I can't wait

Hated to see Sienna lose her home state, but I know eventually this too shall pass. I am in awe that I've read 42 books in this series and I am still as invested in the story as ever. Robert J. Crane spins stories that have characters you love and hate but are so compelling the pages flip too fast and you're on to the next book.
Sienna started as a teen with dark forces coming to kill her. She was a teenage girl who had a tormented past. She was still good and tried to do the right things but even when she didn't, it was easy to forgive her flaws because she had such a horrifically brutal start in life.
When Sienna crossed lines and was violent sometimes far more than seemed necessary, I couldn't help wanting to see her prevail. She's plucky, brave and has a good heart despite all that has been thrust at her. I really love this series. Great job Mr. Crane!

Finding Proof of Innocence

Not so fresh off their weekend getaway that destroyed Philip Brierley’s holiday home and a poorly executed attempt at forcing empathy, Sienna is confronted by a woman who wants her to find proof of her boyfriend’s innocence.

That’s not something that Sienna and crew have ever had to do before but there’s a first time for everything. Of course it would be better if he wasn’t going to stand trial for the monstrous crimes of pedophilia and murder of one of his students. All of that on a deadline too, the state of Minnesota has passed the Metahuman Law, making it illegal for meta humans to use powers within the state.

This book is Robert Crane at his best. Want to know the reason why this series is still going strong? Look no further, it’s all here.

Bye, bye Minnesota

What a rollicking good who done it and why, this time Sienna and Reed and the gang having a good ole why and whodunit to get their teeth into. Love Sienna and Reed, hope Ariadne decides to move with the gang too. Am wondering when Lethe will get a good fight to show her dark skills again. Loved this book, cannot wait for Southern Comfort. Only down side to Mr. Cranes Sienna books, every time my pre-order arrives on my Kindle, I try not to read it all in one day.... but their impossible to put down! Absolutely jam packed full of wit, plot and amazing characters.

I didn't realise just how frenetic the previous books were, you know, when Sienna was a little off her game, until I read this one.

It's like the narrative to this one has simplified, much in the same way Sienna's thought process is doing when sober.

It is a different feeling book as a result. Still driven and fast paced. Still with a bad guy to catch. But with a clarity that comes from a more focused heroine.

A nice change of pace

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Innocence - Review
This was a really different read from Robert J. Crane. Like a detective crime novel with nasty murders, possible student/teacher involvement and the addition of juvenile metahumans thrown in the mix thinking they can over take our badass super heroine plus a Governor who can't see straight. With Sienna finally ready to make a change for the better, this was a new flavor for us readers. A nice gentler view - maybe!!!

Your killing me smalls!

Robert Crane never ceases to amaze me with the gripping tales of Sienna Nealon. Either I am getting too emotional in my old age or this series has grown to be a part of my life...lol.
Reading this one is a tear jerker. It is tough to be innocent. Good and bad. Reminiscing about when it all began made me think of Omega and Rose and everything in between. Keep Sienna going forever. What could be next for our Slay Queen heading south?

The most incredible series I have ever read

It’s hard for me to review every book I read because I read A LOT. This series is my favorite by far. Crane has a way of sucking you in and wanting more. When I near the end of the book, I try to read slower lol, I don’t want it to end and have to wait for the next. I really hope there’s no end in site for Nealon and her “family”. Exciting and heart pounding. An absolute MUST READ!

Sienna takes a final case in Minnesota to prove a man's innocence before being forced to leave by the governor's new law against meta-humans. Too much filler in this one. Also, lots of inconsistencies with their powers. In the past, Reed could control storms all over the world, yet he was struggling after one altercation . Sienna is supposed to be the most powerful but easily struggles. I don't know, this one was just a little off for me.

Incredible amount of content over a span of a few days

I love this series so much. I truly hope Sienna's new path sets her up for some good times. Obviously, it won't all be rainbows, but she deserves some happy thrown in there too. This book though was great. Tides have turned. New beginnings. Big case with a very big twist. Yes, all of this was just great.

End of an era

Doesn’t matter how many Sienna books I’ve read I literally do not want the book I’m reading to end. A fantastic read yet again, these books never fail to keep you in suspense and on the edge of your seat. Action packed and hilarious banter. Can’t wait to see how things go for sienna and the gang after their fresh start. Definitely a highly recommended series.

Another great one!

I don’t think I’ve ever read one dud from this series. I love them all. I can’t wait to read the next one and I truly hope they just keep coming. Because I’m a big time Siena Nealon fan. And I love all the characters. But I’m truly hoping for her to find someone she can love and who loves her just the way she is. I hope we will see that sometime.

Back to the Siena we all love!

Yes!! She is back, and her brother and friends with her. Minnesota is a bygone, and now they are off to new things! This book was back to Siena kicking ass and taking names! Yes, she has help because let's face it, she would be dead already without some help! I am so looking forward to the next one!

Emotional.......

Well it would be without all the mayhem! Another good read with our heroine becoming more human than superhero, as she fights for justice for one individual as her home continues to eject her. Great stuff.

Stupid Shipley

Politicians....
Poor girl just can't get a break.
Glad she's straight again though, got kind of old her wallowing in self pity. She's better than that. Every now and then is understandable, but she was next leveling it.
No matter what, she's a hero.

Loved it

I loved that Sienna was looking to find innocence instead of stumbling onto a "bad guy." I also love that her mindset is different! Great storytelling and a fantastic ending. I really want to see Mimaw get her hooks into Sienna for avoiding her now! Lol

Awesome

I read a lot of books. Some bore to tears. This series didn't do that. I am getting ready to read 44 and dreading when I get to 49. I hope it goes on from there. Sienna is the bomb. I love her and her smart mouth.

Proving innocence

This was a change for our heroin! This time she is working to prove the innocence of a client. There is still plenty of action and the added local government neigh sayers. A very good read! Enjoyed it tremendously..
