Its been awhile since I read something from this author it was a cute and funny novella with some steam.
Cold hasn't been home since his mother death now hes bring his clubs MC into his old town. Because his father is injured and he's suspicious how it happened plus he wants to be closer and now his fathers neighbors is helping and shes well very happy and loves Christmas and he dislike it and rude towards her. Heck he insult her and called her a stripper because of her Christmas outfit. But he respected her when Joy kept ignoring his commands on helping his father. And stood up for him and that got her hurt.
As for Joy I liked her with every rude comment she would get from colr she would kill him with kindness 🤣 she was fun person and has a heart of gold.
Now they have to deal with the guy who tried to hurt his pops and opening up the new Mc chapter.

I can't with irony of h and H names. Lol But it fits so perfectly.
Cold is grumpy, like almost grinch grumpy. But it always fun to watch these types to start melt. Like they can still be grumpy, but also sweet. That mix is magic.
Joycelyn is charming, cheerful and christmas obsessed. I say obsessed, because, while each their own and that's okay, but for me too much of ho ho ho (OMG my phone almost did dirty for me. 😂 ) going on. I guess, I have a bit of grinch in me. Lol
But Cold and Joy together are perfect balance.

Cold has come back to Mistletoe after being away for years. He left after his mom died by joining the military, when he returned he joined a MC, but with his dad injured in a fall he returns to help his dad and open a new chapter of his MC. Joy lives next door to Cold’s dad, Clark, who broke his arm and leg in his fall, Joy brought him home from the hospital and comes over to cook something for him. It’s taken her years to get the grumpy old man to warm up to her. Cold first sees Joy with her ass sticking up in the air with her thong showing while she cleans up a mess on Clark’s kitchen floor. He’s rude to her and thinks she’s a stripper,but she holds her own against him. They have a rocky start but soon Joy is melting Cold’s frozen heart. Their banter is cute and funny. Little bit of drama with an employee who was stealing from Clark and who later we find out pushed Clark down the stairs. Cold gets his main chapter MC brother’s to help him teach the bad guy a lesson. Little drama when Joy says I love you, and Cold does not say it back. But he redeems himself when he tells her, and shows her with a “property of” cut and a ring. Epilogue six years later with one son and the MC going strong.

I really like the friendship that Joycelyn and Clark has in this book because you can see that Clark is
grumpy but i like the way she has made Clark come out of his shell a lot and remember the good times around christmas.. I also like that its like a daughter and father relationship even if they are only neighbor's because she can see so much of her dad in Clark and i think its sweet that she looks out for him and makes a lot of hot meals for him too..
I really enjoyed the relationship between Cold and Joycelyn.. The characters are so awesome and i really like the cozy warm small town feel.. Its nice to see that everything worked out and they got a happy ending

This book is part of the Mistletoe Montana series. Each book can be read as a standalone but some of the books are connected. Cold Killjoy is a member of Trigger Pull MC. He is a nomad. When he notified that his father has been in an accident, he decides its time to go home again. He wasn’t prepared for what he finds. Jocelyn is a helpful neighbor. She cracks the cranky man next door till he is nice to her. Then she meets Cold. He is just like his father except for the way he makes her feel. Things are about to get interesting. Did Cold’s father just fall down the steps or was he pushed? Does one of his employee’s want to business for himself? Joy, Jocelyn, is just trying to help out a neighbor who reminds her of family she never imagined how much it would change her life. I loved this book. It was short, steamy, and funny. Joy and Cold are great characters. Mistletoe Montana is great little town. This book has just the right mix of things. Is this little town ready for their own chapter of Trigger Pull MC? I look forward to reading more books in this series and more by Esther. Fantastic job Esther.

I grabbed this book because it had Joy in the title and I'm glad I did - It turned out to be a phenomenal short read. The story is well written with wonderful characters that take you on an adventure full of drama, humor, action and romance.
Cold Killjoy left home after his mother died. He joined the Army and after one tour in Afghanistan he got out and joined Trigger Pull MC and became a Nomad. Years later he returns home to take over his dads garage.
Joycelyn moved into the house next to Cold's dad and worms her way into his life because he reminds her of her dad.
Cold has a run in with Joycelyn when he arrives home and the two have a connection but do their best to fight it. Joycelyn stands her ground and doesn't let Cold scare off. Cold is impressed with how feisty Joycelyn is. Cold doesn't like Christmas and Joycelyn loves it and the story reveals why as you read. Their banter will have you laughing the entire time and Cold's dad adds even more humor.
This is a must read book.

Absolutely phenomenal! The holidays aren't always a joyous time, filled with wonderful memories and time spent with family. Cold came back to Mistletoe after being away for years when he got a call that his dad had an accident. After they lost Cold's mom on Christmas Eve, the holidays are something to endure. Now its time to put the past behind him and be there for his dad, before its too late. He expected it to be hard coming home. What he didn't expect was a pretty little woman full of the Christmas spirit in his dad's kitchen. Joy loves all things Christmas and she is driving him crazy. Can he put the past behind him and learn to love Christmas with Joy? This was funny and sweet, sexy and completely fantastic. I devoured this in one sitting, absolutely in love with Cold, his dad and Joy. Ten stars!

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Cold killjoy is a novella in the ‘’mistletoe Montana’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. When Cold Killjoy’s father is injured, he moves his grumpy butt back home. What he doesn’t expect is to fall for his father’s cheerful neighbour.
The chemistry between Cold and Jocelyn is clear to see and I liked them together. I loved Jocelyn’s sass and her moody moments.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. Can I also just say, you learn something new everyday? I never new Esther e Schmidt & Addy Archer were the same person until the end of this book!

I'm just gonna say it! I have read many Christmas stories over the holidays and I have loved them all, but Cold Killjoy has got to be one of my favorite ❤️ I absolutely loved everything about this book, from the first paragraph to the end. Simply fabulous!
Cold Killjoy is a lot of things, grumpy, at first maybe even a little mean! Then there's Joycelyn( Joy) she's witty, smart, funny and so cheerful. When grumpy meets cheerful it really is quite comical! Throw in Cold's father and his one liners were hysterical. I love how these two come together. I love Cold's protective nature, he can be such a sexy beast!! I'm hoping for more books from some of the characters, hint , hint! Excellent, fabulous, fantastic. Short,sweet and oh so sexy!!!!

Loved this Christmas time MC Story. The author has given us the start of a new MC series in the town of Mistletoe Montana. A Place that celebrates Christmas pretty much 365 days of the year. The story is also a standalone in the Mistletoe Montana series. A series in which several authors bring us a story involving the town of Mistletoe, Montana in some fashion. Trust me if you haven’t read any of these books, you should - the ones
Cold Killjoy is very well written with absolutely awesome characters. They are just so perfect for the story and the town of Mistletoe. The story line is heartfelt with moments of suspense, action, humor and romance. Even the grouchiest bah humbugs can’t help but smile, cheer up and maybe even fall in love in the town of Mistletoe.

Mr. Cold Killjoy definitely got hit with a big dose of Joy when he met Joycelyn. This was a great holiday story full of Christmas love and cheer. When Cold met Joy, he melted for her right away and same with her. Even when Cold was showing his grumpy side, Joy knew he cared deep down with every wink or side smile. There was a bit of action but the story focused more on the connection between Cold and Joy. I loved how Cold came home to Mistletoe Montana not only to help his dad but also to settle down with his MC brothers. I loved Cold's dad, he had me laughing with the stuff he was saying. I loved seeing the other characters from Trigger Pull Mc, I would definitely recommend reading that series too. Another great book by Esther and a Great Holiday read!

Cold returns to his hometown when he receives word that his father has fallen and is seriously hurt. Once he arrives, new things await him. He's to take over his father's business, and he meets his father's lively neighbor, Joycelyn.

Joycelyn and Cold's banter is extremely entertaining! Readers will enjoy this couple and their story. The story features a villian who is handled rather nicely.

I've been reading the books in this series and I have to say, this is one of my favorites. The banter between Cold and Joycelyn is really great. She's all happy go lucky and Cold is grumpy and well.....Cold. He's come home to stay and run his father's mechanic business but something isn't adding up. When he fires one man, it puts Joycelyn in danger. And he can't have that. It's time to claim this woman for his own, but will she let him? Loved the story, loved the characters and I just loved the whole set up for this book!!!

Joy is the happy spirit type of person who never lets anyone ruin her happy mood. Cold is just that.... Cold and grumpy just like his dad..
These two could not be anymore different from eachother, total opposite's in everyway. Joy was being a nice neighbor and helped out when her neighbor got injured and had no one else to help him out. Cold finding out his father broke his leg and arm comes back home to help out after being away for so long.
This was an amazing book, a great read to finish off the Mistletoe Montana Series

A new favorite author
Esther Schmidt is a new to me author and I’m so glad I found her work! I binge read all 17 books in the mistletoe series and I feel like the best was saved for last (I loved all of them of course). She’s able to add so much depth to her characters in such a short story which is amazing. I absolutely loved these two characters. Cold was awesome and knew what he wanted. And his dad was such a great side character. I’m off to read the rest of her Trigger series now!

I love this story. Angry biker still hurting from the loss of his mom returns home to work with his dad in a Christmas town. He meets Joy, who is eternally happy, and joyful, and radiates light. Their relationship/interactions are hysterical. There was absolutely nothing about this I didn't like. Just a nice story about family, love, loss, and all things Christmas. (Okay maybe that's a bit too much of a simplification because there is deeper stuff in this book.) All I can say is get this book and read it. You will not regret it!

I loved the instant attraction between these two even though the one thing she loves is what he hates. I loved how she was determined to show a bright spirit, despite being around scrooges. I loved how he was determined to protect those he cared about and wasn't going to let his woman get away. Good read!

Cold Killjoy is grumpy enough to live up to his last name. Joycelyn Loftings is determined to bring joy into the lives of those around her, even if it is her grumpy neighbor and his equally grumpy son.
Cold Killjoy is a quick sexy holiday read, with great characters that you will want more of.
I loved this installment of the Mistletoe Montana series and hope that this is the starting point of a new MC series.

OMG, I loved this book...100 Christmas Stars!!
I have read other MC stories and if this one was supposed to be serious, my way of reading is way off. I laughed my foolish head off. I enjoyed how Cold and Joy met. Just things that happened tickled funny bone. Maybe not Cold's fathers injuries, the punk doing his books and the little injuries inflicted but Joy over rode all of that. Thanks for such a fun time read. Written by Cindy :)

The Mistletoe Montana series are a group of Christmas stories written by a group of talented authors. Cold Killjoy is part of that series, also a standalone written by author Esther E. Schmidt. This is Cold and Joycelyn story! Killjoy is a nomad biker but also part of the Trigger Pull MC. Joy is his fathers very cheerful neighbor. The plot is fast pace and well written with wonderful characters. I look forward to reading more books about the new Trigger Pull MC; Mistletoe Montana Chapter!!!

Cold is the new hot’
I enjoy short, sweet romances with a strong alpha male and a sassy female, but am easily bored by the same old stuff. That was not a problem with this book. Cold and Joy’s story kept me engaged throughout and ticked all my boxes. It even comes with a laugh out loud, witty dialogue. If you like a little humor and just a touch of drama to add some spice, you will love this story. I certainly did.

Nice or Naughty
The end of Mistletoe Montana…how sweet it was.
I really enjoyed Jocelyn & Cold’s story. It’s sweet with a sprinkle of spice.
Joey is supper sweet, she’s charming with a joyful spirit about her. Then we have Cold, who is Mr. grumpy pants as I liked to call him. It was sweet to see their relationship grow and ice melt off Cold, to watch his sweet side come out.
