Rate this book
We are all animals, conscious Animals. What sets the human race apart from other animals is that we are capable of choice. Yet still we choose Evil.

We are animals, is the first of two short stories. Take a journey through the thought process of a woman pushed past her breaking point. The world has turned into a disgusting political pit of scum. Disgusted by modern society she takes matters into her own hands, but at what cost?

Betrayal is a Strong Word takes you into the jail where serial killer Eddie Turner is under suicide watch. The two officers are hoping for a peaceful night, but that is not his plan. Eddie plays with the officers like toys. Can their friendship last through the shift?

Sometimes having bite-sized stories is just what I need for a brain palate cleanse! This was absolutely perfect for that! I think we have all been in the mindset of the Optimologist at something in our lives, but it's a great little lesson about letting the intrusive thoughts to win. The corrections officer really is a reminder that those closest to you can hurt you the most. These were very well done, the only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that there wasn't really a twist in either of them that I didn't see coming.

I got to page 6 before the amount of typos got too distracting. There are so many. I have liked everything I’ve read by Guidroz so far, but this was bad. It was like a rough rough draft.
