Lisa Morrow is a life-long reader who treasures fantasy in all forms. Being a middle child in a large family gave her a unique perspective on the world, but few experiences compare to her time spent studying abroad in Cambridge, England and wandering throughout Europe.

After her travels, Lisa settled down in Arizona to teach junior high English, and later, to spend time with her young children, husband, and cats. To some people, her life may seem quiet. But to her, every day is spent in a world colored by the imagination of children, and fantastical worlds created by her very own mind.

The first book in this serial was amazing. It was captivating, it was intriguing and it was most of all addictive. Since the ending took an entirely different turn I was quite curious what the second book would bring. If it had been up to me we would have stayed with the Protectors to see what was going to happen there, but well, main characters don't always do what I want, of course. (Not even the ones in the stories I attempt to write myself)

Luckily it didn't take our main character long to return to the Protectors and to continue where her interaction with them had ended. I have to admit that for a little while I wondered what the point was of the detour and the short interaction with the people living in the village quite near to the castle, but when the story continued it became clear that there was a point to the detour and that everything that had happened there was gonna be important.

The moment the story returned to the Protectors the rollercoaster started again and it didn't stop anymore until the very end. The pages flew by and I was more and more engrossed in the story. I really loved all the reveals, all the action, all the questions that were answered and the new questions that arose. Our main character is quite biased when it comes to the Protectors, but this book shed some new light on the history of this country and the people involved.

What I like is that our heroine is willing to listen to these stories. Yes, it's hard to overcome her prejudice, especially since it's really stuck in her mind and have been there ever since she was a child. But when she gets new information and when she learns new things she is willing to adjust her view on the world. On top of that I really like her stubborn personality, the way she's willing to fight for what she believes in and how she's not leaving people behind. It makes her easy to like and easy to root for.

I'm quite excited about the next book in this serial!

This second instalment was everything but what I thought it would be. This story took a major twist that changed everything. I questioned everything like Rose as she forced to make some decisions that only just leave more questions about the world.
The Protectors offered some puzzling choices and revealed even more about them that gave greater understanding about their role.
Yet they were still the people who were destroyers. Their role is challenging and I wonder how they will end up given Rose’s way
Given that cliff and the way this book turned out. The protectors of Tarek are only just getting started and Rose is still lost with a lot to learn

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

What a fantastic addition to this riveting series! I got hooked on Rose during book one so I was ready to dive back for book two. We pick back up where book one left off, but then there are surprise twists from there that will keep your attention until you hit the very end. I cannot wait for book three! A fantastic read for fans of the genre. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Witch Fire picks right up where Witch Chosen left off. Which I needed to know what happened so was perfect for me. Rose was hiding with the man who found her, I do not want to give much away but that it sure does get so interesting after that. Things are not what they seem. There is a lot going on that you do not find out about until later in the book.

Rose learns that things were not what she was told, and things are finally opened up for her. I cannot wait to see how she grows in the next installment.

Lisa Morrow continues to weave an incredible story with the second book in the Order of the Cursed series.

The first book really does grab you in and leaves you on a cliff. The second book does pack a punch but you do leave with more question then answers! Rose is forced to return to the protectors and she is stubborn in her compliance. Asher has magically disappeared and her best friend has been transferred. There is a war brewing and she has been thrown in the deep end with no solution-or explanation- in sight.

The world-building as well as the character-building proves exceptional. The author has clearly invested time and hard work into this series and we as the reader get to reap the rewards! A very good book and continuation- any fan of magic, witches, and other realms will love this book.

After escaping the witches, Rose is hiding with Asher, but her refuge does not last long. Forced to go through the choosing ceremony, Rose becomes marked - and as such, numerous dark secrets are revealed right in front of her eyes. The world is definitely not as it seems, and also not so black and white as she'd like - could it be, the witches are the lesser evil in the end?
Short and fast-pacing story full of magic, blooming romance that seems to be crushed shortly after beginning, and a long lasting war that has cost more than the heroine ever imagined. Yet Rose's heart remains true, and when she sees the need, she does not hesitate to put herself in danger to protect those who need it. She is maturing very fast under the circumstances, and there are definitely more challenges to come - I'd love to see how they will shape her.

“Witch Fire” is the second installment in the YA fantasy “Order of the Cursed” series by Lisa Morrow, which mixes epic fantasy, adventure and romance into interesting story, that despite its shortness offers a well-crafted world, relatable characters, magical situations, secrets, twists. Rose (MC) is a nice relatable character, who jumped at the chance of changing her life for the best by attending The Choosing (Witch Chosen) and now is dealing with the consequences.

“Witch Fires” takes over exactly where ”Witch Chosen” left, running from the witches’ ceremony and confiding in Asher to hide her, even with his limited knowledge of the situation. But the Order is relentless and eventually Rose will have to face them and fight for everything she holds dear.

Great continuation though a bit slow in the beginning but once it got going it was great! I’m so happy this series has more books and I can’t wait to find out what’s in store next and what will happen to these characters. This story picks up right where the previous one left off. This one had a pretty impressive twist that changed everything. I never saw the twist coming and want to know even more about how it’ll change things. Rose is being forced into making a choice that isn’t really much of a choice at all. She’s got a lot to deal with and many things she needs to figure out but she’s still fighting. Things are starting to get very interesting and we get to know even more about this world and what’s really going on. Can’t wait to see what Rose will do next!

Rose is taken to a safe haven with Asher. She is not really welcomed there. Rose and Asher grow closer. She knows she will be going back for her friend. Rose is made to realize what happened to Asher and other things. Rose can not hide from the protectors, has no choice but to go back.
Rose is learns more about the the Protectors and more history. Rose knows that she will no longer be the person she was. Rose wants to save her friends and others.

This was a very quick moving book. Rose eyes are opened to so much that is happening in the world. Rose will have to make decisions about what she needs to do. You will enjoy this book.

I love that this book picks up right where the first one ends. Rose is hiding with the man who found her at the end of the previous book. They are in a underground cellar type of place. Soon Blair finds them and it is a fight. He does not want to let Rose go. Rose and he have a special connection which we learn more about later in the book. It turns out he has magic too, but did not know it. Rose goes with Blair back to the ice castle.

The war is going on. It is not the war Rose was raised to believe it was. Rose learns that her mom is still alive. She learns so much in this book. I can't wait to see what new things Rose will uncover in the next book.

A nice trip into a fantasy world

Rose, an outcast in her own village, escaped from the glass castle and the protectors with the help of Asher, a young man from a village in the valley by the castle. As the story progresses a power struggle ensues, an odd connection is formed, and once again she is forced into a choice that is not a choice. Lisa Morrow’s Witch Fire is a nice trip into a fantasy world with a dash of battle and a sprinkle of romance. The reader has to wonder if Rose will be able to save her friends as well as her world.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Picking up where Book 1 left off, Rose seeks protection from Asher and the village she literally fell upon. She has a interesting connection with Asher that she can't explain. Her hiding doesn't last long when Blair finds her and with no choice she must return to the Protectors. Asher still trying to protect her gives away what he truly is and it's a shocker.

Now that Rose is part of the Order she learns things that were kept secret and now she must bargain for her friend and man she shares a connection with.

I can't wait to see what happens next!

This is book 2 in the series and you need to have read book 1 first.
Rose has escaped the Glass Castle and is determined not to go back, and Asher is determined to help her.
Rose is curious and inquisitive about the Protectors and wants more answers but nobody seems to what to share. She is not happy just accepting the little information Blair is willing to share, there appears to be so much more she doesn't know.
The story kept me reading as more was revealed about the Protectors role and why there are no more wizards.
It doesn't end on a cliffhanger but the story continues in book 3.

Book 2 draws us deeper into the Protectors, but brings us few answers. As we follow Rose, we catch glimpses of what she may be, and what she may become. If she only has time before the world falls, at least.

Lisa Morrow has crafted an intriguing and frustrating story. There are mysterious doings here, and I am drawn too deeply and compelled to wait for any hope of answers and resolution.

Can't wait for Witch Secrets!!

Short installment in the series. Pretty good storyline but it’s got a lot of loose ends floating around. It’s hard to get super interested in any one plot line. I like the introduction of the warlocks to the story and potential for saving a friend and brokering peace but that’s such a tiny part of the story it seems. I’ll probably read one or two more installments to see where this goes but it needs to come together soon or it’ll lose my interest.

Great series.
Rose is being protected by Asher, Hidden from the protectors themselves, until she realises that the protection will cost lives and turn the snow red. So off she goes back to the protectors, back to the witches who have more secrets than answers. But are the Protectors the evil that they seem or are they the lesser Evil in the wide world.
This is a great book, and I cannot wait to find out what happens next.

Book 2 continues Rose's captivating journey and discovery. This story has everything I want in a book and so much more. A story that is so very well weaved with amazing and very intriguing characters. A story I found myself totally immersed in and loving all the twists and turns it takes. A story I am so very much wanting to have my hands on the rest of the series to find out what happens next. Definitely an awesome read.

Fast pace book that will grab your attention as the journey continues. It starts a bit slow as Rose and Asher get closer and learn about each other but Rose knows she has to return to the Protectors in order to save her friend. As soon as this happens the story kicks into high gear and we are off on a magical rollercoaster ride learning more about what is to come! Fabulous second book in the series! Cannot wait to find out what is coming next! 💜🖤

Although I don't often read YA because I usually don't like it, this is a really great story! A captivating read!

I love the plot development and really don't have a clue where it's going!

I like the FMC and feel bad that she made one bad decision that has seemingly put her in a very precarious situation! There is so much room for both her and the plot to develop.

The world-building is really unique and very awesome, I want to see all it has to offer!

Rose has been thrown into a new world of Goddesses and witches and warlocks. She doesn't want to be part of this unknown world but has been given little to no choice! She meets Asher a man who saves her life when she attempts to escape yet the protectors of Tarak find her again. So many questions! Can she save her friends and stay alive? Time will tell!

This was a great second book. The story is so unique I am enjoying it greatly. I still don’t know what to make of the protectors but I can tell that Rose will do everything in her power to make sure she does the right thing. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next in the story and of course find out more about Asher.

Not all things are what they seem. We are learning there’s more to the Protectors than we were told. Rose is learning this but it is being revealed little by little. Rose and Asher have a connection and I hope to see more of it in the next book. The story is intriguing and I can’t wait until the next one.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.

I love this story, the first book finished on quite a cliffhanger so I was excited to get straight into book 2. And let me tell you... this book packs quite a punch! Rose is such a great character and I found myself questioning everything right along side her. The world building is truly wonderful and I think that anyone with a love of witches and magic would enjoy this series.

I loved the first instalment and this second one is every bit as good! We pick up from where book one left off and this is fast paced, action packed and we find a few thing out although more questions have arisen, there’s also a little romance and a whole lotta magic and it’s just very addictive! I am so waiting for the next instalment!
