Required reading for EVERYONE period! This is NOT your average boring book on finances. 7- Figure net worth is the book you need but you don’t even know it. It was so insightful and compelling I read it all in one sitting. You can tell the author has a calling and a passion to help others obtain wealth and break the chains of debt. It is as if your BFF came over and you cozied up on the couch with a cup of coffee and had a real conversation about your financial life. Like she is speaking directly to you and your situation as if she has known you for years. I will be reading it a second time (with the hubby), this time more slowly and intently completing the worksheets as I go along. 7- Figure net worth gives godly, real-world financial advice that takes into account the systematic racism that African Americans face, the bad habits that we have normalized and teaches you how to practically overcome them for financial success. It anticipates the reader’s objections and addresses them, leaving you feeling empowered and informed about how to take control of your finances and obtain that 7- Figure net worth. As the book states, this is not a quick fix, but a guide to put you on the right path. I will be gifting this book to my children when they are of age. It’s the foundation I wish I had. Bottom line is… IT’S A MUST READ! It will definitely be a blessing in your life.

Enjoyed the introduction where Mrs. Mabrey made you feel right there with her during the introduction and the many trials she faced at an early age. But more importantly how she triumphed and overcame.
The book provided a number of worksheets that allow you to do your work while assessing your financial health. If you are serious I encourage you not to shy away from the work. As Mrs. Mabrey indicated when she first got started it may be painful or even embarrassing- your financial situation. But you have to face it and work through it with a plan. A lesson I, too, learned a long time ago.
The book is full of great information that brought to mind many things I talk to close friends and family about today. The importance of multiple streams of income, potential angel investments, appreciating assets, etc. All focusing on building wealth and leaving a family legacy.
Although the book may have been written for a certain millennial demographic it’s a valuable read for everyone interested in creating and maintaining wealth. Just as valuable as Rich Dad, Poor Dad or Millionaire Next Door.

A radical new field manual that draws from both sound financial principles of the bible as well as fiduciary financial institutes. This book is much more than a scientific approach to wealth building. It is a brave and candid discussion on financial literacy that covers all things necessary to ensure your success as you travel along to become a high net worth individual. Brielle has offered an open-hearted conversation that makes you feel like you're sitting at the table with your favorite, loving relative as she helps prepare you to navigate the many perils and pitfalls that lay in wait for those who have not been given the lessons of financial astuteness. This is a paradigm shift that will create a fresh new mindset. It is much more than a guide to investing. This book truly is a blueprint to decrease your financial liabilities, and build a solid foundation for wealth creation & savings. The author was very transparent, and didn’t sugar-coat anything. I appreciated her relatable examples & challenging questions that not only make you reflect on your poor past habits, but assist you in creating an action plan moving forward. The book covers how eliminating debt will require short-term sacrifices for long-term gains, and the methods Brielle shares for paying off one debt at a time were extremely enlightening. I especially liked how she covered both the external (systemic racism) and internal (inherited money beliefs) factors that impede our wealth journey. It has definitely helped me become more financially savvy, and made me more confident about the steps I need to take to create generational wealth. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to start to learn how to approach money and leverage it for the tool that it is!

The author offers a level of honesty and transparency around the challenges of building wealth that is truly relatable and resonates – especially with African-Americans – but also garners trust and encourages action. Furthermore, the book presents sound roadmaps that redefine the way one approaches budgeting, financial management, and investment on an everyday basis so that they're not only able to establish both the healthy mindset and monetary habits needed to build and accumulate wealth, but also feel personally emboldened, mentally fortified, and spiritually inspired that a legacy of financial independence is achievable. I look forward to reading it again and sharing it widely.

This is THE book to help create wealth for Black America! I literally felt like I was in my living room having a tough love/heart to heart conversation with my sis about my financial future. Like girl, what’s in your portfolio?! Not only is it so relatable to the struggles that many Black Americans face, but it disrupts and brings awareness to the maladaptive thought patterns that we need to transform in order to gain true wealth. The worksheets helps us to bring “out of sight, out of mind credit card swiping” to the forefront so we can get real about our finances. #7-Figure Net Worth is a game changer because it works from the inside out. I see it as an heirloom that equips families – especially African American – for generational wealth by examining financial numbers, encouraging consistent and wise habits, personifying biblical money mindsets, and leaving a legacy that impacts one’s children, children. The author shares personal experiences and lessons learned that paints a picture of hope and inspiration regardless of one’s financial starting point. She asks challenging questions and probes in a gentle but stern way to wake up (and hopefully dismantle) unhealthy thoughts and habits that have plagued this audience for decades. Every strategy and practical worksheet will help novice and even seasoned investors take action in their journey to 7 figures. Read it, apply it, and pay it forward...you (and others) WILL be wealthier because of it!

This book is an important critical read for everyone. This book allows you to pull back the layers of your current relationship with money. I was impressed by the author allowing the reader the opportunity to answer questions to start to assess a working plan moving forward. I enjoyed being able to see myself through every financial lens of my life and seeing what areas I could grow in. The chapter that stood out to me was chapter 8 on "Your Numbers, Credit Scores". I have made an amazing leap in fixing past historical credit issues but still seeing my score lower than expected. I was able to see certain aspects of how to understand my score better while also picking up a few tips for making improvements going into the new year. I am looking forward to continuing to use this book as a guide to becoming a better financial investor and steward in the next phase of my journey.

This book was phenomenal!!! I was intrigued from the introduction and throughout the book there were a lot of "me too," moments. I believe every house should have a copy of this powerful book. I loved the worksheets at the end of the chapters which challenged me to dig deep into my financial profile. There were great examples used, which made the words on the book come to life. This book was such a blessing and really challenged me to take my finances to the next level. The book made me realize there are a lot of things I do not know about finance and where I can improve. This book will not only impact the reader but generations to come! After reading this, I am excited and pretty confident in the next steps I need to change to increase my net worth! Finally a book that speaks authentically and honestly about our community experience around finances and building generational wealth. So many of our problems are surround around poor habits, lack of knowledge, and lack of understanding of how money works. This book addresses all three in relation to money. I also appreciate the stories and the actionable items so that we aren't just left reading to understand, but we are challenged to put effort and action to improve our financial circumstances. Once we start getting a paycheck we blow through our funds without a plan for our future. This book gives us enough knowledge to not only change our own situation but also our legacy.

I really appreciate that she speaks to everyone whether you're working a 9-5 or an entrepreneur. For example the Paycheck Deduction chapter has a "Take Action" activity where you take an assessment of your deductions to actually see where your money is going and make adjustments if necessary.
I love that there are activities that you can implement immediately and not just information thrown at you. I think the "Bragging Rights", accountability/celebratory, aspect by sharing your success in the private Facebook is key to a successful having a 7-Figure Net Worth.

Amazingly relative and easy to read! The wording was so approachable and made the thought of obtaining wealth a realty. The steps given to renew a mindset and actually obtain true financial freedom is remarkable. #7-Figure Net Worth kept me engaged throughout. I’m one to consider discussions about finances as boring however, this book was the complete opposite. The topics were relevant and discussed in a relatable manner; it’s clear that Ms Mabrey took a thoughtful approach when drafting. This is reference material that I will continue going back to; a must read.

This book is a go to for financial information, strategy and plan. You get a true understanding of you are never to bad to get on track. It may be painful and embarrassing but you have to face it and you can fix it. This book should be read as early as possible in someone's late teens to early adult years to help avoid the pitfalls of bad financial decisions.
