This was a pretty good read that I liked. Nadia has never known her father and she feels that a piece of her is missing. When she gets info that her father could be a Mafia Boss she goes to find him and goes but finds herself in the middle of a mafia execution. She runs and as they are chasing her and runs right into Vincenzo coming out of a restaurant. Knowing the man chasing her Vincenzo basically saves her. Vincenzo is the son of a mob boss and a real estate lawyer and not involved in the family business but manages the legit family businesses. Vincenzo agrees to help her but he knows that she is hiding something. This was a good read and my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is the first book in the Mafia Heat Series and definitely starts the series off with a bang. You'll love Nadia and Vincenzo. Although this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. Fate brings Nadia and Vincenzo together when she literally crashes into him on the sidewalk. He saves her from the mafia thug chasing her since she witnessed something she shouldn't have. His family gives her protection but she withheld some information which causes problems later. The chemistry between the two is explosive. This was a great book that will make you want to read the rest of the series. I read an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Ella Jade is one of my go-to authors as she never ever disappoints. This Mafia Heat series is going to be awesome since she started it out with a damn bang!
This storyline is one of a kind with a great set of strong characters. I loved everyone in this book I have to say even the "bad" guys are somehow not totally evil. At least not all of them. I am excited to see where Ella takes us with the next one.

This is the first book in this series. I love mafia books and this one is amazing! I was captivated from the beginning. Nadia is running from something she never should of witnessed. When she runs into Vincenzo. This book is well written and I look forward to reading more books in this series. I highly recommend this book!

Quick easy predictable read. Low on the angst sweet romance and characters. Plus it's 5 brothers and I'm all for a good brother series.

This is a novella, read basically in 4 hours. I liked the story though and I liked the characters. I saw the distinct personalities of all the characters clear in the writing and that is what sets the story up to be a good one!

With Nadia running away from a scene she wishes she'd never witnessed, she accidentally runs right into Vincenzo as he is leaving a restaurant. Vince notices that Nadia is breathless, sweaty and she seems to be running from somebody. When he glances over her shoulder he sees a man he recognizes and knows something bad went down to send Nadia running. But they seem to have an attraction and Vince isn't about to let anything happen to Nadia, so he takes her with him and drops her off close to her house. Nadia ends up at Vince's office the next day because someone was in her home while she went to get coffee the next morning. Vince vows to help and Nadia is a little relieved. Can these two form a relationship amidst the chaos or will Nadia's secret turn out to be their undoing? Grab this wonderful story today to find out!

What a couple...Vincenzo and Nadia, the son of a mob boss and the illegitimate daughter of a rival mob boss. When Nadia goes searching for her dad, she comes across a dangerous situation and Vincenzo is there to get her out of a jam. He extends his help and she comes collecting a day later. Vincenzo takes her into safe keeping with his family but she doesn’t reveal all and her suspicions on who her dad is....will it be too late when he finds out the truth.
A great read with steam and I loved these two, how they interacted, how little drama was between them and how they resolved all their secrets...nice surprise and a refreshing outcome with what happened. I adored Vincenzo and how protective he was, how kind and generous and the lengths he went to for her. Nadia was a bit naive but I loved how she didn’t let who his family is stand in the way of their happiness. I can’t wait for Gianni’s story !!!!

I adored Vincenzo and how protective he was, how kind and generous and the lengths he went to for her. Is it possible for one person to have such luck? First Nadia witnesses a murder when she went looking for her father (a mafia boss). Then when she ran away, she runs into a guy who she begs to help her and his family is also involved in the mafia. But while Vincenzo's father is a mafia boss, he's a legitimate real estate attorney. While there is a definite attraction between them, Nadia isn't sure she can trust him. At least not until the next morning when she finds some guys in her apartment.
The story contained a good mix of romance and suspense and kept you guessing as to how it would end. We got an introduction of all the members of the immediate Marchelli family and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Nadia wants answers, she needs to know who her father is, which leads her straight into trouble. Fearing for her life she runs into Vince. She thinks she is safe, however she has no idea that his family is mafia. These two must stay together in order for his family to keep her safe. However, she is now in danger of losing her heart to Vince.
This story was intriguing, dramatic, and suspense with every other page. I liked Vince and his family even though they are mafia, but they seem more like good guys rather than bad. I look forward to reading more from this series. A must read!

This is the first book in a new series from this talented author. Nadia is running from a scene that she mistakenly witnessed, and runs straight into Vincenzo accidentally. Will he be able to keep her safe, or will her secrets be the end of any relationship? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written story which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more in this series, and highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers.

Very good book. I started this one a day ago and had to put it down to cook and clean. Otherwise I would have not set the book down. This wasn't filled with tons of nonsense, but what family is all about. I loved Vince and Nadia together and how this book ended was just amazing.
Side note: The author stuck to the story line and never strayed from it. I was intrigued reading this one and look forward to to book two about Gianni. Maybe we'll be reading about a wedding from the couple in book one, too :)

Complicated and sweet
A complicated and compelling read. Ella has a way of drawing you in and keeping you engaged. This story is about Vince and Nadia. Nadia has no idea who her father is and after she accidentally witnesses a murder and is running for her life, she bumps into Vince who happens to be just about the only person in the whole city who can help her. Lots of moving parts but the story flowed perfectly. Awesome read.

I f I could, I would give it 3-1/2 stars.
This is a nice, light read. Nadia and Vincenzo meet, as Nadia runs away from a murder scene. His family gives her protection. I like the main characters. Nadia is a buisenesswoman with a graphics design company. It's nice to see the heroine be something other than having a dead-end job. I like how they interact with each other. Nadia did do something very stupid, by not telling Vincenzo everything.

quick and satisfying
This is a new author for me and I was in need of a mafia book so I decided on this one. It was great Vincenzo is a great guy who accidentally runs into Nadia running from something that scared the crap out of her.
The only bad thing about this story is that the conversation was a bit straight to the point and choppy it didn’t have much feeling for me but the characters were great!

Vince and Nadia's story kicks off what looks to be a very interesting series about the mafia. There is family, suspense, suspicion, mafia (shootings, kidnapping, hiding, illegal activity, etc), and love throughout the story. I didn't want to put the book down. I volunteered to read an advanced copy of this book.

When Nadia went looking for answers, she never imagined her curiosity would put her in such danger. But it also brought Vincenzo into her life. The instant feelings they couldn't ignore were smoldering, and the suspense and action was so engaging and entertaining. I liked the characters, and the trouble that surrounded their families kept the pages turning!

I didn’t know I loved Mafia stories until I read this. I could not put this book down. So much action and sexiness all in one. Every chapter left me wanting more. So excited to read about the other brothers in the Marchelli family.

This story lived up to its hype, very dominant men and equally strong women. I loved Vince and Nadia's story, lots of excitement and danger. Boy, if he's the tame one heaven help us when the rest of the boy's stories come out.

No tension
This books reads extremely dry even thought the storyline has so much potential. The characters and the book develop step by step but we don’t get any tension or emotion written. It all makes it seem sudden.

I love a good mafia romance and this one didnt disappoint! Fabulous characters...awesome storyline...and just enough drama to keep you going! I cant wait to read about the other brothers

Mafia is not something that I really read but I’m glad I did. Intense full of suspense and a great storyline to go with it. I’m a first time reader for this author and I really enjoy this one.
