Sometimes the perfect Christmas is only an ice storm away.
Omega Stewart’s first Christmas since inheriting his family’s inn is going as well as can be expected. More than half the rooms are booked, he has activity lists for the guests, and the hours he spent on pinterest getting ideas for a Christmas tea he is planning were productive. Everything is perfect until the phone starts ringing and he suddenly finds himself overwhelmed and understaffed.
Alpha Roland plans to be home just in time for Christmas. He is going to spoil his nieces and nephews rotten, read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at least a dozen times, and make enough cookies for the entire town. It’s going to be yet another magical Christmas...that is until all planes are grounded when an ice storm rolls in. At least there’s a room at the inn.
In Roland’s life, he has never met another Roland, and yet, somehow, one takes his room at the inn—the last room. Now he has nowhere to stay. He can’t even be mad at the innkeeper, an omega who is barely keeping things afloat in the chaos. Without thinking twice, he jumps in to help. After all, Christmas is his holiday. When Roland offers to sleep on the couch, Stewart offers him someplace better—his bed.

This was a sweet Christmas story. I love these two authors and together they produce low angst happy stories. I love reading these stories at Christmas.
Sweater Weather is a Christmas story starring innkeeper Stewart, an omega, and Roland, a visiting Alpha. This is told in first from Stewart’s and Roland’s pov.
This was such a cute little novella! It’s basically an omegaverse Hallmark holiday movie in book form. It was just so cute and a great way to kick off my holiday reading. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the two main characters blended together a little bit. I felt like Roland had a more well defined voice in this story and Stewart’s voice felt a little more fuzzy around the edges. But otherwise, this was a lovely little read. Sweater weather is getting a 3.75 out of five stars.
I do admit that that was a bit better than I expected going in to the book to be honest. I'm always a bit wary of MPREG books for some reason because they usually have really ridiculous storylines that are SUPER FARFETCHED and paranormally and sometimes make me just feel like yelling at the book "LIKE HOW?" but this one was actually not super crazy and was kind of sweet. I do love a good cozy MM Christmas tale and omegaverses are always a plus!
Sometimes, ice can guide you to your happily ever after, just go with the flow! Stewart's Aunt Bea died and his portion of the inheritance was the Gingerbread Inn. He was executing his inaugural opening, when he realized an unexpected storm was worse and the registered guests started cancelling because of bad weather. Roland was in the airport waiting on his flight, when he realized the weather was really bad and flights were being cancelled. His main concern was the possibility of not being able to get home to spend time with his family. He was a bit slow and by the time he got to the last inn, his battery was down to one bar. He finally connected to the Gingerbread Inn and gave his first name, when he phone died. Stewart was about to embrace the disappointment of his opening's failure, when he got a deluge of reservations from stranded travellers. Roland connected, explined his phone situationa and gave his first name when his phone died. Stewart didn't have a moment to relax when all his last minute travelers seemed to arrive at the same time. A Roland showed up, but in his chaotic distraction, he realized it didn't sound like his disconnected traveler. Does Stewart have enough for all the last minute travelers? How long will the storm last? Can he really run the Inn, all alone? What happens when Roland shows up? Delightful story. I would want to visit this Inn during Christmas with Stewart as the Innkeeper. Totally fun. It would have been nice to hear more backstories. What exactly is Roland's job/career? Great story, well done!
Can an ice storm on Christmas Eve start the flame of love burning? Better believe it!
This is all I have come to expect from Lorelei & Aria. Sweet, poignant, tender; full of humor and romance and sexy times. And of course, HEA. This book takes place at the Gingerbread Inn. After his Aunt's death, Stewart takes over running the Inn. But on his first grand reopening day, an ice storm strands travellers and fill up all his rooms. A mix- up in names finds Roland without a room. But he is drawn to the sweet, flustered omega. Helping out just seems natural. Sleeping with Stewart is the icing on the cookies. Come. Join Stewart & Roland as they weather the storm and create an amazing Christmas Eve for all the guests, and find love in the process. Roland will have to decide what's important for his future. Reuniting with Stewart is that reality. Yes, this book has sexy times that lead to mpreg. It also has humor, comfort food, paper ornaments, and cookies. This is one delicious book! Ooh, did I mention Christmas sweaters? You have got to get this book! This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
I read a very disappointing Christmas mpreg story and it annoyed me that I'd wasted my time when there are so many great Christmas books piled up and waiting to be read. I needed a really great story to relax and push that other story out of my head. Well I found it!
If you have not read Sweater Weather get a copy right now and read it. Three doctors appointments in four days can be disheartening, but when you have a fantastic book by Hart and Grace it makes masked waiting room time fly by. A lone Omega running an Inn while the weather is nice is one thing. But add an icy snow mix it just gets crazy. How is one guy alone going to do everything needed with a suddenly full establishment and very demanding guests.
Luckily a very accommodating Alpha steps in to help. He helps the Omega turn a looming disaster to a swell time had by all including the proprietor. But all good things must come to an end, especially when one of the MCs is just passing through during the Christmas holidays. Real life is a jarring jerk from their happy bubble. But don't worry this HEA is worth the moments of angst.
Running a small inn for the first time is a challenge for anyone but running it alone is nearly impossible. Stewart inherited the inn from his aunt and figured he had everything under control for his first guests when a weather bomb changed everything. Suddenly he had a full house when the airport shut down. Roland was just trying to get home for the holidays and thought he had a room booked, but a dead battery meant Stewart only had a first name. By the time Roland arrives at the inn all the rooms are gone as another Roland arrives first and Stewart had no real reason to question the name. Roland is taken with the innkeeper and jumps in to help out unbidden. The two fall into a rhythm and Stewart offers Roland a place to sleep, his bed. Neither man was looking for a mate but when things work, they just work. Although this is definitely not a genre I read a lot of it was still an enjoyable holiday read.
"The words flew out of my mouth before I had time to really consider what I was saying. But as soon as I saw the shock and relief on Stewart’s face, I knew they were one hundred percent true." - Roland I loved this story so much!! Stewart is an omega and inherited his aunt's inn. He meets "his" Roland when a room gets accidentally booked by two Roland's, but that's when the fun begins. I adored how supportive and helpful Roland was. He could see that Stewart was very overwhelmed by all the unexpected guests and he came up with a lot of really great ideas to keep the guests happy and the Christmas spirit flowing. For a short book this had a great storyline, I was fully immersed in the book from the beginning and didn't want to put it down. I wish I would have read this sooner because it definitely gives the gooey, heart melting, feel good vibes!!
Stewart was a wonderful character, although, I did find it strange that the B&B had 12 rooms and when half of them were booked, Stewart didn't have ANY help set up for arrival day... now that was not realistic on his part... not even someone to help in the kitchen? *headdesk*
Roland? He is the one that impressed me... just jumping in and helping from the start! Yeah, he might have needed his brother's help to get his head pulled out of his a$$ when it came to realizing that love is where the heart is... not where the job is... silly boy, but I just knew that he would make the right choice in the end... right?
Storywise, be prepared for a lot of behind the scene details of running a B&B... just sayin'!
Sweater Weather by Lorelei M. Hart and Aria Grace is a wonderful holiday mpreg romance. Roland and Stewart are adorable together and their story is incredibly cute and sweet. They get a bit steamy too. I loved how Roland is an Alpha who loves his family and craves the closeness, who steps in when needed in helpful and creative ways. He is a perfect match for Stewart who loves to create a wonderful experience for everyone who visits his B&B. This is a sweet lovestory that made my holiday season even more happy, cozy and warm in this sweater weather.
Sweater weather was a cute Christmas time story. Stewart inherited the Gingerbread Inn from his aunt Bea. Not quite knowing what he’s doing, he opens the Inn just in time for a huge snowstorm. Roland is trying to get home for Christmas, when all flights are canceled he scrambles to find a room at the Gingerbread Inn. When there is a mixup in the registration, the two men find themselves sharing a bed. The storyline is fun and cute the characters are adorable.
4.5 🌟's | ahhh my first ever omegaverse book ! this one was more of a sweet one with the mpreg trope (don't know if that's the proper term IM NEW SORRY). super cute, christmas romance following an innkeeper MC (omega) and a stranded guest (alpha) that comes to stay at the inn - stuck in a snowstorm and having to tend to all the guests, innkeeper Stewart & guest Roland are thrust into a chaotic few days together that turns to... love :0000
this was so endearing and i can't wait to continue venturing into this genre :D
I had read and not finished two books before getting to this one. I wish I had read this one for because I loved it!! Stewart and Roland fit perfectly right from the start! I loved that Stewart was so strong and independent, and not falling all over Roland!! Roland just had to get out of his own way, and realize where his happiness was. Such a nice feel-good book!! 😍
Stewart owns/runs the Gingerbread House B&B. The weather turns bad and Stewart's inn is suddenly booked full up.
Roland THOUGHT he had a reservation until he arrived to check-in & learned another "Roland" had claimed his room. No stable but after Roland jumped in to help save Stewart's bacon, Roland finds himself agreeing to share Stewart's room.
This was a cute and short read with warm, cozy vibes. I do wish it leaned a little more into the alpha/omega universe, it felt a bit light on that aspect. Unfortunately, I didn’t love it as much as I was hoping to. It was fine overall, just not super memorable for me. I remember Omega’s Krampus Christmas by Lorelei Hart really standing out and giving me all the feels, so maybe my expectations were just a little too high going into this one.
These two men and their absolutely accidental meeting are just as sweet and as cute as can be. Stewart an innkeeper and Roland a stranded traveler find one another on the busiest day possible at the inn. Roland pitches in to help and Stewart winds up sharing his bed because there are no other beds available. You can guess the ending!
2.5 stars. The story was cute with nice and decent characters. It had an adequate storyline in an interesting holiday setting in a bed-and-breakfast. My main issue was with the lack of true feelings of love, connection or passion. I’ve never read a less passionate goodbye scene or a more boring childbirth scene.
This is one of those perfect feel good fast building relationship stories that make the holiday fun. These two men bond over a reservation mix up, winter story, and work that needs doing. Stewart is so sweet and determined. Roland steps in to help but it takes him a minute to realize what he really wants or needs in his life. I love the HEA of this holiday story.
I enjoyed Roland and Stewart’s story! It’s a sweet novella filled with Christmas cheer. Roland was particularly endearing and I liked that he wasn’t a typical overly macho alpha. He’s kind, thoughtful, helpful, and he loves children. Exactly what Stewart needs in his life
Well written story and well developed characters! Stewart has inherited his Aunt Bears inn. His family expected him to just sell it. But he decided to keep it and run it on his own! For his opening day, he decided to only be half full to give him experience as an innkeeper. Unfortunately, an ice storm changes his plans!
It starts with a ice storm which is always a good beginning who wants to get stuck in heat wave and alpha meets omega and then baby makes three. Read it you'll like it
The story is so sweet and warms your heart while reading. Stewart is adorable and Roland is his knight in shining armor. And if they just would see, what their hearts already know... Sigh.. I really can recommend this endearing Christman romance.
What a fun sweet holiday romance. This was a delight to read. Loved the storyline it was interesting and fun. The characters Roland and Stewart are perfect as a couple. There story is sweet and fun and full of holiday cheer. Great from start to finish.
It’s January 18th and I’m still reading Christmas books. This book was way too cute to past up. These two characters had chemistry like no other, and great sext times!!!! I’m so glad they got their HEA
It was a short sweet story of two men searching for love. Stewart wanted a family, Roland didn't think he had time for a family, he could borrow his family's kids. Read to see what happens when Mother Nature takes control.
TAGS -- Holiday/Christmas -- quick easy read -- non shifter mpreg -- very sweet -- insta lust/love -- likeable MCs... Roland & Stewart -- moved a bit fast -- definitely predictable but that's okay
A sweet Christmas read of an omega who accidently meets his alpha due to a snow storm when the alpha has not option but take refuge in his new Inn. Working together they fall in love and start to see a future together. Just what one needs at Christmas. Love wins
