There’s a war on…
...and we’re on the losing side.

But that’s not the only problem I’ve got. Someone or something is killing off the humans in Anchorage... and the fallout is landing right on our shoulders.

Or at least on those of us left.

Seth has vanished. I refuse to believe he’s gone for good. I won’t. If I have to go through heaven and hell to find him, that’s just what I’ll do. I owe him that.

And I’m on it as hot and heavy as the growing attraction between me and the monsters I’ve fallen for. Which is more than complicated. And could use some of my time...

But I’ve got none.

Another monster, one hidden in the shadows, is making it his business to get in my way. Which means the boys and I have our hands full just surviving another day. And things are only getting worse.

There’s something coming for me, and it won’t stop until I’m dead.

Moon Kissed is the second book in the Chosen Vampire Slayer series.

This is your kind of book if you love kick-ass heroines with sass to match, scorching hot monsters who take what they want, and is perfect for devourers of enemies to lovers books. Expect steam, action, and a supernatural world filled with vampires, demons, shifters, angels... and unhinged alphas who will do anything to protect their woman. Lovers of Anita Blake and True Blood, this is your next addiction.

Crazy tangled mess of a story with a Slayer that does not always act as a Slayer and in the end is also called upon that..
After the crash with the opposing vampire clan, Seth has disappeared and things between Veronica and Orion became more complicated... and heated. Yet the biggest problem now is a new threat around, killing people and causing unrest. The tide turns once the monster attacks during a clan meeting and almost the whole vampire clan under Orion is eradicated..
A story with lots of ups and downs, peppered with steamy scenes, emotional arguments, challenges, conflicts, and one peculiar woman caught in the midst of this turmoil. I am kind of amused by Veronica, realizing all the mistakes she makes or is about to make and then makes them anyway. Of course it will end up with a lot of trouble :)) but it's then an interesting story, and that open ending screams for continuation right away.

Moon Kissed follows on from book 1 with the aftermath of the tried & failed hostile takeover by the Seattle Clan. Demon Seth is missing and Veronica (FMC) finds her life gets more complicated by a spate of unexplained murders, a possessive vampire clanmaster - Orion, Fallen Angel - Logan as well as an unwelcome fellow slayer - Trent popping up. Plenty of fast paced action and lots of steamy scenarios. Im loving reading the problematic love triangle/square with Veronica and the guys. It definitely keeps you on your toes. Its a great read and with that ending i cant wait to read what happens next

This book picks up hard on the heels of the previous one, and like that first book, it carries us away. Veronica and her three heroes may have dealt with the initial threat, but now there’s a new menace in Anchorage, the likes of which none of them have ever faced before. We’re taken on a wild roller-coaster ride as they search for a solution and try to come to terms with what they are to each other. I’m not sure I can say that any of the questions I had at the end of the first book were answered. I almost feel like this story raised the stakes and gave me even more questions to ask. One thing’s for certain, I’m now even more desperate than before to find out what it is that draws these four together.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author through Black Cat.

Flipping back and forth for more pages

I flipped back and forth in that ending a few times before it finally sunk in that there wasn’t more! I need to know what happens! What a fantastic book! I will say that I think it is easier to get into at the beginning if you binge read it right have book 1. We get a new creature and some major intrigue, delicious scenes and some eye roll moments. Love them all!

When is a Slayer not a Slayer? When she sees the bigger picture or at least A grouchy Possesive Vampire, A moody fallen Angel and a sinfully sexy Demon.
Absolutley love this storey which is very Buffy ish or at least woudl be if Buffy had slept with Spike and Angel
Just love the interactions although the storey itself is quite simplistic the content and relationship dynamics are good.
Fast paced, with an ending you dont see coming
Really enjoying this series

I thought book one was awesome and book two is just a great! Carrying on from the first book the storyline gives a bit more insight into our kick ass female mc and our three sexy hot ‘men’. It’s fast paced and intense, there’s action and danger, excitement, passion and lust. There’s a monster in the woods, hiding in the shadows and bodies are dropping, will Veronica and her men solve the mystery and survive? This is a fantastic supernatural world filled with monsters, vampires, demons, shifters and angels with an addictive storyline that I just can’t stop reading!

Amazing

I loved this book. Veronica and her men are hot and steamy. They were wrong in thinking the vampire clan trying to take over was the worst of their problems. They finally come face to face with the one responsible for all the murders and it is not someone they are equipped to deal with.

Disappointed

I'm usually very vague with my reviews so I don't give spoilers but I'm going to make an exception this time. I loved the first book but this one was horrible. For more than half the book all the mc did was study in her room, whine about finding Seth but never actually tried, and had sex. Her personality from the first book is gone and now is submissive and I want to say naive to be nice but it's more like she's stuck on stupid. The mc is a SLAYER but there is only one fight scene close to the ending where she got her butt handed to her. Where is the bad a** chick with a smart mouth? Furthermore where was the story. It was a bunch of internal monologues. I have read all of this authors books and have never been disappointed once. This reads like it's from a complete different author. I can't stand leaving a series unfinished but I believe I'm going to bail on this one.

Moon Kissed picks up without missing a beat from book one, and the action is fast and furious from the very beginning until the end. We learn a little bit more about our favorite slayer, but we still have questions about her and what she is and why all 3 of them are drawn to her.
I can't wait to learn more about this group because the way it ended... that was just mean...
Well done Mila and Jordan on another amazing story that just pulls you in and does not let you go

Moon Kissed is book two in Mila Young and Jordan Crow’s Chosen Vampire Slayer series. This book picks up where book left off: Seth is missing, and the authors pick things up with him. He’s not exactly in a great place, but he’s managed to do something Logan has been unable to do recently…cross “realms.” Now….he’s stuck, and there are more than a few nasties over there with him. Meanwhile, Veronica is learning about a series of brutal murders of multiple people. What is doing the killings? Add in that Veronica is up to her eye balls…and more with Orion and the monsters she’s supposed to be slaying and things are getting more than a little sticky all around.
Moon Kissed overall is a good addition to the series. I like that Veronica is more focused on the investigation in this book and that we actually get some of the crime scenes as well. Veronica is supposed to be focusing on the investigations AND her school work, it seems we forget she still is finishing up college, but…she’s a bit easily distracted by her…baser desires. My interest gets piqued when her friend Lian mentions bringing in help from one of two guys – Trent or James. Veronica seems hesitant if not eager to avoid crossing paths with these two guys, but…fate has a way of bringing us down the path we wish to avoid most. Veronica’s secrets are about to come to the surface.
Now, when I first started this series I was pleased with the fact that Logan and Seth weren’t so obsessed with Veronica. Apparently…now they are. LOL! It’s fine to an extent, but you can see that it’s really testing their loyalties to Orion. I really got annoyed with Seth especially. I don’t like it that he’s constantly walking around with this attitude/boulder on his shoulder. He likes to fight and cause trouble. Okay, fine. But he really runs around like he’s driven by his baser instincts to start fights and get into trouble. I’m hoping he tones down the attitude and starts using his brain…for once.
I’m choosing to rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. There are elements of this book I really enjoyed, and the reveal of a unique new monster is definitely one of them. However, Seth’s attitude and Logan making a REALLY questionable decision regardless of his “intentions” makes me question them both. This book ends on a really major twist and I can’t wait to read what happens in the next book.

Book 2 starts where book 1 left off. Seth is gone, he’s missing, and no one is exactly sure where he ended up. Orion isn’t too keen on trying to find him, he is only obsessed with Veronica and the need to control her. Logan wants to find Seth and with Orion being no help, he knows Veronica will and sets out to enlist her help. But the clan from the south isn’t their only problem, something is leaving a high body count and they must figure out what.

After a run in with the mysterious creature and nearly getting killed, Orion must do something he hasn’t wanted to do in a very long time and must get help to do it. Logan has done something he shouldn’t have done, and I have a strange suspicion that he is going to regret it wholeheartedly.

I am still questioning what is different about Veronica. She is supposed to be a mere mortal, but I know there is something more to her. It started off in book one and now all three guys are drawn to her as well as the strange creature. I really can’t wait to find out what it is about her and I can’t wait to see what Logan does once he finds out the deal he struck has just been broken!

Veronica is a fearsome monster slayer, but she finds herself falling for three hot men that she should kill rather than share her bed with. Something is ripping people in the Alaskan woods to shreds, and Veronica is determined to find out. Yet she's not only distracted by studying for her final exams and the gorgeous vampire Orion sharing her bed, but by the fact that the demon Seth is missing and no one knows where he is. Time is running out for the slayer, and she doesn't know if the mysterious monster will be the one to kill her or her own lovers.

This is a fantastic second book in the Chosen Vampire Slayer series. There is a lot of great detail in the setting and fabulous characterization. Veronica runs hot and cold with her men, and her lies are catching up to her. While I thoroughly enjoy Orion and Seth, and the conflict between them, it's the fallen angel, Logan, who still intrigues me the most. What does he know about what's going on? And what does he know about Veronica? I can't wait to read more!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "MOON KISSED" This story picks up where last book left off full of mystery, intrigue, angst, suspense, danger, action, deceit, passion twist that keep coming.
Veronica the monster slayer is involved with hot men she shouldn't be attracted to Logan the fallen angel, Orion the Vampire, Seth the Demon their all drawn to one another but don't know why.
Some unknown creature is ripping people apart in the Alaskan woods & Veronica is set out to find out what it is tone is running out for her will the mystery monster be the one to end her or her lovers.
Seth has gone missing no one knows where things between Veronica & Orion become complicated the monsters attacks during a Clan meeting Orion loses most of his people.
I definitely recommend to get this book things beat up so much happens you can put the boom down until finished then there's the cliffhanger I'm so looking forward to the book "BLOOD KISSED" to get the unanswered questions.

Ahhhhh cliffhanger, why?!

Such an intense cliff hanger and I thought it couldn’t get worse (better?) after the drop off the edge at the end of book 1!

I loooooove this series. Every. Single. Thing. It all hits me at different points! The plot is insane with engaging action as well as secrets and romance (woohoo steaminess).

The characters are really diverse and well-written and I want to see where they end up because my goodness things look like they could go anywhere, which I love! Logan is obviously my favourite but he’s such a secret keeper, I need to know more about the things!

I’m just over here, in my dark corner, waiting for the next book because I have a book hangover and once again jumped off a cliff that left me rocking in a corner for a little bit (lol).

Kudos to the authors for constructing something this amazing.

Ugh. I finished it - barely. It was all just ugh.

The concept was pretty decent and it had potential, but the writing took it nowhere. Nothing happened. At all.

The characters felt simplistic and annoying, with each person being defined by the one characteristic they had.

Plot wise, I could not tell you what happened. Some people died, some vampires died, a monster was introduced. End of story.

And I haven't even mentioned the questionable relationships that came through with this book. I sometimes like dark romance, I sometimes don't, but I hated the idiocy of the MC around her love interests and the blatant objectification of her by everyone. Everyone, literally everyone including the random monster, wanted to own her because she is somehow (in an undefined way) 'special' .

How disappointing. Needless to say, I did not enjoy this book.

I really enjoyed the first book but this one, not so much. I feel like Veronica went from a kick-ass slayer to a dopey obsessed girl. The way she lets Orion treat her is ridiculous. It made me so mad that she wasn't listening when he talked about turning her and that she still doesn't know his plan. I am starting to dislike Orion more and more. I hate the way he talks about owning Veronica and that she'll be obedient. I also can't believe he is just going to turn everyone whether they like it or not. If Veronica is ok with that, I'll probably stop reading the next book. I like Seth even though he lets his temper get the better of him sometimes, at least he doesn't try to control Veronica. Logan was stupid for bringing the Wendigo back from the brink of death. Also, are we ever going to find out what makes Veronica so "special"???

Book 2 starts right where book 1 left off. Seth is gone, and Veronica doesn't know where exactly. She enlists Logan's help to find him as Orion is not helping. But things are never easy for vampire slayer Veronica. Now that the Seattle clan left to regroup, a new monster has made an appearance and now even vampires are a match for him. Veronica needs to figure out what it is and how to stop it before more lives are taken. The book ends with a cliffhanger.

The book has multiple POV and I like how it's set up. All characters know who they are as individuals, and especially Logan, Seth and Orion don't try to pass for humans or pretend to understand what humans think.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

This second installment of the Chosen Vampire Slayer series has got action, steam, body count and frustrations. I mean men no matter if they are Vampire, Demon or Angel will never understand women and women no matter who the guy is will continue to piss off the dominating alpha(s). hehehe - Its a our right of passage.
This only difference is that Veronica is really not supposed to feel this way about the men in her life, but what the heck why not. Right? If you thought Seth disappearing at the end of Book 1 was a cliffhanger then wait until you reach the end of this book, I certainly hope one of these men in her life is regretting his life choices, if not then I know the others will/should make him. I mean what the heck was he thinking???!!!

There's a war coming, Seth is missing and Orion has his own plans for Veronica, plans that he doesn't feel like sharing with her. Not just that but there is a creature killing people.

Book two didn't even miss a beat as it picked up pretty much where book one left off. There are a few questions I still have about Veronica's past but in this book, we do get to learn a little more about her, as well as meet a few more people from her past. There is definitely something different about Veronica but I haven't quite put my finger on it yet, so I'm excited to hopefully discover that in book three.

It also ended with one hell of a cliffhanger ending which I can't wait to find out what happened.

Moon kissed is book 2 of the chosen slayer series. Want to definitely read in order.

Thankfully, the story picks right up where I wanted - letting me know what happened to Seth at the end of book 1.

We get more time with all the characters of book one plus a few new. All 3 men plus Victoria are trying to come to terms with what is going on between them and her. Even with the Seattle vampires thwarted for now, the body count is continuing to climb. Coming face to face with the cause leads to some hard choices for everyone involved.

Ending caught me off guard by surprising me and that it ended there. I am now counting the days until I can get my hands on book 3 to find out what happens next.

Orion, Seth and Logan, each had his own agenda and somewhat Veronica was included in it. With an unknown threat killing humans, they needed to focus, overcome their mutual hate, and destroy the menace. For Veronica, lust always was ready to take over and her weack flesh was giving up immediately, that was for sure for her. Difficult decisions were made in the spirit of had an ace for the incoming war but seemed it was to backfire. Intriguing Orion, Seth and Logan’s plans and the mystery around Veronica. What was she? Human or…? Action, suspense, strong emotions, danger, deceit, a strange creature, a mortal fight and lot of lust and passion. Voluntarily reviewed this copy that I enjoyed.

Just like the first book, this one grips you with action and intensity, from start to finish. The book gives you more insight into our little slayer, but also leaves some questions open for speculation. The characters are still brilliantly written, and the plot is a well manicured puzzle that draws you in by giving you more pieces, that don’t quite fit together yet, so you’re left tearing through the book to find out how they fit. What is our little slayer? And why cant her men figure out why they’re so drawn to her? As for how the book ended? I’m a little miffed at our amazing authors, but desperately need more.

Upped the stakes for survival

Veronica, a college student with an unusual job, joined by three supernatural beings, Seth a demon, Logan a fallen angel, and Orion a vampire, fight for survival after a bar fight erupts. As the story progresses a disappearance occurs, theories are held close, and finding the culprit may not come in time to save them. Mila Young and Jordan Crow have upped the stakes for survival in Moon Kissed. Their journey could not get more dangerous after this. Right?

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This book is a continuation from where the last book ended. With the disappearance of Seth we find out what happened to him and where he is.... and it isnt good. He is desperate to find a way out but with Logan unable to locate him and Orion seemingly not bothered this will prove difficult. We find out who or rather what is responsible for the murders and are left with a cliff at the end (what is going on with aurthors and cliffhangers at the moment? It seems to be most of the books I read!) This is a well written and exciting book and with books like this it is little wonder that Mila Young has become for me a one click author

Mila Young is one of my absolute favorite authors and she didn't disappoint with this book! Veronica is having some great self conflicts about her feelings for Orion...and Seth...Logan not as much..lol the fact that she likes all three is hard for her. Seth is trapped, Logan is having issues with the dead, and Orion is his self centered self thinking of himself. Veronica is getting frustrated about finding the killer and that cliffhanger!! I can't wait for the next book! I really enjoy this series., the characters are well written and the story is very ingaging..but that’s why I love Mila.

Strong development

A bit slower than the first book, but that's cause there's tons of development happening, with plots, characters and relationships. Yet it still has all the action, steam and humour that we loved in the first one. It's fascinating reading and having a dozen different theories running through your head, cause at this point, the story could go just about anywhere, which is intriguing and really stimulates my curiosity. Very excited to see where book 3 takes the plot! 😍

What a awesome series book 2 picks right up where the previous one left off. I liked that we were finally getting more of a insight into Veronica, but I still had some questions that left me speculating. You know I'm here for the drama so I'm especially loving the problematic love triangle that Veronica is evolved in. Overall a great read can't wait to see what's going to happen next. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Second book in the series. This one does get a little confusing but I have faith that it will start to make sense soon. Veronica really knows how to make stupid decisions. But thankfully her friends are there to save her. She also has her three men but since they hate each other and are considered by some as evil they aren’t always the best choice. Things are starting to heat up as the danger is also getting closer. Hope our girl starts to make better decisions but I have a feeling she won’t and will take us on well he’ll of a ride.

Moon Kissed by Mila Young and Jordan Crow is the second book in the Chosen Vampire Slayer series and is the fabulous follow-up to the first book. This book picks up right from the first and still fascinated me in the way that Veronica is pulled between the need to do what she's meant to do, kill demons, and the feelings that she has for three rather intriguing demons that she can't seem to stop thinking about. Not that this is all that she has to worry about... Well read this awesome sequel to find out for yourself!

Liking this series more and more! Book two is packed with even more action and deception. Things are really heating up for V, and the men in her life are starting to catch feelings for sure.

The three men still don't seem to care for each other, which may make things difficult on our girl in book three.

There are also a ton of lies and hidden agendas going on. I hope that everything can come to light in the third book, and when that happens hopefully there are still relationships worth saving.
