අර්මේනියාවේ වැනර් ප්රදේශයේ සිදුවූ අමානුෂික ඝාතන දාමයෙන් සහා එමිලින්ගේ මරණයෙන් පසුව, "ගෝර්” ජීවත් ව සිටි නිවස මුළුමනින්ම ගිනිබත්ව විනාශ වි ගියේය. ගෝහා නම් වූ එම භයංකාර ආත්මය නිවසේ පිටුපස ඇති ඕක් ගසක් මත තනා තිබුණු "අට්ටාලමක්" තම වාසස්ථානය කොට ජීවත් වීමට පටන් ගත්තාය.
ගෝහාගෙන්, නිවුන් සොහොයුරාගේ ජීවීතයට අනතුරක් වේ යැයි සිතූ ඇගේ මිත්තනිය ඇයගෙන් පොරොන්දුවක් ගත්තාය. ”ඇය කිසිම දිනෙක මෙම අට්ටාලය ඇති මායිමෙන් පිටතට නොපැමිණිය යුතුය.” කතාව පටන් ගන්නේ මෙතැන් සිටය. අතිශයින්ම භයංකාර වූත්, ගුප්ත, කුතුහලයෙන් පිරී ගිය මෙම වෘත්තාන්තය අර්මේනීයාවේ සිදුවූ සත්ය සිදුවීම් දාමයක් මූලාශ්ර කොටගෙන ලියවී ඇත.
මෙය ගෝහාර් පොතේ තවත් කොටසක් නොව "වෙනම” පොතකි.
