The Ultimate Guide to Pothos Plants is a reference and instructional guide for house plant enthusiasts and plant collectors to help them correctly identify different pothos plant varieties, their care and propagation. This book describes and has images of around fifty different varieties, cultivars, and forms of pothos under the Epipremnum, Philodendron and Scindapsus plant species. While The Ultimate Guide to Pothos Plants is meant for new plant parents and collectors, any plant enthusiast or horticulture student can also benefit from having this book as a quick but informative reference guide on learning the different varieties of pothos plants, as well as instructions on their proper care and successful propagation.
For hardly any books on mainly Pothos plants, I commend Marianne for making one. It's a quick read, looks a bit like a copy/paste text from the Internet, and it's a bit presumptuous that she gives a Pothos variety her own name. She knows her plants, but there could have been more photos on pruning and light examples. I like that she talks about all the varieties, but I wish she went into more of the history of the word "Pothos" and its origins as well as give photo examples of all the beautiful ways you can display Pothos. There are some great tips on how to care for the plant, but her YouTube videos will explain more in detail. The book needs some work, but I'm glad to have read it.
This book has a lot of useful information for new houseplant enthusiasts. There is even some content for the more experienced, plant owners that can be helpful
