Jesus warned that the Great Tribulation would be a time of unmatched tumult and human suffering. As Emilio and Mackenzie are finding out, the Messiah’s words were no hyperbole. They’ve survived the Seven Seal Judgements and the First Trumpet. But the coming wave of destruction foretold by the prophecies will bring about chaos they never could have imagined.
Upon arriving back at the resistance compound in Kentucky, Emilio and Mackenzie discover a deep schism among the members. Multiple people are attempting to fill the power vacuum left by Hinkle’s death. If the group can’t work out their differences, they’ll never be able to stand against the Global Order.
The Third Trumpet sounds and a comet strikes the earth which releases heavy toxins into the environment. Chemicals from the asteroid leach into the ground and poison the water supply. The group rushes to find a solution, but some of the members give up and head for the nearest OASIS city in Atlanta. Emperor Lucius Alexander promises distilled water and sustenance in exchange for the souls of those who will bow only to him.
As if Emilio and Mackenzie didn’t have enough trouble already, they’re spotted by Global Order peacekeepers while on a mission to salvage materials for a lager water distillation system. If they manage to survive the firefight, more tribulation and turmoil await. They’ll need to be strong in body, mind, and spirit if they have any hope at all of surviving the coming catastrophe.
As with all works by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this book might not be for you.

Read this amazing book right now
I waited patiently for this next installment in the Kingdom!.of darkness series. It was certainly worth the wait. Picking up with Emilo and McKenzie and the after effects of the tribulation . Mark Goodwin weaves a little bit of his work from some of his other books. With headlines being what they are ,Mark tells a story that could be imagined as happening right now, this is a.must bread for a small group of family . I have almost bread every book by Mark.Goodwin and this is one of if not my favorite so far. Read this book you will not regret it

Another great book! Fast paced, intriguing, thought-provoking and realistic. Fire and Brimstone and Locusts, oh my! The tribulation is full of, well, tribulations. I learned about some great survivalist ideas too... I stayed up too late, finishing the story, and now want to read more... When will book 3 be out? Soon, I hope!

Beautifully written
The story is outstanding but even the phrasing is lovely! This interpretation of the tribulation follows the scriptures very well and portrays a vivid picture of what could be. Mr. Goodwin is such a fine author and brings to life anything he writes about! Don’t miss this series or you’ll be missing out!

Couldn't put it down...
This book held my attention as do all of Mark Goodwin's books. Based on scripture and relevant to what is happening in our world today. Characters are well developed and I am ready for the next book even though I have a good idea how it will end since I read the playbook too! Highly recommend!

Another great read
This author is new to me , but I've really enjoyed this series. Can't wait for the next one. There is just the right amount of action to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Another outstanding book by Mark Goodwin!
I have come to look forward to ANY book by Mark Goodwin, and Brimstone has not let me down. Many writers tie prophecy into current events/near future; Mark does it in a way that makes people wonder why they hadn’t seen it before. His research of locales and technology is superb, and Brimstone again is no exception. My only problem with Brimstone is the same with Mark’s other books...when can I get the next installment?!?!
I also enjoy Mark’s novels on audiobook, especially when box sets of a series is released.
If you’re trying to decide whether or not to read Brimstone, please give it a try. The worst that can happen is that it can change your life for the better.

Aligning Their Actions With Scripture
Kevin Pierce's narration is simply perfect for this series of books by Mark Goodwin. Emilio Vega and McKenzie are back, fighting old enemies and supporting old friends after returning to the cave, then the igloo. By now they've gotten much better at aligning their plans and actions with what Scripture says is coming. Can't wait for the next one!

But, you will survive if you are already saved! Confused? Mark Goodwin's "Brimstone" will guide you, as have all of his End-Times Thrillers! If my heart raced once, it must have done so at least a dozen times. No one knows what the end times will bring, but Mark Goodwin's "Kingdom of Darkness" series imagines the devastation of the Bible's Book of Revelation...for those without Jesus. I can hardly wait 5 more days for the End of Time!!

Wow. The end is coming (for Emilio and MacKenzie)! How exciting given their circumstances since dwelling in tribulation times...
What a way to view if you don't get taken up in the air!!
It is far better to believe, live and wait in faith prior to the really bad end times, than to have to try and survive in an extremely turbulent world possessed by evil.

Walking through the Fire
Another Five Star novel by Mark gets the heart pumping and mind racing in this story of survival of the species of mankinds final days. God's word says that I will see you through your trials. Kept me on my toes
Excellent audio book!! Every paragraph was exciting and flowed smoothly. I also purchased book 1. I highly recommend both books. I will pre order book 3 and.will follow the author as he introduces other books relating to the end of times. Keep them coming. A+

Continual excitement!
I don't plan to be here after the rapture but none of us know how bad times will be. For those in the Tribulation I think this book may give you a glimpse. I like the way scripture is woven through the story. I like the characters. They are just human with all the frailties. This book keeps you on your toes. I can't wait to read the next book.

Riveting!
This is actually the second time I’ve read Book 2 & it was just as good as the first time! By the time Book 3 came out, I wanted to refresh my memory before reading that one, so I reread Books 1 & 2. I have read all of Mark Godwin’s books so far & every single one has been thrilling! I’m learning a lot! :)

way better than the first book of continuing series. Emilio a better leader and believer of God. For him to control himself and fight the urges to be with Mackenzie, who sounds like a looker is great. Great role model for others to follow. Everything that i didn't like in the previous book were fixed in this book. Now time to read the conclusion of this fantastic book series.

Timely thoughtful tense
I was taken away by the first chapter. A page turner with ever
mounting suspense. I really enjoy the survival hints and tips that the author weaves into his narrative. Definitely for those interested in end time scenarios. I impatiently await book 3.

I’ve read many books on this theme, most are written well, milks books stand out with the lack of profanity, which is refreshing. Another plus is Bible verse to begin each chapter..I’m jut getting started reading his books now...I’m so glad there are many more to go.

I must say that I was pleasantly pleased with the entire book. From narration to content, the book delivered on every aspect of Christian fiction, uniting biblical themes with modern day living. The characters and events are interestingly believable.

Mark Goodwin can spin a mesmerizing story.
Attempting to disrupt and also trying to salvage supplies in between apocalyptic happenings can make life challenging. Knowing what will happen next can prepare them to succeed. God will win.

Love this series!!!
I really like how it follows the Bible. It's such a well written story of what life could be like during the Tribulation. Very hard to put down too. Love the characters.

The Saga Continues
Mark Goodwin writes a great Bible story involving his fictional characters bringing Revelation alive. I am enjoying reading these books and now...on to the third book in the Kingdom of Darkness series.

Must Read
Please read book one first. This is the top-of-the-line wonderful well written book about the end times. It can be enjoyed by both believers and non-believers alike. However, as a believer, it continued to strengthen my faith as I read every word in both books.
