Believe it or not, practice does NOT make perfect. Only with PERFECT Practice will it be perfect!
So, how do we "Perfect" the practice?
Well... it has to have the right kind of problems with a good variety of them... and it also has to be FUN!
These math problems offer hours of learning, and they're a great a way to develop math skills while also having fun with education!
• Produced and created by professional writers and math experts native in the English language • Large activities made easy to see with cute picture themes • Recognition of Numbers, Colors, Shapes. Etc • Enhance productivity and improve problem-solving skills • Hand-Eye Coordination • Sense of Personal Accomplishment • Tons of fun for everyone in the family
Other than the above mentioned points, this Math Activity Book is a Boredom buster for kids!
Includes a certificate on the back of the book that you can present to your child upon completion.
Considering that it is a math workbook, this has some surprisingly fun activities. I think the most fun one is coloring by number where the child has to figure out the color number by doing simple math. So, in the space where standard color-by-numbers usually have a single number to tell a child what to color, the author has an equation instead. There are also pages that have image math, coin math, and one where they match the equation with its answer. At the end of the book, there are even word problems. But this book, unfortunately, has a giant flaw. You would think a book all about math would have solutions in the back, but it does not. Pages and pages of math activities and not a single page of solutions. Because of this giant, glaring issue, I cannot recommend this book.
I received a free copy of this book, but this did not affect my review.
Kindergarten and Grade 1 are usually still very playful so it is not always easy to make our kids practice math. This collection of activities is geared to being fun with a hidden purpose. The only pages where the actual practice comes through in my eyes are the "Something is missing" pages - where children have to add a third number to make an equation. With all other pages being fun and full of nice pictures - these pages are almost bleak , reminding extremely of an exercise of an old-style math book. I like the other exercises, though. They are fun and give a happy vibe. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I am a Spanish immersion first-grade teacher it is nice to find this kind of book with several funny and useful images and ways to practice for my students. It has useful illustrations and examples. I think children will enjoy doing some addition and subtraction in different ways, as finding the color code for coloring. Also, I like there are 1-10 exercises and 1-20 exercises. I will recommend this to my parents if they want to provide extra practice for their kids. I loved the real-life problems at the end of the book.

I used this book with my 6 year old. He is a grade two child. However due to the pandemic hadn't completed grade 1.
I found the contents of the book engaging and fun. However, one topic it contained concerned me. Reasoning with dollars and cents is too high for a grade one child. . I would still however recommend this book for grade ones. It is fun and engaging
I enjoyed this workbook, although it was a little advanced for come of the students I work with. However, there is enough choice in it, to make copies for different levels.

Wonderful resource for kids to practice their addition and subtraction. There are lots of problems and activities children can learn the basics of addition and subtraction. Lots of practice. Good resource.
