This is the fourth book of the Dragon Girls, the first in the Treasure Dragon trilogy. I read this with my 7-year-old after finishing the first three books. She likes them. I am getting bored because they're all basically the same book. I would have liked if this trilogy focused on a different threat than the shadow queen, or if the series of events had had a different format. It's a cute book for kids, but I don't know that I will keep reading more of these books with her, as it gets very repetitive after a while.
Read this book to the girl I was babysitting. Leaving this review because it was so bad. Felt like Rainbow Magic Fairies stripped to its bones and put in a Halloween costume.
My 8.5 year olds thoughts "It was okay. The thing I liked was that she is a Ruby treasure dragon. I like rubies. Mei is brave and I like when she roars to scare away the shadow sprites. I love the friendship bracelets."
My child choose this book for her third quarter book report. She read the whole thing out to me. Now after book 4, I am invested in the story. I am kind of excited about night and sea dragons coming up.
My son is excited to be hearing about a different “type” of dragon now. Seems like it’ll be trilogies to group the new friend groups so that part is fun. So far yet again it is the same enemy that they are facing which is a let down. Looking for something new to continue the story. However my son who is 6 continues to like these stories so my ratings are based on how he feels about them.
Very repetative but my eight year old loves them so they do exactly what they're supposed to do, which is give young readers an uncomplicated adventure where the main characters get to turn into DRAGONS and save the day. Who can criticize that?
The four year old started to correctly predict events based on the narrative structure of the first three books. This makes them both a fantastic book for reading newly independent readers and also a bit tedious for adults who are reading them aloud.
This series is divided to into sub series that are 3 books long. Each trilogy follows a group of three friends with each book from one of the girl's point of view.
Read to create a reading comprehension HBE worksheet for my 7yo and 9yo. Rating provided by 9yo.
This book is amazing. It's about this girl who loves to make jewelry and she makes 3 special bracelets that lead into this really cool for us with these amazing creatures Figure out more...
Another fabulous young fiction it inspire the small people in your life. I am reading along with my young reader granddaughter and sharing the adventures even though we are separated by miles.
My 6 year old daughter said 5 stars because of the exciting rescue of the book. I personally didn't think the rescue was as good as the first set because all their tires were fixed the same way.
It was okay. The thing I liked was that she is a Ruby treasure dragon. I like rubies. Mei is brave and I like when she roars to scare away the shadow sprites. I love the friendship bracelets
V, âge 6: Favorite part: the book butterflies looked magical. Best part of the story: the cha cha ants were funny. Wish there were more soldier ants in the story and a picture.
