth the wait!
Wow! I have been on pins and needles waiting for Eli's book to come out and have a chance to prove his innocence. However, he's not interested in doing that, he just wants to rebuild his relationship with his daughter by himself. But to take custody of Callie, he must keep her nanny with her to help the transition. Hot, witty, entertaining and the perfect conclusion to the series. Many kudos indeed to the author. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This was the final touch of this series....50 wonderful stars
Thanks so much for having Eli's story end the series. I was waiting to read his story. Loved Jessa, Callie and him together after he was released from jail. They certainly had their ups and downs. Going to miss this family, it was so nice getting to know them. I will recommend this series of stories to family and friends. Written by Cindy :)
Where do I begin? Eli Kingston returns to his family jaded after spending a few years in jail. Jessa, the nanny living with his parents to help raise his daughter is secretly enamored with him. This is another lustful, fun, fall head over heels love story from Cassie-Ann L. Miller. I couldn't put it down! Love the bonus epilogue!
The absolute best ending to an amazing series!!! I've been waiting for this book since reading Cannon and Lexi's story! All those little things about Eli and Jesse and I just knew this book was going to be amazing. It is!!! Eli is a big bad wolf who learns to be a charming Prince for his sweet daughter! All the emotions play out beautifully together. And OMG the bonus epilogue was amazing!! I'm sad to see this series end but have a feeling I'll be reading it again!
This book is exactly why I enjoy reading so much! Watching a single dad loving on his kids is just the best! Eli has been thru hell. And now he has to carry on stigmatized by having been imprisoned. Now taking charge of his life, he comes off as being grumpy, angry, rude. His daughter has a nanny,Jenna. Happy. Energetic. Loving. This is their story. Soooo good! Lots of feels. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This book was so work reading. Excellent story . Callie was to darn cute . Eli can you blame him for all what he went through but he found happiness like his brother's . My favorite the mother was way to funny I loved her . And callie with the barbie dolls Ken and barbie naughty Ken omg I laughed so hard. I read that part 4 times it was so funny .I kept wondering about that money I was hoping oh no he really didn't do it. Gabby they all should of punched her out .
Slow burner of a read where you wonder if it’s worth it to continue reading as both characters aren’t what they seemed to be. However quickly heats up to a very hot and satisfying read. Eli was larger than life but oh so bitter and yet you understood why with the family. Jenna seemed too good to be true and yet what a character she turned out to be. Loved it, only wish we found out the ex got her comeuppance.
Mister Bossy is a taboo single dad/nanny. The magnetic pull between the two is palatable. He just released after serving time for white collar crime. He gradually slowly opens up and lets others in with the help of the nanny and his daughter. *I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
What do I say about Eli and Jessa? This book was amazing. It was hard to put down. Who does not like a bad boy? Jessa has a few tricks up her sleeve as well. This book has to be one of my favorites. Then Kingston boys are all very special to me. I'm sad to see the series over. But all things must come to an end. But if your looking for a great book this is it.
Reviewed thru Kindle Unlimited: Absolutely loved this heartwarming, steamy, romance filled with all of the feels you'll ever want...watching Jessa and Eli made my emotions all over the place. Grab this if you love a romance filled with angst, grumpies, laughter and tears❤❤❤❤❤
Another phenomenal book by Cassie-Ann L. Miller..she is an author that knows her craft..all her books so fantastic..love the small town and close family..Diane was hysterical..loved how this last book in the series played out...every book with a different brother was unique...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
