Deep Down In The Bayou
Four friends all wanted a better life but at what cost? A trip down to the Big Easy quickly turns into one they will never forget. Aniyah wants what's best for the people in her life. After losing her mother, all she has is the love of her best friends, but her love for them may be more harmful than it is helpful. Destiny is a successful young woman but can't ever enjoy the fruits of her labor due to her extremely dependent family. Jayla is the most reserved out of the crew, but deep down, she wants to take a walk on the wild side after harboring past trauma from an incident that occurred during college. Tiana appears to be a sought after lead actress, but behind the smoke and mirrors, she's a type-casted hottie who only lands roles that calls for her to hide her intelligence and expose her assets. These friends are quickly brought back to reality when their wishes are not exactly what they dreamed of. Especially when they are being granted by Madame Leveaux.

BECAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!
This book was so good i couldn’t stop from the beginning. It was GirlsTrip meets Eves Bayou meets Lovecraft country wishmaster ,Meets the wonderful mind of Neicy P. I mean wow people don’t understand the grass is always greener. Very happy with the ending. Can’t wait for the next book.

Good read
This was good and I’m glad that it ended the way it did. There were so many errors in this book and it’s really starting to ruin the reading experience I usually get from Ms. P’s books. I just wish she would take her time and proofread or get a better editor, I don’t think I’ve ever given anything less than 4 stars to one of her books, but as a huge fan I’m super disappointed in the many errors.

Banger!!!
Neicy P is a beast with her pen! I don’t know how she does it but she has me afraid of my own roots and I’m from NOLA! This is definitely a must read! I couldn’t wait to get into this book and was too afraid to put it down! So many twists and turns! PLEASE READ! I NEED MORE OF THESE NEICY!

If be careful what you wish for was a book.
Whew. A simple girls trip and a visit to the local voodoo witch down in the bayou who will grant your one greatest desire turns into a life lesson for the four best friends. This book played out like a final destination movie. And at the end the message is clear be careful what you wish for because you might not like everything that comes with it. Neicy P did a great job with this one.

This was a such a good read, a little short but I loved it all the same. Why I think it was different from your previous world idk because let me tell you, you can write anything, about anybody anywhere, and I love it.. a must read.. that’s for sure. It was straight to the point and sweet.

Be Careful what Wish For
This book begins as a classic girl trip. 4 long time friends head down to New Orleans. Each is plagued with secrets and hurts. Adventure turns tragic when supernatural interventions were pursued. The story was good but the typos were annoying. All in all a nice read.

This might be great for someone else, but I find some of the language offensive. The word nig*a is used freely and frequently. I think the story was suppose to be scary or at least, creepy, but it didn't do that for me. The moral of the story is a basic, "cherish what you have". The writing is why I didn't care for this, NOT the story.

Creepy and Crazy Ride
Be careful what you wish for, everything is not better on the other side sums up this read. A little different from this author's normal paranormal books. Definitely the creepiest book I've read from her, but still entertaining.
