I enjoyed learning Latin through the Ecce Romani series in high school. It teaches through immersion into the language. Starting off with short stories using only basic conjugating and inflecting and slowly builds up to fully teaching concepts. You aren't overwhelmed with data which you must learn in one chapter to go to the next.
