I really really LOVE the silver care quotes at the beginning of each chapter!!!! Have you ever heard of ice cream forks? I learned something new!! Worth reading the book for just that!!!!

Okay, I know you want to read it for the mystery. Attempt to solve it before the reveal? Warning watch out for rabbit trails then. I almost got caught in one.

Big dinner, grim reaper, and a death. Who dies, why, and who did it? Especially when everyone appears to be alibi by others. Read to find the answers. Also take time to enjoy the silver care at beginning of each chapter .

Fun, easy to read cozy mystery. Easily a standalone. Enjoy!!!

This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.

I read an ARC of Deathly Silver and enjoyed the continuation of the story. This picks up after the events of the last book. Abby and Lorraine are invited to a dinner party at the house of friend, and decide to go to get back into their normal social life. Unfortunately, as the hostess Kitty tells them about her fear of Halloween, they all see a figure outside on the lawn that scares them, and the men go out looking for the figure. While they are gone, a murder occurs, and Abby and Lorraine help the law figure out who did it. An entertaining novella of the Eastern Shore.

I really enjoy this series. Going back to just after the first book was a bit strange, but I enjoyed meeting the characters again. Lorraine & Abby were at a dinner party enjoying the evening. When the main course was about to be served, someone appeared outside dressed as The Grim Reaper. The hostess fainted. Some stayed to help her, others rushed outside. Later the person was found dead stabbed by the carving knife. There were nine people at the table & it had to be one of them. It soon gets whittled down to just a few.

Loved the characters and the story was fast-paced with plenty of twists to keep me guessing. A welcome addition to the series, though it can be read as a stand-alone. I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion

Abby and Lorraine are invited to a dinner party, while the main course is being served someone dressed as the grim reaper shows up outside. A dead body is discovered and the women will help the chief solve the murder. I enjoyed the chapter headings with information about silver. This was a very well written cozy mystery that gave multiple motives to keep you guessing until the end.

A cozy read, deathly Silver brings AC to mind. Maybe a bit too much. I have enjoyed the mystery and some interesting twists. I had the perpetrator early on, but not many of the motives. Would make a 5 star with less AC method.

shinning little gem

This is a short read. But it’s so good. It’s tightly written. The characters are sharp and the storyline is really interesting.
