Sand in My Suitcase is the 3rd installment in L.P. Suzanne Atkinson’s Stella Kirk murder mystery series and in my opinion the best so far. Set in the spring and summer of 1981 we get to see Shale Cliffs RV Park reopen for the camping season, we meet Nick’s parents, we look for secret entrances, we try to break a secret code and make plans for a writer’s retreat, all the while we are trying to solve a murder. All these elements combined made for a very pleasurable read. I am very much looking forward to reading the next installment in the Stella Kirk mystery series set to come out in spring/summer 2022.

Another stellar book in the Stella Kirk series!
Once again, the author presents a well-written page-turner of a mystery. Our favourite characters and their relationships progress nicely, and I look forward to the next book!

This series is growing on me. What with the trailer park season coinciding with the season, it seemed appropriate to investigate a murder with Stella Kirk and her policeman sidekick.

This time Stella discovers the body of her good friend and has a huge incentive to determine who shot her. She also meets her fella's parents for the first time and discovers many secrets in her friend's past.

Fun!
