Christmas was her favorite holiday. With the name Krissy Kringle, that was kind of a given.
Krissy was looking forward to Christmas. Sure, it would be quiet, and she’d be alone, opening up the electric blanket her sister got her for Christmas, but she didn’t mind. After the hours she’d been putting in, quiet and uneventful seemed like just the thing.
She sure didn’t expect a sexy stranger, to come crashing into her life. One look into his midnight eyes and she couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to snuggle up to him instead of her new blanket.
Maddox Holt didn’t care that it was close to Christmas. He had work to do and nothing was going to stand in his way. Especially not a curvy, sassy, bed and breakfast owner. He was a loner, who wasn’t looking for a woman--especially one that had forever written all over her.
Maddox didn’t believe in love. But Christmas is the holiday for miracles...
This series of standalone is starting off on a good foot for me. I enjoyed this story of a scrooge like hero and a sweet heroine
-no cheating -no ow/om drama -virgin h/no info on hero but I felt it was a long time since he wss with anyone -no violence -mild steam -epilogue only 1 year out
I really enjoyed this. It was basically a Hallmark Christmas movie condensed into novella length. It was adorable, really well written, steamy but not too much and there was plenty of Christmas cheer. Even though Maddox started as a grump that quickly fell away when he literally crashed into Krissy's life in Mistletoe Montana. I highly recommend this. I can't wait to see what else comes from this series. I volunteered to read and review a copy of this. All opinions are my own.
If you’re looking for a Christmas hallmark movie condensed into a novella, then this is the book for you! Maddox and Krissy are adorable! Seeing this growly, angry CEO melt into a loving pile of mush when he encounters a sweet, kind B&B owner gives you all the holiday romance feels! Loved it!
Another cute story in this series. While I don't watch Christmas movies, I think this would be a perfect one to be filmed as one. Honestly? Maddox kind of ticked me off at the beginning. Rude, ego driven, hateful to his secretary and basically just not liking anything! That is until he crashed into a greenhouse that Krissy took care of. Krissy and her sister run the B&B in Mistletoe and they like doing things themselves. Krissy is just what someone like Maddox needs. She's gentle, sweet and kind and she changes him!! Watching him slowly change was nice to read. Cute story that was full of heat and love!!
OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Maddox and Krissy met when he almost hits a deer but swirls and run into her greenhouse. Maddox is trying to get back to California, he's in a rental car that's too small for him. When he hits a snow storm and almost hits a deer he runs into a greenhouse. Krissy is there when she hears the crash and soon realizes all her flowers have been ruined. When Krissy sees Maddox step out of his car, it's what she was just wishing for for Christmas. Krissy takes Maddox into her B&B to help clean him up. When Maddox wants to find someplace to stay she offers him a room. Maddox overhears Krissy talking about him the next morning to her sister. Krissy needs to get all of her guest prepared when the storm hits. So when Maddox asks what he can do to help she has him cut more wood for the fires. While Krissy gets all the supplies she needs plus makes sure her generator is working. Later that night Krissy and Maddox watch a movie together. As they talk about the movie and it's insta love connection. Krissy doesn't think that can happen and Maddox tells her maybe it could. Maddox makes a suggestion and Krissy asks him what is he waiting for. Maddox takes Krissy back to his room where he pleasures her, then they make love. When the snow starts to melt, Krissy doesn't know what will happened between her and Maddox. Maddox asks Krissy what's wrong and she tells him that the snow is melting and soon he'll be leaving. Maddox lets Krissy know he'll be spending Christmas with her. Krissy tells Maddox that she'll miss him she's falling in love with him. Maddox tells Krissy that he's in love with her also, but he's not leaving her. Maddox tells Krissy he'll go to California and finish up some of his business then come back to Mistletoe. When Maddox take one of Krissy's cookies she's working on for her sister's charity, he can't believe how good they are. Maddox asks Krissy if she knows about his company. Maddox tells Krissy he owns Holt cookies and would like her recipe. Krissy tried to get those cookies but they were too expensive so she started making her own. Maddox tells Krissy they could be making millions with her recipe. One year later, Maddox helps out with the orphanage and dresses up as Santa while Krissy is Ms. Clause but she's pregnant. Maddox and Krissy are opening a retail show in Mistletoe. When one of the kids sits on Maddox's lap he asks for a real family for Christmas. Later that night Maddox asks Krissy about adopting the little boy. Krissy already started the paperwork. Maddox use to hate Christmas, until he got the best present he could ask for Krissy.

Maddox is a grumpy guy who is all work and no fun. He’s currently stuck driving a “clown car” during a snow storm, while lost because his admin incorrectly booked his connecting flight and a snow storm has grounded all flights. He’s yelling at her when he swerves to avoid hitting a deer. He crashes through the greenhouse for Krissy’s B&B. When Krissy goes out to investigate, she was not ready to see this gorgeous giant climb out of a clown car. She is literally struck dumb by him. She notices he’s bleeding and takes him inside to warm up and take care of his injury. He’s ready to leave asap, but due to being miles from a town, a blizzard, and Christmas just days away, there is no way to get off the mountain and back home. Suddenly he doesn’t think that’s such a bad thing, he is very attracted to her. Their first kiss is sweet. And their first time together is sweet and hot, she is a virgin. Over the next few days they get to know one another and fall in love. When the snow starts to melt and the plows can get through she’s very sad because he will be leaving. It was refreshing to read that there is no misunderstandings or other drama, Maddox asks her what’s wrong and she tells him! They both confess their feelings and he tells her he has to go home because that’s where his business is, but he will be back. Epilogue one year later with them married, living in Mistletoe, and expecting their first child.

Seriously? I'm the only one who found this to be absolutely ridiculous?! For the love of all that's holy! Come on! It's not even close to being somewhat believable. Our heroine is so hard up for a man that she doesn't mind being kissed twice (with tongue) by a man she's just met. She doesn't even care that he slaps her on the ass all because he's absolutely gorgeous. I'd hate to see what she'd do if an average, cute guy slapped her ass. I'm thinking a slap across the face with a knee to the groin all before being thrown out in a blizzard. As for the hero, in a matter of hours, he's stopped yelling at his secretary (which he does all the time) and is no longer a belligerent, arrogant douche all because he's fallen in love. Insta-love is one thing but this, this is just asinine. Overnight he's become a better man, he's living with the love of his life in a tiny town, is about to become a father, and also wants to adopt a little boy. How about we all sit in a circle and sing Kumbaya. Give. Me. A. Break. All I'm asking for is something a little more realistic. That's not too much to ask for, is it?
I give up. I haven't come across one decent holiday read this year and this one is by far the worst. If you loved and enjoyed this novella, that's great, I'm happy for you. I just need something more realistic.

Krissy Kringle runs a bed and breakfast and a catering company in Mistletoe, Montana a very small mountain town with her half sister Carol. Of course with a name like Kringle and living in Mistletoe the town celebrates Christmas year-round so her place is always in the Christmas theme. The sisters prefer to be self-sufficient as much as possible so they handle every detail at the B & B as well as growing their own food, Christmas trees and flowers. So of course they had to build a greenhouse to handle the special flowers. Krissy is happy living there but sure wishes she had a "distraction", someone or thing new in her life. Maddox Holt of Holt Industries is a workaholic and doesn't let anything/one stand in his way. He has a meeting to attend and will get there one way or another who cares if it's snowing. Driving down a snowy road at night he sees a deer in the middle of the road and turns the wheel only to go off the road and straight down into Krissy's greenhouse and destroys it. Maddox doesn't believe in love and is a loner. What happens when Maddox is stuck at the B & B? Is this the distraction Krissy was thinking about? This is a cute Christmas story that's a quick read. 4 stars
This is the first book in the Mistletoe Montana series. Each book is written by a different author. This is the first book by L. Nicole that I have read. Krissy Kringle owns a B&B. This B&B is Christmas themed, a Christmas wonderland all year round. Maddox Holt just wants to get to his meeting. First his flight is cancelled then all the rental agency has a smart car with a tear in its roof. The weather is horrible and he is pretty sure he is lost. Then he sees a deer in the road and winds up completely destroying a green house to avoid hitting the deer. His day couldn’t get any worse. Then he meets the owner of the said green house. Wow is all he can think. There is an instant connection between them. Maddox finds himself snowed in and unable to get to his meeting. But, maybe with Krissy around it isn’t the worst thing anymore. Krissy and Maddox are great characters who turn out to have more in common than they know. Sometimes what you never knew you were missing smacks you right in the face. This was a great read. It was fun and steamy. A great introduction to the town of Mistletoe Montana.
Santa's Cookies was so very adorable! I never got into the Hallmark Christmas movies, small kids and leisure time around the holidays don't really go together. But if I did, I would want them all to be just like this! Krissy runs a bed and breakfast in Mistletoe, Montana, a town that is all about Christmas. Things are going good, she is a little lonely but doesn't see that ending any time soon. That is until a car crashes and handsome businessman Maddox drops into her lap. Maddox is less than thrilled about Christmas and all the things that go with it, like snow, are interfering with business. Its a nuisance and is a waste of time. So when he crashes, its just another thing on the list of things not going his way. When he lays eyes on Krissy, suddenly he isn't too upset about being stuck. Can a workaholic recognize the gift right in front of him? A sweet romance brought about by the hand of fate, I got all the Christmas feels in one little novella. I can't wait to make my way through the entire Mistletoe, Montana series!

Krissy Kringle was having a quiet Christmas running her B&B in Mistletoe, Montana, until Maddox Holt crashed into her life. Driving a totally unsuitable car in a snowstorm he swerved to avoid a deer and ploughed into Krissy's pride and joy, her greenhouse. He's got a business deal scheduled 300 miles away tomorrow morning – he ain't gonna make it. Maddox is a control freak and, suddenly, he's at the mercy of the gods … and Krissy. Wonder of wonders, he's happy! They're made for each other but the snow will melt in a few days and he'll be back on the road. “Santa's Cookies” gets incredibly sappy at the end but it does a very good job of capturing the Christmas spirit. If it were twice as long it would probably have been a 4 Star book. 3 Stars.
How I love a growly, broody Alpha hero. The growlier (definitely a made up word) they are, the mightier they fall. Our heroine Krissy, is up to the challenge. Maddox ends up stranded at her Christmas-themed B&B and can’t help it when his growl melts away because of Krissy.
She makes it clear that she’s staying in Mistletoe, Montana forever. Can he walk away from his high-powered life to stay?
This was the first book I’ve read by L. Nichole and it won’t be the last.
I received a complimentary ARC of this book. This is my honest review and I highly recommend this sweet Christmas romance.
This was an awesome book! I loved Krissy and Maddox! These two seem like total opposites but they equal each other out. Maddox is a complete alpha and likes to be in control. Krissy seems really shy yet mellow. These two are instantly drawn to each other. I loved the chemistry between these two and inner monologue is fantastic. I devoured this book in one sitting so I would highly recommend it and Ms. Lily's other books!
I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This story really warmed my heart. Not just that, but there was something so beautiful and tender in the first time Maddox and Krissy are together. It was hot and sexy, but it was so much more. L. Nicole wrote something here that captured the moment so vividly and beautifully that I have to mention it, especially since it's in Maddox's POV (which i love!) Don't even get me started on the epilogue. Tears. Krissy and Maddox will definitely get you in the holiday spirit and it's a perfect introduction to Mistletoe Montana.
Just a note that the stories in the series are standalone. I’ve been reading them out of order.
This story is about Krissy and Maddox. Krissy is a co-owner of a B&B and is content with her life but she feels that something is missing. Maddox is a CEO and a grouch and has no time for the holidays. A Christmas miracle in the from of a deer 🦌 brought them together. The story is sweet and funny with just the right amount of heat.
You get the sister’s story on Jordan Marie’s book, Christmas Carol.
This was a fun, quick read with some humor, heat, and insta-love. Maddox is a driven, grumpy, CEO. Krissy owns and runs Kringle's B&B. At the beginning of the story, neither one of them is particularly happy, but they have resigned themselves to the life they are living. When Maddox literally crashes into Krissy's life, everything changes. This is an adorable holiday romance. (Think Hallmark with an open door in the bedroom.) I really enjoyed it and I think it is an excellent start to the collaborative series. Heat Level 4
This was a short insta love read about Maddox and Krissy.
Krissy is the owner of a B & B in a little town and Maddox is passing thru trying to get to a business meeting. He’s had a a lot of issues in getting where he needs to be because of the weather.
Krissy is happy in her little town, but has started feeling lonely, until Maddox demolishes her green house.
“I don’t think I love you, Krissy. I know I fucking love you, baby. You’re it for me”
A charming Christmas novella about a lady who does not expect much than snuggling with her new blanket for the season until she meets a strange man outside in the cold. He was not into the season as he had work to do.
But Mother Nature has other plans for these two. Will chemistry turn into forever for these two despite not looking for forever?
It took awhile to figure out title for this story, but I started laughing when I did. I enjoyed reading this story. It made me feel cold with all that snow, but I enjoyed all the descriptions. It is a wonderful start to a new series, and I can’t wait to see if the other books follow the set-up. This is the second story by this author that I’ve read, and I’ve enjoyed both. I’ll be looking into more of her work. P.S. loved the epilogue. Epic!
This was a supper cute insta love story that had me giggling. We have Krissy & Maddox, we’re talking Hallmark Christmas special here, just with a little extra sprinkle of spice. Ok it was spicy, HOT! Supper duper HOT!
And that epilogue…WTH my heart burst open and tears came crashing down. Happy tear of course but still, I was not expecting the sudden tears. Can’t wait for the others.
Ohhh this was a fun, spicy read! I enjoyed Maddox, even with his gruff side and Krissy, with her sweetness. They have a great connection with a lot of spice! This is a quick read, insta sparks and I felt the characters grow with each other. Loved it!

Santa’s Cookies is my type of holiday read. It’s like a Hallmark/Lifetime Christmas movie with some very hot and sexy scenes. It flowed nicely and if there were any typos I didn’t notice. Now I will admit there were some parts that were a bit OTT and unbelievable but I didn’t care. The whole story was cute and made me want to move to Mistletoe. I can tell you right now that this book will be going on my holiday reread shelf.
Desperately wishing for this Christmas to be one to remember instead of reminding her of how boring her life is Mistletoe, Montana, Krissy Kringle is pleasantly surprised when in the middle of the night she has to rescue a handsome workaholic from the snow, as well as himself.
This is nice, quick read with a sweet ending. It's a perfect Christmas holiday read.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
I loved this! I love that it’s not long but has so much packed into it that it’s hard not to fall for Maddox and Krissy. Maddox needed a little bit of calmness in his life and Krissy is exactly what he needed. Their chemistry is amazing and the heat they share could have melted all the snow in Mistletoe.
This was a great story to kickoff the Mistletoe Montana Series!
Krissy and Maddox are both in need of a change. Krissy loves her life in Mistletoe but sometimes longs for a change. Maddox wants out of Mistletoe and it's mayhem lol. But Fate seems to intervene and gives this couple a chance at love and happiness.
Quick holiday read that will warm your heart and give you some holiday cheer!.
I enjoyed reading this story. I call myself a visual reader because I can see the couple, the cute B and B, the deer in the road and all that snow. Oh, those cookies sounded wonderful. I liked how the instantly clicked and ended very happy. Overall it was a wonderful story, thanks. Written by Cindy :)
Maddox is on his way to a business meeting when he has to drive in a snowstorm. He almost hits a deer but to avoid the deer he crashed into a greenhouse.
Krissy rings a bed and breakfast and its her greenhouse.
What will happen when he has to be stuck there because of the storm. You will have to read to find out.
