My name is Elizabeth and I am best friends with three guys: Jayson, Julien, and Ryder.

Jayson and Julien, the silver-eyed twins that stole my heart when I was six years old. They call me their princess. I call them my princes.

Ryder, the amber-eyed daredevil with a kind heart and easy smile. He is my moonshine and I am his starshine.

We live on the same street and go to the same school, Fallen Brook High. I can't remember a day of my life that Jayson, Julien, and Ryder have not been by my side. We grew up together. We were a family.

It's hard for a girl to be best friends with three guys, especially three guys that grow up to become handsome men. There's only one golden rule to follow: Never fall in love with your best friend.

I just broke that rule — twice.

I fell in love with two of them.

What do I do now?

Reader's Note: The Fallen Brook High School YA series is a High School & Young Adult spin-off of the New Adult, Contemporary romance series, Fallen Brook by Jennilynn Wyer, and is written under her pen name, J.L. Wyer. The Fallen Brook High School YA series has been edited and the content rewritten to be suitable for a younger audience and is recommended for ages 16+. It does contain some minor bad language and reference to underage drinking, intimacy, and social situations. Books 1 and 2 end on a cliffhanger. The series concludes with an HEA.

If you would like a more mature story with mature, adult themes, check out the original Fallen Brook Series: All Our Next Times (Book 1), Paper Stars Rewritten (Book 2), and Broken Butterfly (Book 3). The Fallen Brook Series is for mature readers and contains possible triggers, and is therefore suitable for readers aged 18+.

I loved this book, but even though I wanted to love Jayson, I couldn't. He would have been the boy for me in real life, but not for Liz. Jayson tainted himself in the beginning by his betrayal to Ryder. Ryder is obviously the bigger man. Liz is someone I think if you weren't friends with, you would love to hate. Not because she is a bad person, but because she appears to have it all. She's gorgeous, intelligent, kind, and loyal to a fault. I think her judgment-free attitude and kindness are what attracted her three best guy friends to her. She is in a difficult situation where she loves all three but doesn't know who her true love is. Jayson bulldozed his way into a relationship with her, so everything from that point on was tainted for me. Jayson has a lot of growing up to do. As we go forward, I hope he can show his maturity and respect to Liz. This ended on a shocking cliffhanger, and I am diving into the next book right away!

Jennilynn writes a beautiful coming of age book about 4 teens that started as friends at a young age. Elizabeth befriends Jayson & Julien, twin brothers, and Ryder and they do everything together. One rule that friends follow is don't fall in love with your best friend. Well, Liz broke that rule twice.
As they grow up together the 4 of them live through heartbreak, love, trust issues and everything else teenagers go through.
The author writes a beautiful plot that is interesting and enjoyable. You want to keep reading to see what Elizabeth will do with her heart. Will they stay friends having lived through the hurt they have felt.

Jayson, Julien, Rider and Elizabeth have been best friends since they were kids. There is a special connection between the three of them. All three boys love her. When Rider finally gets the nerve to tell his friends that he wants to ask Elizabeth out, Jayson immediately runs to her to claim her. Can their friendship survive? What is going with Hailey? Is Elizabeth truly happy with Jayson? While Jayson is a likeable character, I definitely see some control issues going on. I enjoyed this book but I'm not team Jayson. And that ending??? Have Rider's book handy so you can jump right in.

Don't fall in love with your best friend... or just don't fall in love with ALL of them?
Angst, angst, and more angst! Well done Wyer for getting me hooked on some YA and the need to know who Elizabeth will end up with.

This book will have you on the edge of your seat. Well written, rollercoaster of emotions, secrets, lies, love, first times, you name it and this book has it. I love that it is told in all the friend’s views and not just one sided.

Each character of this book is different but each have one thing in common…their love for her…Elizabeth. From a young age, these four friends have been inseparable. I loved watching them learn about each other, take care and protect each other, face and overcome difficulties together and grow up. I loved seeing the romantic side of Jason. Even now, at the end of this book, I’m not really sure I feel like he is the guy for Elizabeth though.

I loved that I felt like I was in the story with them experiencing it too, although I have so many questions. On to the next book to see if they get answered

Great book if you are a teen/(in high school). Since I’m not it was just too reminiscent of high school years. Teen drinking & young/immature love. Really 3/2 boys fall totally head over heals for 1girl? I think not. Also I’m now more interested in (Elizabeth)main characters sisters’ story. Hopefully will get more about what’s going on with her.

I am so glad I found this series. I really wish it turned into a why choose though bc this is a killer love square

Clean read, maybe a few swears, underage drinking, mentions of intimate times but fade to black & a coming out

Loved it!

I couldn't put it down. I love how the story is told from multiple perspectives, and the cliffhanger was priceless.

I love the characters and the multiple perspectives. I read this book to find some comp titles for my own book but loved the story so much I finished the book in one day. My only reason for 4 stars was it wasn't as "sweet romance" as I like. It was still tasteful and character driven.

⚠️Spoiler⚠️

I enjoyed three romance and there was a lot of cute moments with Jayson which is why he is my favourite character however he annoyed me too many time especially when he found out about Julien and Elijah. I hated the ending and found it ridiculous.
