I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Alista is trying to make a name for herself an exclusive jewellery designer, she dreams of being thought of in same league as Tiffany and of course world renowned Lewis and Corr Diamonds. But becoming established is in the forefront of her mind first of all which is why she is on the super exclusive and unknown luxury liner The Luena, this is where she attracts the most attention of course the rich love owning one of a kind pieces. She cannot believe it when she bumps into non other but Rhett Lewis the heir to the throne at the cocktail party only to be disappointed with his treatment of her. But will her refusal of his apology the next day be the end of her career?
Rhett Lewis was the heir to the throne of one of the biggest and most exclusive jeweller dynasty in the world, so when his father decides he has had enough and wants to really enjoy what’s left of his life no one is more shocked than Rhett. He needs to forget for the night so when he spots a woman with more curves than a racetrack he makes a beeline for her, maybe if he hadn’t had so much to drink things may have gone differently, but when she rebuffs his apology he takes his revenge on her reputation. Discovering what his comments have done to this beautiful woman stood in front of him, he’s shocked she’s offering him a chance at redemption and her help in navigating the next stage in his career. Will he be able to resist the temptation and attraction he feels for Alista or could she be more than just his guide?
This is actually my first book by this author and I really enjoyed the characters although I found myself thinking “this man is an idiot” more than once. Now that I have discovered Ms Rose, I am looking forward to the next book. 3.8* read.

Absolutely amazing and I loved it! It is an engaging page turner that is emotionally deep with a fantastic story-line that moves along at a brisk pace, is well written, well-developed, consistent, drama-filled, funny, witty, and exciting. The characters are well written and relatable; the chemistry between them is instant and sizzling hot. Definitely recommended! Alista is a jewelry designer and she is looking for more clients.
Rhett was going to be the CEO of his father’s company but not right now in two weeks.
I didn’t like Rhett. I thought he was a jerk, but later I did understand him. However, I did like Alista from the very beginning. I missed some more info about both characters.
A sweet short story I enjoyed reading. Three stars and a half.

I found this a really good book. Alista is a great character. She is trying to establish herself as a high end jewellery designer and attends an exclusive destination full of rich and famous people to achieve more success in her career and ends up meeting Rhett Lewis one of the people she wants to be designing with and they end up falling in love together over their business dealings.

Alista is a jewelry designer and Rhett is the heir to a diamond empire. When these two meet for the first time Rhett doesn't make a great impression on Alista but by the end of the book boy has that changed, This is a cute, short, well written story with drama, humor, betrayal, steam, and a good ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I enjoyed this quick read! I love seeing strong female characters in books and Alista definitely exhibited those traits! I might have mentally "smacked" Rhett a couple of times while reading, but redemption was achievable.
