When Pirate Mouse embarks on a treasure hunt one day, something soon catches her eye. But reaching it proves a lot harder than she could have imagined.
This intrepid explorer is determined, though, and soon discovers the greatest treasure of all.
A swashbuckling tale of adventure that proves the power of perseverance!
Aboard the ship lived a pirate mouse. She loved finding the treasure. But not fond of the water. Her shipmates had abandoned her a long time ago. She looked at a map where buried treasure lay below the sea. It thundered & started to rain. When it was over a Pirate Puffin was stuck in 1 of the ships fishing nets.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) yoga storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (emotions, Coping Skills), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

I enjoyed this read, which shows children that we have strengths and weaknesses; obstacles that we can overcome especially when we team up with a true friend. This seafaring adventure has original characters in an unlikely combination who become better pirates because their personalities and strengths complement each other. The illustrations in comic-book style were fun. The reason I give this book a four-star rating is that the print was minute and that in places, the level of the language was not controlled for younger readers. Overall, a charming story. who doesn't love a great pirate read? i will never look at a fish again without thinking about them with normal human noses. lol!! 2 funny. great idea. great illustrations. i really enjoyed this read ... i wish more would be this size when reading through KU. they tend to be super tiny ... in the medium of the screen on the kindle. so that makes the text almost unreadable. but this ...whatever did happen ...it is just right. great read. i enjoyed it. well done!!
Great illustrations and a great story! A pirate mouse hates getting wet but loves searching for buried treasure. After being left behind by her “friends,” she soon finds herself bored and decides to seek out some treasure on her own. She’ll end up finding so much more.
Lovely theme...had my daughter and me excited to read about mouse pirate. The pictures are thoughtful and gorgeous. Fun book to read across age groups 7-12. Keep up the wonderful work!!!
